In a deep economic recession, AIESEC in Spain grew in iGIP.
Their goal wasn’t only to grow iGIP, but to change Spain.
In a struggling economy, they wanted to be a part of the solution—by supporting entrepreneurs. They found that entrepreneurs couldn’t sell enough of their products in the Spanish market because of the recession.
With trainees from AIESEC, entrepreneurs in Spain were able to sell their products and services abroad.
The entrepreneurs will be more successful because of AIESEC. The EPs will learn marketing, but also learn about taking risks and fighting for an entrepreneurial idea even in harsh environments. And the members selling and delivering these TNs learn sales, but they also contribute to leadership in the world and entrepreneurship in their country.
