Analyze Learner
Teaching parts of the digestive system to 4th graders. There are 20 students 10 girls and 10 boys.
There are 8 African American, 2 Chinese, and 10 whites.
State Objectives
My students will recite the names of the teeth plus the parts of the tooth after watching a video
and labeling the parts on a study guide with 95% accuracy by the end of the day.
Select Methods Media and Materials
The projector will be used to show a video. They will also use social media to join the class
Facebook.
Utilize Media and Materials
They will also watch a video on YouTube that will introduce them to the parts of the teeth and
they can also access it at home if they need too. They will also get a hand out where they can
label the parts of the tooth and the teeth to review. I will also introduce them to the class
Facebook group so they can get materials they miss and review if they need to as well as ask
questions.
Require Learner Participation
I will ask students to write down three things they learned about the mouth today without looking
at their material.
Evaluate and Revise
I will evaluate my students by making sure my class participates in classroom activities. I will
also review the material as we go through it. I will also read through their writing assignment to
see if what the students had learned was accurate to see what I need to review.
