Omer Almog, Eastern New Mexico University, JR, Israel, Iowa Central Community College
Almog led the Greyhounds to a second-place finish at the New Mexico Highlands Cross Country Jam. He registered a
fourth-place finish in the 8k run with a season-best time of 25:22.
FEMALE
Jade Guererro, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, JR, Corpus Christi, King High School
Guerrero completed the 6k course at the Texas A&M Invitational in College Station, Texas. She finished in 24:01.7, the
10th fastest time in TAMUK's history. Guerrero finished 95th in the race featuring 16 NCAA Division I programs.

Michael Anzures, Western New Mexico, FR, Seboyeta, N.M., Grants
Anures finished third on the team at the Coyote Challenge in San Bernardino, Calif. He posted a time of 27:04.2 to come
in 41st in the 8k race.
FEMALE
Kaycie Cormier, Western New Mexico, FR, Douglas, Ariz., Douglas
Cormier was the second one across for the Lady Mustangs at the Coyote Challenge in San Bernardino, Calif. She posted
a time of 20:12.0 to place 72nd in the 5k race.

OTHER TOP PERFORMERS
Dorian Carrasco, Western New Mexico, ran to a new person record time of 26:10.1 during the 8k race in San
Bernardino. He posted an average mile time of 5:15.9 and placed 20th in helping the Mustangs to a seventh-place finish.
Jose Ventura IV, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, competing at the Texas A&M Invitational in a field that included
16 Division I schools, posted the fifth fastest 8k time in school history. The sophomore clocked in at 25.29.1, the quickest
mark among all non-Division I athletes in College Station. He also finished ahead of 90 student-athletes from Division I
programs.
Laban Kandie, Angelo State University, was his third consecutive race at the Islander Classic. The sophomore ran
19:26 over the 4-mile race. It is his second win this season.
Amy Farfan, Western New Mexico, paced the Lady Mustangs with a time of 19:56.6 in the 5k race. Farfan placed
57th as WNMU came in 10th as a team in San Bernardino.
Kelsey Warren, Angelo State University, recorded her third straight top-five finish of the season at the Islander
Classic. She ran 19:39 over 5K to place second overall. She has placed in the top five in all three races this season.
Coley Norcross, Eastern New Mexico University, was ENMU's top finisher at Saturday's New Mexico Highlands Cross
Country Jam. Her fifth-place performance at 19:59 paced ENMU to a second-place finish.
Cynthia Tovar, Eastern New Mexico University, completed the 5k run with a time of 21:54 at the New Mexico
Highlands Cross Country Jam. She placed 46th in the race.

Coley Norcross and Omer Almog registered strong performances at the New Mexico Highlands University Cross Country
Jam on Saturday, to pace the Eastern New Mexico cross country teams to second-place finishes. The event marked the
second competition of the season for the Hounds.
The Greyhound women earned 44 points and finished behind Colorado College's 33 point total. NMHU took third with
48 points. The Greyhound men earned 63 points to finish behind South Plains (17 points). Colorado College (73 points)
and New Mexico Highlands (81 points) placed third and fourth, respectively.
Almog's fourth-place finish in the 8k run came at 25:22. He edged Benjamin Ronoh from South Plains College by more
than 30 seconds. Almog was the lone runner in the top six that was not competing from meet champions South Plains.
Garrett Meyer and Lorenzo Juarez finished 12th and 13th at 27:01 and 27:26, respectively.
Norcross time of 19:59 earned a fifth-place finish. She edge NMHU's Natalie Marrujo by just six seconds. Abby Kepfer

3. and Mason Swanson placed eighth and ninth with times of 20:28 and 20:38, respectively.
ENMU returns to action on Friday, September 29th, for the New Mexico Junior College Invitational.
