of time in the beginning of

putting large amounts of
detail into our initial ideas

The detail put into this
crucial stage of the pitch
creation proved very
useful when carrying out
the tasks that followed,
especially plotting.
11. Scene 1
The scene is set at night, the mother and the daughter are at
home sitting comfortably in the living room, the TV then shows
immediate news alert of two men escaping prison, and dialogue
then begins
Daughter: Mum!
Mother comes rushing in
Daughter: They’ve escaped, they are coming for me, Mum help
me! As she points to the TV screen, the mother goes to comfort
the daughter
The camera zooms onto the screen of the police cars, then a
sound bridge occurs leading to the next scene when the police
cars past by a bus stop looking for the escaped convicts.
12. Scene 2
Story now set at a bus stop where two other men are sitting
waiting on the other side
Convict Two: We can’t be seen in this.
Referring to their jail uniform
Convict One: They’ve seen us
Both convicts look at each other complicity, knowing what they
need to do.
13. Scene 3
Story is now set outside the first victims house, still nighttime.
Convicts act as worrying neighbors so that they can enter the
house, however they end up breaking the door down to gain
entry, both women scream when they try to gain entry.
Convict Two: Hello again.
Convict One makes his way across the living room to the
frightened women.
Mother: Please just leave us alone.
Mother pleads.
Convict Two grabs mother and starts to take her out of the room.
Mother: No, stop, get off me, let me go..
You can slightly hear the mother shouting to the daughter how
she loves her as she is now out of sight.
14. Scene 4
Still in the living room, scene is now set with re-arranged
furniture.
Convict One: You’re not going anywhere
Girl struggles but fails to escape
Girl restrained tied to chair unable to escape, looks up to Convict
One with a look of desperation. Convict One smiles in an usually
comforting way, the scene is very uneasy and edgy.
Convict One grabs girls face so she looks him in the eyes, then he
kills her.
Scene 5
Convict Two: So where to next Boss?
The End.
18. Jake Smith
One of the main antagonists of the film, he grew up in a
neighborhood considered to be ‘posh’. He grew up with
his mother, father and older brother. He has achieved
good grades, but had spent 3 years in jail after trying to
kill Sophie. After almost completing their sentence, he
and Oli decide to escape. They plan on going on a killing
spree, and decide on Sophie being their first victim.
Costume: Orange jumpsuit, suit
19. Oli Mackley
Another antagonist of the film, he has grown up in the
same neighborhood as Jake, therefore the two became
best friends. He has grown up with his father and little
sister, as his mother divorced him after having their
youngest child. Also spending the same amount in jail as
Jake, he also agrees to escape jail and join the killing
spree. He mainly follows what Jake tells him to do.
Costume: Orange jumpsuit, suit
20. Sophie Green
The main victim of the film, she has grown up in a gated
community. Sophie lives with her mum and their two
cats. She is smart and achieves good grades, and
volunteers to help at a homeless center on Saturdays.
After being a victim of bullying for 2 years, she is still
recovering after almost being murdered by Jake Smith
and Oli Mackley.
Costume: skinny jeans, top
21. Lily Green
The mother of Sophie, she has been the main
support for her after being bullied and almost
murdered. She is now protective over Lily and
worries about her whenever she is not at home.
She is also one of the main victims after the two
antagonists break into their home to find Sophie.
Costume: jeans, top and cardigan
