2. 6 Film Synopsis
1.A girl got a time machine and goes back
to 5 minutes ago . She breaks the time
machine by accident and stuck in it . She
can never escape from these five minutes.
2.An orphan girl got a time machine
and goes back to 20 years ago
accidently . She gets to know that she
was born in a politically guilty family
and knows the reason she was
abandoned.
3.A girl got a time machine and went
to the future for few times because
she found out that she was no longer
alive at that time . She trys to avoid
causes that might lead to death for
many times but it still doesn't work.
5.A girl got locked in a cold storage and
she from the future rescued herself in
the last moment.
4.A girl got a future predict camera
and saw the scene that she’s going to
be killed by a guy which is in 5
minutes.
6.A girl from 1950s time-traveled to
2020 and met a boy . She heard
about the virus and proposed a
long-lost solution . With the help of
the boy , they defeated the virus
and the world gradually go back to
peace.

3. Pros and cons
Pros Cons
1 It's convenient to set up the scenes because the
setting is time-traveling for 5 minutes , so
there's no huge place difference.
The time-traveling scene demands animation technology
and special effect.
It's time consuming.
2 The storyline is logical and fascinating . It also
characterize the characters.
It require 2000s style costume and the background must
be set up like 2000 .
Demand a lot of characters.
3 The story is intense and interesting. Need to do more editing work.
Technical demanding.
Subject-sensitive .
4 It's easy to film .
The equipments are all common and easily
accessible.
The storyline is too simple.

5 The storyline is intense and exciting .
It doesn't demand a lot of scenes.
Demand venue . It's difficult to get permission to shoot in

4. Final decision
I analyzed and evaluated the positive and negative for each ideas ,
and i also discuss those ideas with my teammate and the members
of other group .
After the negotiation and the consideration , we decided to use
the idea 4 as the final one because it's easy to film and the
equipments are all common and easily accessible.

5. Film opening sequence ideas
I have 4 ideas for film opening sequence.
1.The detective is picking a phone call and looking at a picture at the
same time.The case he received was about an unusual murder.A girl
died in her bedroom and there was a camera left in the scene of
crime.According to statistics,three people have been murdered recently
and all of them had been used a same camera.The detective is trying to
find clues for the girl's death from recent photos.Then he finds things
are way more creepier than he thought...

6. 2.In this opening scene i will show the ending first,then back to the
start of the film.
A girl suddenly woke up in the hospital in horror.She looked around to
make sure she was alive.But she found out she was in a mental
hospital.She tried to tell everybody that the she will be killed anytime
but nobody trusts her.She became hopeless and recalled the horror
memory.

7. 3.In this opening sequence,i will show the flower shop first.A woman
who works there was pruning flowers.Her boyfriend walked into the
flower shop and waited till the shop close so he can pick her up after
work.While they were talking,a strange old woman walked in,she
quickly left a camera in the shop then ran away.They were confused but
the man decided to take that camera home.At that night they found
some creepy picture in the camera.They went to the police office
immediately.

8. 4.A girl is crying in the dark room,she was illegal imprisonment by a
stranger because she found a camera which had his crimes in it.She
tried everything to escape there but it was all in vain.She called her
family and started recalled the whole things happened these days and
the details of the crime picture.

9. Pros and cons
Option1
Pros:The setting is detective office,which is professional.The story
would be more attractive when it starts at a tense scene.Figure the
case step by step would make the audiences feel like they are
experencing thing by themselves.
Cons:Demand venue,it's difficult to decorate the setting like a real
detective office.It also demands characters,the male detective is hard
ro find,it requires acting skills,he must shows the charming personality
and attitude like Sherlock Holmes.

10. Option2
Pros:This film opening sequence can create tensions,when a girl woke
up in a hospital.It would make audiences wonder what happened.It is
also very classic for horror movies.
Cons:Demand venue.The setting is hospital,it's hard to get the
permission to shoot in a hospital.It also demands a lot of characters
and equipments.

11. Option3
Pros:The opening sequence is full of the sense of life,just like the sence
of normal daily life.It's easy to shoot when the setting is flower
shop.The atmospher is relaxed,then when the main part coming,the
transition can impress the audiences.It only requires a few amount of
characters.
Cons:Demands a lot of editing to make the movie vivid.

12. Option4
Pros:The opening sequence can really create a tense atmospher.The
emotions of the character were showed at the beginning of the
movie.The setting is easy too decorate.The equipments are also easy to
asscess.
Cons:It's hard to shoot when the scenes are in a dark enviroment,the
lighting needs to be controlled strictly to performed the atmospher.It
demands character's acting skills to perform perfectly.

13. Evaluation
My task was to come up with a set of initial film ideas and film opening
sequence options.I came up with film synopsis then analysis the pros
and cons for each options.I decided to choose the option 4 for
filming.Because it's the most tense one to show the atmospher and
express the feelings to the audiences directly.Also the equipments are
all easy to asscess,it's the most east one to take up with.
