We 're higher than many of the "majors", but we still are cheaper than the "niche" products like the
Rainbow. We have a quality product; we need to keep our quality high. The trouble is, the customer
just doesn 't know it. Salespeople on the retail floor are not knowledgeable enough to sell our
quality products. We need to communicate our story to the customer. I 'd like to have enough of an
advertising budget to get our story out for once. Telling our story won 't be easy. I 've got two
proposals, one for $1.5 million which should achieve the reach and frequency needed for re–
establishing our quality image. The other is a "bare–bones" program that will sacrifice national
coverage to make sure that sufficient frequency is obtained in the top markets. If the results are as
good as I think they will be, we should have little trouble getting the rest of the budget next year.

household (U.S.
Consensus, Household Characteristics p.1). Since there cannot be six–tenths of a child, I will round
up to three children, in which the Simpson family has: Bart, Lisa and Maggie. Also, the average
American is a blue–collar worker. The father figure, Homer, meets this factor with his job at the
nuclear power plant within his hometown of Springfield. So according to the statistics, the Simpson
family could be considered an average American family.
In the next part of the essay, I will look at each individual character of the Simpson family, and try
to relate how that individual could be considered a typical American. I attempt to avoid using
stereotypes, but nothing is full proof. I will look at some of the character's traits and try to relate
how that is a parody of an American.
First, I will begin with discussing the character of Homer Simpson. As you might know, Homer is
the father figure of the household, whose responsibilities include financially supporting the
household, since he is the household's primary source of income. He has his flaws like any person
would, but somehow he and his family tend to work it out. Some of his mishaps are very similar to

these things come fictional characters in which sometimes we can get attached to and feel that we
can easily relate to them in some many levels.As a kid growing up my favorite fictional things were

not based strictly on history. Fact Fiction can be expressed in a variety of formats, including
writings, performances, films, television programs, animations, video games, and role–playing
games. Psychology researchers have long ignored fiction literature because its only role seems to be
entertainment, with no compatible connection validity. We argue that literary narratives have a more

Homer is actually stealing from his place of employment. His job is to monitor energy use, and
document it precisely so American's are billed correctly for their energy use. He is working to
prevent exactly what he is doing wrong at home by stealing cable television. Many Americas could
have been watching this episode on their cable televisions. For those Americans who are actually
stealing cable television this episode will either consciously or unconsciously make those families
think about what they are doing is wrong. This is an intelligent way of conveying an important

created underlying themes and messages which capture the audience's attention unnoticeably. "The
Simpsons" not only have a close family unit but within their family there is freedom to express their

Johannes Mehserle unintentionally shot and killed Oscar Grant. He was on duty as a train officer for

Whether you love them, or hate them, The Simpsons a key piece to young adulthood in many homes
around the world. From depicting things such as struggling with disorders, problems with the boss,

As I look around me, I noticed the buildings that surrounded me. There was a lot of grey buildings

Abstract. This study was done to test two hypotheses'. The first being Different groups of intensities
of impulsivity (Barratt's Impulsiveness Scale scores) will increase along with the Balloon Analogue

If we look at Season 12 episode 9 – "Homr", Homer becomes inspired by the animation convention
that's in town. Generating his first impulse by removing all his life savings from his joint account
with Marge to invest in the company without any knowledge of the stock market other than his own
perception of the product. Even as the teller informs Homer that he would need to have his wife
sign, he goes behind a plant to impersonate Marge to sign and Lisa to get some candy. He even tries
to leave after accepting the candy without getting the money that he went in for. After losing his

We were limited it finish building the tower in 18 minutes, and we were only allowed to use 20
