Sayville High School Research Paper
Last day of Sayville High School 2016
Everyone has times in their life when they have to say goodbye. It's often extremely difficult
especially if they're saying goodbye to someone they care about. My last day of high school was a
very bittersweet day because I knew I had to say goodbye to my favorite teacher, Mr. Hoss. Mr.
Hoss was my global history and government teacher. He was a very special teacher and truly cared
about his students. He knew that I struggled a lot in his classes and he never gave up on me. He also
had what the two of us called "Hoss Power" which would come into action whenever I was feeling
stressed out. He always knew how to make me feel better with his kind words. He also gave me a
feeling of reassurance because he knew no matter how much school work I had to do, I would get it
all done. By the time it got to the last period of the last day of school, most students often wanted to
go hang out with their friends, or go home. Spending time with Mr. Hoss was much more important
to my sister, Jamie and I.
Prior to the last day of school, we told Mr. Hoss that we wanted to spend our last period of our last
day of senior year together. I knew though when the time would come, it would be hard to leave, but
I also knew it wouldn't be the last time I would see him. I remember it ... Show more content on

I wanted to make it a day worth remembering and I got my wish. I got to spend the final period of
the day, with my favorite teacher. Mr. Hoss was always there for me and he proved to me how much
he cared over the years by continuing to have faith. That is something I will never forget about him.
All of the happiness he had brought me that day and over the years will always mean so much to
me. High school goes by very quick and before you know it, you are graduating. I wanted to make
my last day of senior year memorable, and I got exactly what I have

Death Grief And Bereavement Research Paper
The impact of death, grief and bereavement has different effects for diffferent people. Some cope
with the loss of a loved one in a variaety of ways. Even though it may be a very difficult period,
some people actually find some kind of personal growth during the grieving process. It can give
them time to think about their own life and a need to improve themselves to live a more purposeful
life in the event that they should face death also. However, there is absolutely no correct way in
coping with death, grief and bereavement.
I, however, did not cope with death too well. The moment when I found out about my grandmothers
death is something I remember like it was yesterday. Let me start from the beginning.
It was a normal day, coming near ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I had lost a gran but my dad had lost a mother. Seeing him so vurnable and in pain made me wail all
over again but this time it felt like the tears where endless. I tried to be strong for him but I couldn't,
I realised how weak I really was. Everyday I plastered on a fake smile hoping to trick myself into
beleieving I had gotten over her death, but no matter how hard I tried my silent cries and tears at

Examples Of Dehumanization In Night
Dehumanization During The Holocaust
During the holocaust, the germans saw the jews as a "tainted race", and saw them inferior to
themselves. They also sought to kill off the jewish bloodline completely.
The germans conducted inhumane forms of torture towards the jews, such as separation from their
families and killing of family members, experimentation, and refusal of care. In the novel "Night",
by Elie Wiesel, the author, an actual holocaust survivor, reveals the explicit details of the holocaust,
as well as some of the personal struggles he experienced throughout the time of him being in a
concentration camp.
The holocaust brought out the worst of the jews personalities, and what went from Wiesel's tight
knit community, went to every man for himself.
In "Night", by Elie Wiesel, the author describes dehumanization in himself, his father, and fellow
jews brought upon by the abuse and torture of the holocaust. ... Show more content on

As Wiesel is deported to a concentration camp, we can see how his personality begins to alter,
through him making comments questioning his faith, as well as sympathy, especially towards his
father. His father takes abuse from the german officers for the first time in front of Wiesel, and he
says "I stood petrified. What happened to me? My father had been struck in front of me and I hadn't
blinked;... only yesterday I would've dug my nails into the criminals flesh." This was also reflected
on the death of Wiesel's father, where there was seemingly no remorse, or as he puts it, a relief that
his father was gone. " I did not weep. It pained me that I could not weep. But I was out of tears. And
deep inside me, if I could have searched the recesses of my feeble conscience, I might have found

Christopher Wallace Meaning
After listening to the song, you could tell that it had significant meaning in history and impacted the
lives of many listeners who had just lost a special friend or family member. This is indicated by
these sentences in the lyrics; 'Seems like yesterday we used to rock the show', '...you're gone', 'The
night they took my friend', 'you still livin' your life after death', 'I'll be missing you', 'Thinking of the
day, When you went away, What a life to take, What a bond to break', '... hard with you not around',
'...you in heaven smilin' down' and 'Watchin' us while we pray for you'. This song is a tribute to "The
Notorious B.I.G."; Christopher Wallace, also known as "Biggie smalls", who was murdered on
March 9, 1997, at the age of 24. The song was released a month after his death (the same year), and

As they were colleagues, they were close friends, so the assassin of Wallace hit Puff Daddy hard. He
therefore wanted to write and record a song, in order to express his sorrow, and other feelings. This
you know because Puff Daddy several times explains his feelings, ex. 'Life ain't always what it seem
to be'– meaning that Wallace's death was completely unexpected, he was just suddenly gone, and
Puff could never give him a proper 'goodbye'. You could find out that Puff still is dealing with the
loss of his friend; 'My thoughts big I just can't define', and can't really believe the fact that he's gone
forever from his life; 'Still can't believe you're gone'. The only strength, the only thing keeping his
hope– that his friend always will be there for him, he's always in his heart; 'Till the day we meet
again, In my heart is where I'll keep you friend', and that one day he will see him again, is their
memories; 'Memories give me the strength I need to proceed, Strength I need to believe', 'You and
me taking flicks', Making hits stages they receive you

Jackson Heights Murder Report
Standing in front of his TV, sipping his morning coffee, Andrew Barnes coughed, grabbing his throat
and dropped the cup on the floor. When the announcer spoke, "We are going live to the scene of the
brutal murder of the couple in Jackson, Heights." "Thank you, Brian, yesterday afternoon a neighbor
called the police to a home on Olive Lane, about a horrible odor coming from the house. Upon
entering the home, they found a brutally murdered couple lying on the living room floor. Later they
identified them as Mr. Mrs. Bert Stevens. According to the neighbor, their grandson lived with them.

Essay On The Ghost
The church bells awoke the town on an icy November morning. I, however, had been on my
morning stroll around the town for the past hour. I was pleased when I approached the sheriffs office
to use as shelter from the cold, and to deliver freshly baked bread. As I opened the door I was
immediately greeted by the sound of whispers and Caroline–the sheriff's wife–franticly rushing
towards me. "Edyth! Did you come alone?" Her voice sounded urgent as she dug her hands into my
arms. "Yes, yes, just as I always do, Caroline. What happened?" Her rosy cheeks went pale. "You
haven't heard?" "No, Caroline. Just tell me already." Caroline's nails released me from their grasp.

"Well, I do believe that was smart of her. Better you home, safe, with me, than out and about alone
with this maniac on the loose!" Just as he finished speaking, the sound of footsteps approached the
door. The voice of Mr. Ben Fitzgerald almost immediately gave an identity to the steps. "Clark!
Edyth! Open up!" Clark reached for the door. "What do you need now, Fitz?" "Hello to you too! I
have a proposal to make. May I come in?" His voice was fairly happy. "Yes, come on in. Would you
like some tea? I will go make some tea." The annoyance in Clark's voice as he walked away was
obvious. As he made the tea, I sat Fitz down in the chair next to the fireplace. "Edyth, how are you
today?" He looked up at me with eyes full of curiosity for such a small question. "As well as can be
expected, given the news." "Yes, I understand." He looked at the fire now, immensely focused in
thought. We stayed in silence–in thought about this subject–until Clark returned with the tea. "How
are you, Fitz?" "Fine. How are you, Clark?" "Fine also. You, however, seem to unusually chipper
today to seem 'fine'. May I ask why you are chipper on a day like today?" "I am not chipper, I found
one thing about this entire situation to be exited about. As you know, I am a lawyer, I normally work

Personal Narrative Analysis
Yesterday, my travels began. I said goodbye to all my friends, finished packing my bags, and drove
to SFO. I ate dinner at the Virgin lounge and then my mom walked me through security to my gate.
As we went down the escalator, I realized that this was it. I had talked about this day for over a year;
I anticipated what it would feel like to say good bye to my parents and not see them again for many
weeks. I wasn't nervous because I knew everything would be fine, but it was still sad to say
goodbye. My mom hugged me one last time before I finally embarked on my adventure. A man
from Virgin then escorted me onto the plane an directed me toward my seat. I sat down, organized

The And Fathers, Sisters And Brothers, Sons And Daughters
Mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, sons and daughters, Thank you for joining me here today
as we celebrate the life of Ruth Smith. As a daughter, sister, and mother herself, Ruth has lived in
our hearts and shall live there forever. While I am not a member of the clergy, I am certainly a man
of faith and as such, I would ask that all who feel so inclined, please join me in reciting the Lord's
Prayer. All things in life change. And as Ruth has made the transition from her physical body to
return to our Father's side, so now must we make the transition from being in her loving company to
carrying her in our minds and hearts. It is a time for us to say goodbye, but it is also a time for us to
say hello! We say goodbye to the physical shell she leaves behind, but we greet our relationship with
her soul as it joins with God in His Kingdom and lives inside all of His children here on earth. For it
is through the grace of God that the dead do not die. They live forever, in God's mind and in ours.
And so it is this day that our service is twofold: We are here to release our burdens, our fears, and
our pain. We are here that Ruth should be released from the torment and turmoil that had come to be
far too much of her daily life as her horrible condition ravaged her mind. Yet we also open our
hearts today, that our relationships with her might be reborn through the grace of God. Whom God
hath given to us, no one and nothing can take away. Whom He brings together

How Is King Arthur Awful
Arthur's day was awful. First, he woke up to find his garden destroyed. Second discovered his
favorite characters died, and third lost his sketchbook. Now, he was heading towards his relaxing
area, Garden of Stormy Emotions, a cafe he loves. But if Arthur was being honest, he was there for
the barista. Who wrote him cute little notes on his napkin and who had a smile like a sun rising. Oh,
boy, when Arthur found out he went to his school and was in his grade; he squealed. Arthur pulled
down his baggy sweatshirt. Then pushed the door open and strolled up to the counter, where Mister

Narrative Essay : A Beautiful Day
It was a warm, perfect September morning. All was right with Mrs. Johnson. She had her hair all
done up and she had her favorite dress on. It was light red. It was the same color as the trees that
were starting to change. The sun had come up and it shined beautifully through the kitchen window,
which exposed the delicious breakfast she had prepared.
After saying goodbye to Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Johnson left her home with a bright shining smile on her
face. It was going to be a great day. Every day, Mrs. Johnson stops at a small shop to get some
jellybeans. She gets a baggy and fills it with as many jellybeans as possible. She puts the baggy in
her purse after she pays. She gave the cashier an extra 50c because she had smiled back at Mrs.
Johnson.
She always took a new route so she would see new people and new places everyday. Yesterday, she
went to the eastern part of the city. Today, she will go to the western side. As she walked, she she
noticed everyone's hurried, stressed, and angry faces. Yet, she smiled at everybody she passed. One
young lady looked particularly hurried and tired. "Hello! What a beautiful day it is!" Mrs. Johnson
said as she made her way to the young woman. "What? Oh, yes," The young woman continued
walking, this time a little quicker. "You seem very tired. May I help you in any way?" Mrs Johnson
walked quicker too so she could keep up with her. " No thank you. I really need to go now. I am
already very late and I do not want to lose my new job." The

A Brief Essay : The Causes Of The War?
Intro Hello to whoever is reading this. I have decided to start writing down events of my days. Day
1 It has been only 2 months. A lot has happened. A lot has changed. Life was better before now...
before the war. Mum was alive then. Dad and I miss her, we miss her a lot. There are still signs of
her around the house. That's another thing I miss, the house before the bombing. It destroyed our
front porch and my bedroom. The roof also leaks. The only thing dad and I gained off of this war is
a good friend. Martin was a handyman. He lived a street away from us but the bombing completely
destroyed his house killing his only child. He lived with us now. He became family. I think we are
going alright. Well apart from Dad, he has a nasty cut ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Dad arrived back home eventually with fresh a fresh bandage and stitches. He didn't seem happy
though. But I guess none of us are these days. The best feeling is seeing dad come home. Just before
he comes there is always the fear that he wasn't coming back. He brought me some pills for my
stomach, but I think his term "borrowed" meant he stole them. Martin got sad and annoyed about it.
He wasn't angry just sad and disappointed. We have got low on food. Martin found out he enjoys
cooked spam with old potatoes. Nothing really happened today, we just worked on bits and pieces.
Dad slept. I'm about to go to bed. Martin just left the house he is planning on bringing some food
back. I hope he does we are all starving. Day 4 Just ate the last bit of jerky. Dad offered it to me. He
said he wasn't hungry. I'm a little bit thirsty but I'll be fine. We will wait until Martin gets home.
Update; Martin made it home. He brought no food only tears and a bloody axe. He said he killed a
man and the man's son. They had him cornered at the old church. They weren't just normal people,
they were the ones that come to life in times like these. Going around and terrorising people,
stealing and killing. I think they are called bandits. It didn't matter who they were, Martin was very
upset about it. I have this horrible feeling in me about Martin, but I haven't lost trust. I'm sure if he
didn't do what he had done he wouldn't be here with us now. Day 8 A lot has

Personal Narrative: My Brother Being In The Military
An unknown author once said," Keep your head up. God gives his hardest battles to his strongest
soldiers." I believe God has been giving me a lot of battles lately. One of my battles was on
December the nineteenth, when I had gastric sleeve bypass surgery in Oxford, MS. A month passed,
and I was doing wonderful. Then I had to go back in the hospital for gallbladder surgery. It has been
almost eight months, and I have lost over eighty pounds. It has made me feel like a new person.
Another battle I have faced is my brother being in the Navy. He has been enlisted for almost three
years. I always say I don't miss him, but in fact I do miss him. This week we had to say goodbye to
him because he had to leave for his deployment. I look

Life Essay : The Day That Changed My Life
I remember it like it was yesterday, the day that changed my life forever. On March 9th of 2011, my
mom was diagnosed with skin cancer in her lung. The doctor gave her about six months to live and
this is how it went.
It was a normal day, after school we got a text to come straight home right, no big deal right? I
walked up the steps, dreading every step I took because she's going to make me do dishes or
something. I'm going to have to do a set of chores before I can leave again, normal day like I said.
Little did I know, I would dreaded this day a lot more than expected. Once I seen the look on her
face, I knew it wasn't just dishes. She began to tell us to not be scared ,but she won't be here for
long. She has cancer and with only six months to live. I was in disbelief, shocked and all I could
think is "how could you leave me like this?", selfish right? I remember going down the stairs to sit
in her car ,but she was too sick to drive, therefore, it would become mine. I sat there replaying a new
Eminem CD over and over and over. So this is the beginning of a life–changing experience, your
sweet 16 is supposed to be the best year of your childhood. Unfortunately, I will forever remember
my 16 as the last year I kissed my mom , the last year I got to tell her something about my day and
the last year she made me do dishes.

I had only been to Nabir once. I was traveling to another plane when I discovered I had accidentally
deviated from the normal route, landing myself in an unfamiliar place. The Nabirians wore
elaborately engraved tags around their necks that varied between bright neon to modest bland
colors, all of which had numerical values inscribed upon them. The people minded their own
business, kept polite conversations, and talked in smooth voices; a refreshing change to the other
unscrupulous planes I had visited in the past. I was enticed, however, by how incredibly intelligent
the people on the plane appeared to be – though I soon found that conversing with a Nabir native
could be quite undesirable and mostly one sided. The first time I had met a native was while walking
to the bathroom. I had made the innocent mistake of greeting her good day. She turned her gaze
towards me to smile amiably and proceeded to regurgitate a slew of information at me. I registered a
few words in the midst of my bewilderment, but most of her language was obscure and convoluted –
the kind in the English lexicon one would find buried in a dictionary, and after five continuous
minutes of the woman 's monotonous voice, I hastily bade her goodbye and shuffled past her. Nabir
was the only plane that had a visitor center. In fact, it was the only visitor center that played what
appeared to be three different recordings of lectures at once, which resulted in a cacophonous

Am–nē–zha The sun was ascending so fast on the horizon when Aika and I blundered through the

the market 's air. As we were walking, I stopped after identifying some fascinating small portrait
sneaking at the corner of a chair. "Wait, I need to see something," I beamed to Aika. She whipped
her head and when I looked, shooting one last glance toward her, she shooed me with her right hand
in the air. Then, she indicated she was going to grab some cappuccino from Starbuck located in the
middle of the street. I gave her the signal and diverted my attention on the miniature. I edged slowly
into the chair and I crouched down to pick the portrait, to get a better look. My eyes irresistibly draw
to the crack at the center of the portrait. I put it back, with my brown eyes lit up at the price tag, who
had introduced into shrinking cost. I walked away from the stall and as I rambled down the street to
rejoin Aika. I saw a diary located on the sidewalk. It was bounded by brown paper, twine wrapped
around it and a dusty plastic flower at the center. I took a step to pick it up on the highest shelf. Then
my heart began to hammer in my ribcage, as I slid the flower on the right side, eyes widened to the

Danny And The Dinosaur: An Analysis
As a child, my love for dinosaurs was huge. I was so interested by their size, their habits, and how

how Danny and the dinosaur became friends. Danny wished that he could become alive and be
friends with him. All of a sudden, the dinosaur starts talking! The messages I learned from this book

the best part about Destiny are the raids. Perhaps the most challenging activity known to man, raids
can take anywhere from 1–7 hours, require 6 players, and require your utmost concentration and

Overall, Destiny 2 has stunning graphics, highly customizable characters, tons of content, and that

My Best Friend : A Personal Experience : My Best Friend
6 months ago.. Been 6 months 194 days, 8 hours ,49 minutes , and 20 seconds since I lost my best
friend. These past couple months have been horrible for me. She is all I think about on a daily basis.
Everything I do is for her. I remember this day like it was yesterday. All the tears, memories, laughs,
conversations. Kamilion Jenkins meant a lot to a whole bunch of people. She was filled with
laughter, love, smiles, everything you can think of. All the memories we had together, the night I
heard the bad news, and the day we said our last goodbyes are the days I won't ever forget. Me and
Milly had a lot of memories together. We spent almost everyday together besides on weekends. The
most time spent together was at school. Are classes were almost the same. Maybe like 2 or 3 were
different. I feel like that would have put us in different classes the next year just because all we did
was talk, laugh, and sometimes not listen. Her 15th birthday she had a birthday party at the Blue
Chip Casino. It was her, me, Johnasia, Kivi, Kamille, and a couple more people. We sat on the bed
most of the time playing games like, truth or dare or never have I ever. Music was playing and Milly
and Kivi both got up and started dancing. So that attracted everyone else to get up and dance. We all
were happy that night spending time with Milly for her birthday. One day after school Milly wanted

found the time to talk to him. He tells me that he is 12 years old and he has autism. I noticed when
he talks, he sometimes fumbles his words and shakes his hands. After having that one conversation
with him, I find him by my side now 24/7. He tells me about his family, his pets, his town, and
everything else that comes to his mind. Sometimes when he is tells me a story, I can't fully
understand all of his words, but I know whatever he is talking about, he has passion about it because
he is always smiling and laughing when telling it. Nathan is a person who enjoys every minute of
everyday. He will talk to anyone and everyone. During every activity he will find his way over to
me. Even when he is in a middle of a game he will find me. I will have to encourage him to get
involved in the sport. He always laughs and I have to push him back out on the court. At lunch, he
finds his way over to me and sits right beside me. He tells me stories about the sport he just played
which makes me laugh because he already told me these stories before. He asks me to help him
make his burger. As I help him put on his condiments, I look over at him and notice that he hasn't
stopped smiling since we sat down. I have never seen a happier kid than Nathan. After lunch, we
play Dodgeball and tennis. I learn that there are different rules to sports if you are in a wheelchair.
Watching the kids play tennis I think about how all these kids came from all over the United States
just to play sports for a week because they can't do it at home. After tennis, it is the end of the day
and it is time to say our goodbyes. Most of the campers' just wave and smile goodbye

Beach: A Narrative Fiction
Crunch! Crunch! Crunch! The snow sounded as I walked down the snowy white path. Winter, the
perfect time to go ice skating, and that's exactly what I was doing. The lake has frozen over and was
covered with snow. Yesterday my dad went down there and shoveled a huge part of snow so we
could ice skate. A mini skating rink, just for us, and completely free. It was around 11:00 am when I
started walking down from the cabin we were renting.
"Sara! Sara! Wait for me!" Kate yelled as she came running down the hill.
"What is it?" as I stop to look at her over my shoulder.
Just as I expected, she trotted through the white snow right past me. Her plan was to run right past
me and get to the lake first. Well isn't that nice. I turned back around and continued to walk through
the numbing snow. When I made it to the old cracked road, I looked left and right. No cars, I walked
across the snowless road. I made it to the lake. I went down the footprint ... Show more content on

My First Cruise
Like it was yesterday I remember my first vacation on a cruise. My Dad and I went on a three– day
long cruise to The Bahamas. I had never been on a cruise, so it was a new experience for me. We
needed to be in Tampa for our departure, so we drove the two hours from Orlando, Florida to Fort
Lauderdale, Florida. My Dad and I used this time to talk, make plans for the trip and think about our
upcoming adventures on the cruise.
We left while the sun was fully up and the sky was blue with fluffy white clouds; there was not a
sign of rain anywhere. We walked on the pier to where we had to board our cruise ship. Many cruise
ships were docked. Some were coming in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After what seemed like hours on the island of Nassau we arrived back on the ship.
On our journey back from the Bahamas, I wondered around the cruise by myself exploring the ships
various stairways and corridors. I remember over hearing someone say somewhere on the ship
there's a place just for teens to interact and chat. Luckily for me I found it effortlessly. As I entered
the humongous room the sound of music almost instantly fills my ears. I saw a cluster of

My Summer Vacation
Summer 2014, it was a memorial summer, the time between secondary and highschool, when you
have to say goodbye to your old friends and prepare to go to a new school, meet new friend, live in a
new environment. In class, I only hang out with 4 dudes, so we planned to have a summer trip to say
goodbye to each other. It supposed to be a 7 days trip, but we gotta cut it down to 4 because lack of
money. The first day of the trip was good, we had an amazng time, we checked in at the hotel very
late at night, I was very tired so I just jumped to bed instantly. Closed my eye, I can heard the the
sound of the wave outside because our hotel is next to the beach, I started to fall asleep, wait I felt
the wind coming toward me, no im falling down, I screamed, opened my eyes, it just a dream, I
checked the clock, it was 5:30am, nobody was there, "Oh!": I said, they must have gone to the port
by now, it was a idea of one of my friends, sailing overnight on a fisher–boat, I thought it was a
stupid idea so I refused and decided to stay at the hotel. I looked out of the window, the sun was
starting to rice, I opened the window, I can smell the sea, it was so peaceful, I can see some couples
walking, "This is heaven." I thought to myself. Picked up my phone, I went to the bathroom, locked
the door, I sat down on the toilet, played some pointless game on my phone, it was very hot in here
so I started to sweat a lot, usually I spent like 30 mins in the toilet just surfing the internet but this

Everday Naritive
Day 14,346
Today I am in a girls body. Her name is Rachel Levine. I access my memory to learn about her.
Competitive water skier, field hockey player, and lacrosse player. She lives in CT, but she is visiting
her father in Washington, DC. I already know that I am far away from Rhiannon. I go onto my
phone to check my emails. Nothing. I hear the footsteps of a baby. Rachel's baby sister, Dylan. I 'm
not a fan of babies but I have to admit, this one is pretty darn cute. She walks over to my bed andI
pick her up to place her next to me.
A woman, Monica, comes in. She says that we are leaving around 12 to go to aunt ashley 's. By the

road on to M st, which is where we planned on meeting. I go up to the barista and order a caramel
marchiotto, Rhiannon 's favorite. I access my memory to make sure that Rachel is not allergic to
anything.
I've made sure I do this to every person I am in ever since last year. I was in a boy 's body and I
didn't realize that he was allergic to certain soaps. I used the kind they provided at a restaurant and
my face swelled and throat closed and I ended up in the hospital.
I ordered a black coffee which is the only thing Rachel likes. I get the coffees and go to a table in the
back corner. Rhiannon arrives and I signal her over. She sits down and asks questions about who I
am today. Our conversation today was pretty basic. She explains what is going on between her and
Justin. We continue to talk until I get a text from Rachel's father saying that dinner will be ready
soon and I need to come back. We say our goodbyes and I make my way back to the house. Dylan is
starting to get hungry, so I walk faster.
Rachel's family and I have a meal of steak and mashed potatoes. We soon leave and get into the car.

Personal Narrative: A Parent's Funeral
A time when I felt really sad was last christmas. It was christmas eve morning, and my mom got a
call, I looked at her and I knew something was wrong, I was so scared to see what she was gonna
say, did someone die, what happened? I didn't know, she was on the phone for about 15 minutes, it
was driving me nuts, I didn't know who she was talking about or talking to, she just kept say "oh my
gosh", and "really". She finally got off the phone, she sat there in shock for a few seconds, I didn't
want to sound pushy or rude, but I wanted to know what was going on. She finally started talking,
she looked at my dad, and started talking. I remember her words like it was yesterday. "Uncle Dave

The funeral started and I didn't cry at the beginning. I sat over in the corner and listened to great
stories about my uncle, he really was a good man. As I sat there, I kept going over in my head how
many times I had seen him, and it wasn't that many times, he lived close, why didn't I go see him
more often, I started regretting everything. Right when I finished thinking about how I'm a bad
person, and should have seen him more, they started calling up rows to say one more goodbye. I was
proud of myself, I was trying to be strong for my mom and sister, I didn't want to cry. My sister and
I walked up together. We were 3rd in line, we were getting closer and closer, I felt it, the feeling you
get. I started to choke up, I coughed a little bit. By the time we were 2nd in line, I had totally lost it,
forget being strong, I wanted to get down on my knees and just apologize for everything, I know it
wasn't, but it felt like it was my fault, everything. We said our goodbyes and walked away, we were
family so we got a back private room, I went in there and started bawling. Someone else from my
family walked in, I don't even remember who it was, all I know is I needed someone to cry on. They
walked over and gave me a hug, I cried for about 5 minutes, and then pulled myself together. I kept

Jacob's Rhiannon: A Narrative Fiction

I was happy to see her. She wasn't so to see me. She explained her and Justin were in another fight
and told her that I loved her, but she brushed me off. She still wasn't used to my vessel change yet,
but I don't think she will ever adjust. When we left the small pizza shop she had to get back to class
so I walked her back. I could tell she still hadn't lightened up yet and I wondered if she would email

suspicious of where I go off to all the time, but he never says anything and neither do my friends. I
don't understand why A chose to want to be with me and I don't think I could ever be with it, it can
be a girl or a boy and I can never know which it will be for the day and I will never be able to love it
as a girl, I will never be able to love A in any case because not only do I have Justin I want to have a
normal life. Sometimes I wonder if A is right. It was in Justin's head after all it knows just what he
thought about me. I wonder that if I was with A if it all would fall into place. I realize this is
unrealistic though, I could never handle A's constant changing and I could never have the life I want
with it. I do want to stay friends with it though, A is always there for me. Nathan I don't know what
had control of me or why. What could have left me by the side of the road like that and force me to

Face Everything And Rise
Face Everything And Rise Strength (n.) ~ the quality or state of being strong. Life pushes us to be
our best through the many tests and trials. These trials teach us lessons, along with making us
stronger. Each and everyone 's tests are different. Such as peer pressure, problems with self–image
or even learning how to carry on after a loved one has passed. During the Autumn of seventh grade
my Grandfather passed away and even though I 'm sad about this it 's made me stronger. It was a
hard test, but without the lessons I learned I wouldn 't be who I am today. In the end the term oil we
face is worthwhile. It 's not the breaths you take that matter, but the moments that take your breath
away. To me and countless others this is an important motto for life. When my Papa Jim passed
away, I was taught to live by these words. When our journey is over the shiny new sports car, big
houses or even your social rank won 't matter. The memories you made on your adventure of life
will be the only thing you and anyone else cares about. Papa Jim was the grandparent I took to the
most on my Dad's side. He the one who loved me like his own. My Grandmother took some time
getting used to me given that I wasn 't her biological child and she didn 't want to get attached for
the fear of losing me. Whereas, the first time I met Papa Jim he gave me a big hug and took me on
his tractor to see his bunnies. No matter what I was going to be his granddaughter. This memory will
be something that

It's unbelievable how much you don't know about the game you've been playing all your life, that
was a quote by the man himself. I was honored to be asked to speak on behalf of Mickey by his
lovely wife; Merlyn and his sons; Billy, Mickey jr., David, and Danny. Mickey was a very humble
and caring individual, he did not like all the publicity he received, not because of his shyness, but
because he never thought of himself as some kind of superhero or someone who was the best at
what they did, he always kept it in the back of his mind that there was someone working twice as
hard as him to be the best. Mickey never accepted the fact that what he did was good enough. Even

women then bent down so the lioness could say goodbye to her little brother.
Tyrion looked at everything with wonder, seeing as he had never been out of his nursery before. He
found his sister and smiled, giggling, reaching his hands out to her. Joella smiled back and kissed his

"Goodbye, Tyrion, I'll miss you," Joella said before hugging Ally and kissing his head again. As she

his brother began to laugh again.
The last person Joella said goodbye to was her Uncle Gerion. Gerion was standing behind Ally, with
his hands behind his back and had a wide smile. Joella ran over to him, and when she reached him,
he bent to her level.
"I do believe that I might just have a gift for you, my little Ella," he said. Joella giggled just a bit.
Gerion cocked his head to the side and asked "Would you like me to give it to you?" he asked her.
Joella nodded vigorously, laughing at her uncle. Gerion then showed Joella what was in his hands.
"Kittens!" Joella said with glee.

My First Day Of School
I remember the day so vividly, like it was yesterday. My family and I lived in a small, two story
house, in the middle of town. I woke up that morning, for my very first day of school. I got out of
bed and walked past my little brothers room, then past my parents and to the bathroom. I showered,
brushed my and then my teeth. I walked back to my room and got ready for my first day of school. I
had just turned three and my mom wanted to put me in preschool right away. I walked down the
spiral staircase, ( my favorite part of the house). When I got down stairs my mom was making
breakfast. My little sisters and brother awake, with my mom down stairs waiting for me. My
younger brother and sister were waiting at the table for me. My mom set down my other little sister
in her playpen. She then came to the kitchen, and gave me and my little sister and brother are
breakfast. My mom asked me if I was ready for my first day of school and I said yes. I was so
excited for that day. My siblings and I ate are breakfast, then we went outside to wait for the bus to
pick me up. It was a quite chilly day. The wind was blowing that day. And the old weeping willow
tree was swaying in the wind. The back yard had a wooden fence around it. And the front had a wire
fence around it. The bus finally came to get me. As I walked to get on the bus my sister and brother
waved goodbye. My best friend and I walked to the buys together. The bus was a little one, only
about five seats. It was yellow and had stickers all over it, very colorful.
When my friend and I got on the bus, we sat next to each other. The bus stopped at a couple more
stops. Finally after being on the bus for what felt like a decade, we were at the school. My friend
and I walked into school together, very excited. There was a little P.E. room and a hallway full of
doors. The walls were covered in paintings and drawings. My friend and I walked into the
classroom. We were greeted with open arms. The teachers showed us around. Then we went and put
are things away. There were many shelves full of books. There were a couple tables and chairs.
Then it was time time learn. We all sat in a circle around the whiteboard and learned our ABC's and

When I 'm Gone?
When I'm Gone
It all started out on July–23–2014, when my mother told me she and my father were getting a
divorce, and that we were moving from Owatonna, Minnesota to San Diego. I remember that day
like it was yesterday, how I felt, how I felt like I would never stop crying, and confused about what
was going to happen. I remember hearing what my mother 's voice sounded like I knew something
bad happened, that my father got in an accident or died, or that my dog had gotten hit by a car, or
someone died. But all my assumptions were incorrect no one died no one got hurt besides me , my
mother , and father. I remember as soon as my mother said the word Divorce, I instantly started
bursting into tears.
As a couple days passed by I asked my mother if we were going to keep my animals, Luke and Leia
our Siberian huskies, and Tazz our cat. She said no, and things got even worse, I felt like I should
just end my life now to make all the pain go away. But, I took a deep breath, and I said to myself
"You need to keep going no matter how hard things get, carry on."
"Pack all the big things in the boxes", my mother said doing the same thing. Stripping my bed and
pillows and putting them in the boxes. Carefully placing all my toys in a box, and having to choose
seven of my stuffed animals. Most of our stuff was going to our car. I was worried that I wouldn't be
able to say goodbye to my friends, soon the week passed, and I only got to say goodbye to my two

Margots Narrative
The children looked at Margo's red face as she slowly stepped out of the closet. The tears were still
running down her cheeks. She walked closer and closer to her classmates as they backed away from
her. Suddenly she turned her body away from her classmates and walked toward their classroom in
silence. The children – almost as if in a trance – followed Margot to the classroom door where they
stopped. Poking their heads inside, they saw that Margot was sitting at her desk staring silently out
the window. The bell signaling the beginning of class blared, and all of the students stepped inside
the classroom and moved to their assigned seats. The teacher walked into the classroom and looked
around. As soon as she saw Margo, she asked. "Is there something any of you want to tell me?"

here," I suggested. " We are still waiting on Taylor, Cole and Donkey."
They sat down at the table and waited.
" I can't believe I'm back at Hogwarts, it feels like only yesterday that I got sorted into Gryffindor,"
he said.
They waited some more until finally,
" I'm here!!!!!!" screamed Donkey as he barged through the big brown doors, " Let's get this party
started. I'm starving,"
" Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but we still have to wait for Cole, and Taylor to get here," I
explained.
" Ughh" groaned Donkey. * * *
Finally, Cole and Taylor got there. " Hey guys, How's your thanksgiving so far?" asked Cole. " It's
great!

Remembering a Special Teacher - Sayville High School Research Paper

  • 1. Sayville High School Research Paper Last day of Sayville High School 2016 Everyone has times in their life when they have to say goodbye. It's often extremely difficult especially if they're saying goodbye to someone they care about. My last day of high school was a very bittersweet day because I knew I had to say goodbye to my favorite teacher, Mr. Hoss. Mr. Hoss was my global history and government teacher. He was a very special teacher and truly cared about his students. He knew that I struggled a lot in his classes and he never gave up on me. He also had what the two of us called "Hoss Power" which would come into action whenever I was feeling stressed out. He always knew how to make me feel better with his kind words. He also gave me a feeling of reassurance because he knew no matter how much school work I had to do, I would get it all done. By the time it got to the last period of the last day of school, most students often wanted to go hang out with their friends, or go home. Spending time with Mr. Hoss was much more important to my sister, Jamie and I. Prior to the last day of school, we told Mr. Hoss that we wanted to spend our last period of our last day of senior year together. I knew though when the time would come, it would be hard to leave, but I also knew it wouldn't be the last time I would see him. I remember it ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I wanted to make it a day worth remembering and I got my wish. I got to spend the final period of the day, with my favorite teacher. Mr. Hoss was always there for me and he proved to me how much he cared over the years by continuing to have faith. That is something I will never forget about him. All of the happiness he had brought me that day and over the years will always mean so much to me. High school goes by very quick and before you know it, you are graduating. I wanted to make my last day of senior year memorable, and I got exactly what I have ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. Death Grief And Bereavement Research Paper The impact of death, grief and bereavement has different effects for diffferent people. Some cope with the loss of a loved one in a variaety of ways. Even though it may be a very difficult period, some people actually find some kind of personal growth during the grieving process. It can give them time to think about their own life and a need to improve themselves to live a more purposeful life in the event that they should face death also. However, there is absolutely no correct way in coping with death, grief and bereavement. I, however, did not cope with death too well. The moment when I found out about my grandmothers death is something I remember like it was yesterday. Let me start from the beginning. It was a normal day, coming near ... • 5. Examples Of Dehumanization In Night Dehumanization During The Holocaust During the holocaust, the germans saw the jews as a "tainted race", and saw them inferior to themselves. They also sought to kill off the jewish bloodline completely. The germans conducted inhumane forms of torture towards the jews, such as separation from their families and killing of family members, experimentation, and refusal of care. In the novel "Night", by Elie Wiesel, the author, an actual holocaust survivor, reveals the explicit details of the holocaust, as well as some of the personal struggles he experienced throughout the time of him being in a concentration camp. The holocaust brought out the worst of the jews personalities, and what went from Wiesel's tight knit community, went to every man for himself. In "Night", by Elie Wiesel, the author describes dehumanization in himself, his father, and fellow jews brought upon by the abuse and torture of the holocaust. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As Wiesel is deported to a concentration camp, we can see how his personality begins to alter, through him making comments questioning his faith, as well as sympathy, especially towards his father. His father takes abuse from the german officers for the first time in front of Wiesel, and he says "I stood petrified. What happened to me? My father had been struck in front of me and I hadn't blinked;... only yesterday I would've dug my nails into the criminals flesh." This was also reflected on the death of Wiesel's father, where there was seemingly no remorse, or as he puts it, a relief that his father was gone. " I did not weep. It pained me that I could not weep. But I was out of tears. And deep inside me, if I could have searched the recesses of my feeble conscience, I might have found something like: Free at ... • 7. Christopher Wallace Meaning After listening to the song, you could tell that it had significant meaning in history and impacted the lives of many listeners who had just lost a special friend or family member. This is indicated by these sentences in the lyrics; 'Seems like yesterday we used to rock the show', '...you're gone', 'The night they took my friend', 'you still livin' your life after death', 'I'll be missing you', 'Thinking of the day, When you went away, What a life to take, What a bond to break', '... hard with you not around', '...you in heaven smilin' down' and 'Watchin' us while we pray for you'. This song is a tribute to "The Notorious B.I.G."; Christopher Wallace, also known as "Biggie smalls", who was murdered on March 9, 1997, at the age of 24. The song was released a month after his death (the same year), and became a number 1 hit all over the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... As they were colleagues, they were close friends, so the assassin of Wallace hit Puff Daddy hard. He therefore wanted to write and record a song, in order to express his sorrow, and other feelings. This you know because Puff Daddy several times explains his feelings, ex. 'Life ain't always what it seem to be'– meaning that Wallace's death was completely unexpected, he was just suddenly gone, and Puff could never give him a proper 'goodbye'. You could find out that Puff still is dealing with the loss of his friend; 'My thoughts big I just can't define', and can't really believe the fact that he's gone forever from his life; 'Still can't believe you're gone'. The only strength, the only thing keeping his hope– that his friend always will be there for him, he's always in his heart; 'Till the day we meet again, In my heart is where I'll keep you friend', and that one day he will see him again, is their memories; 'Memories give me the strength I need to proceed, Strength I need to believe', 'You and me taking flicks', Making hits stages they receive you ... • 11. Essay On The Ghost The church bells awoke the town on an icy November morning. I, however, had been on my morning stroll around the town for the past hour. I was pleased when I approached the sheriffs office to use as shelter from the cold, and to deliver freshly baked bread. As I opened the door I was immediately greeted by the sound of whispers and Caroline–the sheriff's wife–franticly rushing towards me. "Edyth! Did you come alone?" Her voice sounded urgent as she dug her hands into my arms. "Yes, yes, just as I always do, Caroline. What happened?" Her rosy cheeks went pale. "You haven't heard?" "No, Caroline. "Well, I do believe that was smart of her. Better you home, safe, with me, than out and about alone with this maniac on the loose!" Just as he finished speaking, the sound of footsteps approached the door. The voice of Mr. Ben Fitzgerald almost immediately gave an identity to the steps. "Clark! Edyth! Open up!" Clark reached for the door. "What do you need now, Fitz?" "Hello to you too! I have a proposal to make. May I come in?" His voice was fairly happy. "Yes, come on in. Would you like some tea? I will go make some tea." The annoyance in Clark's voice as he walked away was obvious. As he made the tea, I sat Fitz down in the chair next to the fireplace. "Edyth, how are you today?" He looked up at me with eyes full of curiosity for such a small question. "As well as can be expected, given the news." "Yes, I understand." He looked at the fire now, immensely focused in thought. We stayed in silence–in thought about this subject–until Clark returned with the tea. "How are you, Fitz?" "Fine. How are you, Clark?" "Fine also. You, however, seem to unusually chipper today to seem 'fine'. May I ask why you are chipper on a day like today?" "I am not chipper, I found one thing about this entire situation to be exited about. • 13. Personal Narrative Analysis Yesterday, my travels began. I said goodbye to all my friends, finished packing my bags, and drove to SFO. I ate dinner at the Virgin lounge and then my mom walked me through security to my gate. As we went down the escalator, I realized that this was it. I had talked about this day for over a year; I anticipated what it would feel like to say good bye to my parents and not see them again for many weeks. I wasn't nervous because I knew everything would be fine, but it was still sad to say goodbye. My mom hugged me one last time before I finally embarked on my adventure. A man from Virgin then escorted me onto the plane an directed me toward my seat. I sat down, organized my area and then started to watch a movie. The familiar feeling of the ... • 15. The And Fathers, Sisters And Brothers, Sons And Daughters Mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, sons and daughters, Thank you for joining me here today as we celebrate the life of Ruth Smith. As a daughter, sister, and mother herself, Ruth has lived in our hearts and shall live there forever. While I am not a member of the clergy, I am certainly a man of faith and as such, I would ask that all who feel so inclined, please join me in reciting the Lord's Prayer. All things in life change. And as Ruth has made the transition from her physical body to return to our Father's side, so now must we make the transition from being in her loving company to carrying her in our minds and hearts. It is a time for us to say goodbye, but it is also a time for us to say hello! We say goodbye to the physical shell she leaves behind, but we greet our relationship with her soul as it joins with God in His Kingdom and lives inside all of His children here on earth. For it is through the grace of God that the dead do not die. They live forever, in God's mind and in ours. And so it is this day that our service is twofold: We are here to release our burdens, our fears, and our pain. We are here that Ruth should be released from the torment and turmoil that had come to be far too much of her daily life as her horrible condition ravaged her mind. Yet we also open our hearts today, that our relationships with her might be reborn through the grace of God. Whom God hath given to us, no one and nothing can take away. Whom He brings together ... • 19. Narrative Essay : A Beautiful Day It was a warm, perfect September morning. All was right with Mrs. Johnson. She had her hair all done up and she had her favorite dress on. It was light red. It was the same color as the trees that were starting to change. The sun had come up and it shined beautifully through the kitchen window, which exposed the delicious breakfast she had prepared. After saying goodbye to Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Johnson left her home with a bright shining smile on her face. It was going to be a great day. Every day, Mrs. Johnson stops at a small shop to get some jellybeans. She gets a baggy and fills it with as many jellybeans as possible. She puts the baggy in her purse after she pays. She gave the cashier an extra 50c because she had smiled back at Mrs. Johnson. She always took a new route so she would see new people and new places everyday. Yesterday, she went to the eastern part of the city. Today, she will go to the western side. As she walked, she she noticed everyone's hurried, stressed, and angry faces. Yet, she smiled at everybody she passed. One young lady looked particularly hurried and tired. "Hello! What a beautiful day it is!" Mrs. Johnson said as she made her way to the young woman. "What? Oh, yes," The young woman continued walking, this time a little quicker. "You seem very tired. May I help you in any way?" Mrs Johnson walked quicker too so she could keep up with her. • 23. A Brief Essay : The Causes Of The War? Intro Hello to whoever is reading this. I have decided to start writing down events of my days. Day 1 It has been only 2 months. A lot has happened. A lot has changed. Life was better before now... before the war. Mum was alive then. Dad and I miss her, we miss her a lot. There are still signs of her around the house. That's another thing I miss, the house before the bombing. It destroyed our front porch and my bedroom. The roof also leaks. The only thing dad and I gained off of this war is a good friend. Martin was a handyman. He lived a street away from us but the bombing completely destroyed his house killing his only child. He lived with us now. He became family. I think we are going alright. Well apart from Dad, he has a nasty cut ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Dad arrived back home eventually with fresh a fresh bandage and stitches. He didn't seem happy though. But I guess none of us are these days. The best feeling is seeing dad come home. Just before he comes there is always the fear that he wasn't coming back. He brought me some pills for my stomach, but I think his term "borrowed" meant he stole them. Martin got sad and annoyed about it. He wasn't angry just sad and disappointed. We have got low on food. Martin found out he enjoys cooked spam with old potatoes. Nothing really happened today, we just worked on bits and pieces. Dad slept. I'm about to go to bed. Martin just left the house he is planning on bringing some food back. I hope he does we are all starving. Day 4 Just ate the last bit of jerky. Dad offered it to me. He said he wasn't hungry. I'm a little bit thirsty but I'll be fine. We will wait until Martin gets home. Update; Martin made it home. He brought no food only tears and a bloody axe. He said he killed a man and the man's son. They had him cornered at the old church. They weren't just normal people, they were the ones that come to life in times like these. Going around and terrorising people, stealing and killing. I think they are called bandits. It didn't matter who they were, Martin was very upset about it. I have this horrible feeling in me about Martin, but I haven't lost trust. I'm sure if he didn't do what he had done he wouldn't be here with us now. Day 8 A lot has ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

I believe God has been giving me a lot of battles lately. One of my battles was on December the nineteenth, when I had gastric sleeve bypass surgery in Oxford, MS. A month passed, and I was doing wonderful. Then I had to go back in the hospital for gallbladder surgery. It has been almost eight months, and I have lost over eighty pounds. It has made me feel like a new person. Another battle I have faced is my brother being in the Navy. He has been enlisted for almost three years. • 27. Life Essay : The Day That Changed My Life I remember it like it was yesterday, the day that changed my life forever. On March 9th of 2011, my mom was diagnosed with skin cancer in her lung. The doctor gave her about six months to live and this is how it went. It was a normal day, after school we got a text to come straight home right, no big deal right? I walked up the steps, dreading every step I took because she's going to make me do dishes or something. I'm going to have to do a set of chores before I can leave again, normal day like I said. Little did I know, I would dreaded this day a lot more than expected. Once I seen the look on her face, I knew it wasn't just dishes. She began to tell us to not be scared ,but she won't be here for long. She has cancer and with only six months to live. I was in disbelief, shocked and all I could think is "how could you leave me like this?", selfish right? I remember going down the stairs to sit in her car ,but she was too sick to drive, therefore, it would become mine. I sat there replaying a new Eminem CD over and over and over. So this is the beginning of a life–changing experience, your sweet 16 is supposed to be the best year of your childhood. Unfortunately, I will forever remember my 16 as the last year I kissed my mom , the last year I got to tell her something about my day and the last year she made me do dishes. • 29. Descriptive Essay I had only been to Nabir once. I was traveling to another plane when I discovered I had accidentally deviated from the normal route, landing myself in an unfamiliar place. The Nabirians wore elaborately engraved tags around their necks that varied between bright neon to modest bland colors, all of which had numerical values inscribed upon them. The people minded their own business, kept polite conversations, and talked in smooth voices; a refreshing change to the other unscrupulous planes I had visited in the past. I was enticed, however, by how incredibly intelligent the people on the plane appeared to be – though I soon found that conversing with a Nabir native could be quite undesirable and mostly one sided. The first time I had met a native was while walking to the bathroom. I had made the innocent mistake of greeting her good day. She turned her gaze towards me to smile amiably and proceeded to regurgitate a slew of information at me. I registered a few words in the midst of my bewilderment, but most of her language was obscure and convoluted – the kind in the English lexicon one would find buried in a dictionary, and after five continuous minutes of the woman 's monotonous voice, I hastily bade her goodbye and shuffled past her. Nabir was the only plane that had a visitor center. In fact, it was the only visitor center that played what appeared to be three different recordings of lectures at once, which resulted in a cacophonous echoing in the large ... The aroma of coffee permeated the market 's air. As we were walking, I stopped after identifying some fascinating small portrait sneaking at the corner of a chair. "Wait, I need to see something," I beamed to Aika. She whipped her head and when I looked, shooting one last glance toward her, she shooed me with her right hand in the air. Then, she indicated she was going to grab some cappuccino from Starbuck located in the middle of the street. I gave her the signal and diverted my attention on the miniature. I edged slowly into the chair and I crouched down to pick the portrait, to get a better look. My eyes irresistibly draw to the crack at the center of the portrait. I put it back, with my brown eyes lit up at the price tag, who had introduced into shrinking cost. I walked away from the stall and as I rambled down the street to rejoin Aika. I saw a diary located on the sidewalk. It was bounded by brown paper, twine wrapped around it and a dusty plastic flower at the center. I took a step to pick it up on the highest shelf. Then my heart began to hammer in my ribcage, as I slid the flower on the right side, eyes widened to the name written in swirly black ink, it was my name. These past couple months have been horrible for me. She is all I think about on a daily basis. Everything I do is for her. I remember this day like it was yesterday. All the tears, memories, laughs, conversations. Kamilion Jenkins meant a lot to a whole bunch of people. She was filled with laughter, love, smiles, everything you can think of. All the memories we had together, the night I heard the bad news, and the day we said our last goodbyes are the days I won't ever forget. Me and Milly had a lot of memories together. We spent almost everyday together besides on weekends. The most time spent together was at school. Are classes were almost the same. Maybe like 2 or 3 were different. I feel like that would have put us in different classes the next year just because all we did was talk, laugh, and sometimes not listen. Her 15th birthday she had a birthday party at the Blue Chip Casino. It was her, me, Johnasia, Kivi, Kamille, and a couple more people. We sat on the bed most of the time playing games like, truth or dare or never have I ever. Music was playing and Milly and Kivi both got up and started dancing. So that attracted everyone else to get up and dance. We all were happy that night spending time with Milly for her birthday. I quickly replay the meeting we had the week before in my head. During the meeting, Deb, the leader of the camp told us about the background history of the camp, what to do, and what the rules are for camp. Wheelchair camp is held at GVSU and is ran by the Mary Freebed. I was told that this camp is for kids who are in wheelchairs that want to play sports. She said there are two main rules for camp. Rule two: When lifting a camper from one chair to another, make sure one person holds the campers' arms while the other person moves ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This camper is wearing a blue Grand Valley t–shirt who has dark brown eyes that matched his short brown hair. He sees me looking at him and he gives me a smile. His smile contained bright blue braces. When it was his turn to introduce himself, he told us that his name is Nathan. Later today, I found the time to talk to him. He tells me that he is 12 years old and he has autism. I noticed when he talks, he sometimes fumbles his words and shakes his hands. After having that one conversation with him, I find him by my side now 24/7. He tells me about his family, his pets, his town, and everything else that comes to his mind. Sometimes when he is tells me a story, I can't fully understand all of his words, but I know whatever he is talking about, he has passion about it because he is always smiling and laughing when telling it. Nathan is a person who enjoys every minute of everyday. He will talk to anyone and everyone. During every activity he will find his way over to me. Even when he is in a middle of a game he will find me. I will have to encourage him to get involved in the sport. He always laughs and I have to push him back out on the court. At lunch, he finds his way over to me and sits right beside me. He tells me stories about the sport he just played which makes me laugh because he already told me these stories before. He asks me to help him make his burger. As I help him put on his condiments, I look over at him and notice that he hasn't stopped smiling since we sat down. I have never seen a happier kid than Nathan. After lunch, we play Dodgeball and tennis. I learn that there are different rules to sports if you are in a wheelchair. Watching the kids play tennis I think about how all these kids came from all over the United States just to play sports for a week because they can't do it at home. Such as peer pressure, problems with self–image or even learning how to carry on after a loved one has passed. During the Autumn of seventh grade my Grandfather passed away and even though I 'm sad about this it 's made me stronger. It was a hard test, but without the lessons I learned I wouldn 't be who I am today. In the end the term oil we face is worthwhile. It 's not the breaths you take that matter, but the moments that take your breath away. To me and countless others this is an important motto for life. When my Papa Jim passed away, I was taught to live by these words. When our journey is over the shiny new sports car, big houses or even your social rank won 't matter. The memories you made on your adventure of life will be the only thing you and anyone else cares about. Papa Jim was the grandparent I took to the most on my Dad's side. He the one who loved me like his own. My Grandmother took some time getting used to me given that I wasn 't her biological child and she didn 't want to get attached for the fear of losing me. Whereas, the first time I met Papa Jim he gave me a big hug and took me on his tractor to see his bunnies. No matter what I was going to be his granddaughter. This memory will be something that ... • 59. Mickey Research Paper It's unbelievable how much you don't know about the game you've been playing all your life, that was a quote by the man himself. I was honored to be asked to speak on behalf of Mickey by his lovely wife; Merlyn and his sons; Billy, Mickey jr., David, and Danny. Mickey was a very humble and caring individual, he did not like all the publicity he received, not because of his shyness, but because he never thought of himself as some kind of superhero or someone who was the best at what they did, he always kept it in the back of his mind that there was someone working twice as hard as him to be the best. Mickey never accepted the fact that what he did was good enough. Even these last few months he gave it all he could possibly give. Mickey wanted to be remembered as a great teammate, father, husband, friend, brother, and son. Mickey will be remembered for much more than those very few ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Although Mick did not like to think of himself as better than anyone else or more superior to anyone else in lots of ways he was. Mick was a great husband and a great father, he never let anything get in the way of him spending time with his family and friends. Mick leaves behind much more than his baseball career, he leaves behind an image of what a true human hero is like and how to be humble even when it is hard to be. My favorite memory is I remember Mickeys last game and last hit which you guessed it a homer, in yankee stadium like it was yesterday; we were playing the kansas city A's, we were down by three, I was on third, a guy on second and a man on first, it was the last inning, Mick was up this was his last game and boy did he make it a remarkable and honoring ending. Mick hit his farthest ever home run, 503 feet bomb. We won the game and Micks career was over we all celebrated and all realized it wasn't just another Major League Player ending his career, it was ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

"I will, and I'll read him all your letters too," he told her. "Thank you, Jaime," Joella said smiling. They pulled apart and looked at each other. "Take care, little sister," Jaime said, Joella smiled and nodded. She then walked over to Ally, and the older women then bent down so the lioness could say goodbye to her little brother. Tyrion looked at everything with wonder, seeing as he had never been out of his nursery before. He found his sister and smiled, giggling, reaching his hands out to her. Joella smiled back and kissed his forehead. "Goodbye, Tyrion, I'll miss you," Joella said before hugging Ally and kissing his head again. As she walked away, Tyrion began to cry, as if he knew that it would a very long time before he saw her again. But his cries were soon stopped when he saw his big brother. Jaime tickled Tyrion's chin and his brother began to laugh again. The last person Joella said goodbye to was her Uncle Gerion. Gerion was standing behind Ally, with his hands behind his back and had a wide smile. Joella ran over to him, and when she reached him, he bent to her level. "Not quite," her uncle said "Look ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 63. My First Day Of School I remember the day so vividly, like it was yesterday. My family and I lived in a small, two story house, in the middle of town. I woke up that morning, for my very first day of school. I got out of bed and walked past my little brothers room, then past my parents and to the bathroom. I showered, brushed my and then my teeth. I walked back to my room and got ready for my first day of school. I had just turned three and my mom wanted to put me in preschool right away. I walked down the spiral staircase, ( my favorite part of the house). When I got down stairs my mom was making breakfast. My little sisters and brother awake, with my mom down stairs waiting for me. My younger brother and sister were waiting at the table for me. My mom set down my other little sister in her playpen. She then came to the kitchen, and gave me and my little sister and brother are breakfast. My mom asked me if I was ready for my first day of school and I said yes. I was so excited for that day. My siblings and I ate are breakfast, then we went outside to wait for the bus to pick me up. It was a quite chilly day. The wind was blowing that day. And the old weeping willow tree was swaying in the wind. The back yard had a wooden fence around it. And the front had a wire fence around it. The bus finally came to get me. As I walked to get on the bus my sister and brother waved goodbye. My best friend and I walked to the buys together. The bus was a little one, only about five seats. It was yellow and had stickers all over it, very colorful. When my friend and I got on the bus, we sat next to each other. The bus stopped at a couple more stops. Finally after being on the bus for what felt like a decade, we were at the school. My friend and I walked into school together, very excited. There was a little P.E. room and a hallway full of doors. The walls were covered in paintings and drawings. My friend and I walked into the classroom. We were greeted with open arms. The teachers showed us around. Then we went and put are things away. There were many shelves full of books. There were a couple tables and chairs. Then it was time time learn. We all sat in a circle around the whiteboard and learned our ABC's and ... • 65. When I 'm Gone? When I'm Gone It all started out on July–23–2014, when my mother told me she and my father were getting a divorce, and that we were moving from Owatonna, Minnesota to San Diego. I remember that day like it was yesterday, how I felt, how I felt like I would never stop crying, and confused about what was going to happen. I remember hearing what my mother 's voice sounded like I knew something bad happened, that my father got in an accident or died, or that my dog had gotten hit by a car, or someone died. But all my assumptions were incorrect no one died no one got hurt besides me , my mother , and father. I remember as soon as my mother said the word Divorce, I instantly started bursting into tears. As a couple days passed by I asked my mother if we were going to keep my animals, Luke and Leia our Siberian huskies, and Tazz our cat. She said no, and things got even worse, I felt like I should just end my life now to make all the pain go away. But, I took a deep breath, and I said to myself "You need to keep going no matter how hard things get, carry on." "Pack all the big things in the boxes", my mother said doing the same thing. Stripping my bed and pillows and putting them in the boxes. Carefully placing all my toys in a box, and having to choose seven of my stuffed animals. Most of our stuff was going to our car. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to say goodbye to my friends, soon the week passed, and I only got to say goodbye to my two best friends, who ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 69. Margots Narrative The children looked at Margo's red face as she slowly stepped out of the closet. The tears were still running down her cheeks. She walked closer and closer to her classmates as they backed away from her. Suddenly she turned her body away from her classmates and walked toward their classroom in silence. The children – almost as if in a trance – followed Margot to the classroom door where they stopped. Poking their heads inside, they saw that Margot was sitting at her desk staring silently out the window. The bell signaling the beginning of class blared, and all of the students stepped inside the classroom and moved to their assigned seats. The teacher walked into the classroom and looked around. As soon as she saw Margo, she asked. "Is there something any of you want to tell me?" Margot looked up and responded with, "I just miss the sun." Her words hit each of her classmates like a truck. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... That day all Margot did was look out the window wishing the sun would come back. • 71. The Day After Christmas : A Christmas Day : Christmas And... The day was cold and dry, but if you had the right view, sun and light was all you could see. It was the day after Christmas and all were tired and dreary, well, all except two. Through the gloomy day there were still people walking along the streets but not with their usual buzz. Then everything changed. Suddenly there was a loud cheer coming from the distance. It was a cheer of amusement. Two people came running quickly–– a man and a boy. Their names were Ebenezer Scrooge and Tiny Tim and they were the only people who could be joyful on this dark, cloudy day. Although Christmas day was a tiring day for Scrooge after spending the day at his nephew's house, there was no way to avoid the happiness and love for Christmas and life that had ... Scrooge left and walked back to Scrooge and Marley's. It had been suggested to him to change the names on the sign, but he wanted to keep Marley with him and a part of the business. Scrooge wouldn't slave over the business anymore, for it was Marley who had helped him and who saved him too. Without Marley, Scrooge would most likely be dead. After finishing his work he walked home. It wasn't a long walk, but it seemed so. He looked at his door knocker where it had all begun and tried to remember that night that felt so long ago. It had only been two nights, no more, but it felt like forever. Scrooge remembered how every spirit had come–– Past, Present and Future. He remembered Marley again and how amazed he was to be seeing a ghost that night. He knew that he had so much to thank Marley for, whether or not he had understood it at that moment. He recognized that Marley was responsible for him becoming the man he was now, kinder and, more generous and he could never thank him enough for any of that. Marley taught Scrooge that all of his actions have consequences. When Scrooge heard that from a friend it was meaningful because the influences around us can change us. He hoped that he would not lose what Marley had taught him because Marley ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

On that plane was Kyleigh, on her way to see me in New York, but I wasn't greeted with her usual hug, but with the news of her passing. Her mom said it was a mechanical error in the left wing of the plane. I don't know what to do or think. I keep waiting for her to call, laughing, about how this was all a bad joke and how she was on her way to my apartment. I keep waiting and wishing I'll hear her voice, plagued with her giant smile that I can hear through the phone. Well, I guess it's now could hear through the phone (What a difference it makes going from present to past tense in just a matter of seconds). I know that's a call I won't be getting soon. Or ever. And I think I was able to make coach Rouse proud, but I know that I can do better," he assures me. I catch a glimmer in his eyes that I had not noticed before. I think it is hunger, he really wants that title and is willing to work hard for it. But so is everybody else, whether it is as simple as cheering his name as he crosses the finish line, or coaching him through four years of blood, sweat, and tears to get him where he is today. I think that is the key to the culture of Como Park's track and field team, the group's shared dedication to superb personal growth and achievement. It is not an each individual ... The whole room smelled like turkey, ham, and pumpkin pie. " Mmm, it smells great in here," said Harry, as he walked through the big brown doors of the great hall. " Thanks Harry, I'm so glad you came, but why are you here so early?" I asked. " What do you mean I'm here early? I'm right on time, it's 4 o'clock. Where is everyone else?" He asked. "Thanksgiving dinner doesn't start until 5 o'clock. You must have read the invitation wrong." I answered. "Oh, whoops. I guess I can help you with whatever else you need to do before everyone else gets here," Harry offered. " I already have everything done, but you can keep me company while we wait for everyone to get here," I suggested. " We are still waiting on Taylor, Cole and Donkey." They sat down at the table and waited. " I can't believe I'm back at Hogwarts, it feels like only yesterday that I got sorted into Gryffindor," he said.
