tell up to twenty people. In very simple terms, bad news spreads rather quickly. Don't think for a

Waiting for my first lecture on "Advanced Word Morphology" last year, I
feared the worst. The lecturer, a plump and immaculately dressed man,

What Is Higher Education Public Or Private Good?
Higher education was first developed to educate the elite largely including those individuals training
in key professions like the ministry. Religious institutions established private universities and access
to higher education was not an issue of concern. Today, a university education is not reserved for
only the elite individuals training in a few select professions Conversations regarding access for all
instead of access for few are prevalent. In fact, the United States Government and states within are
establishing educational attainment goals for their citizens. President Obama has even said that by

On August 6, 1945, a bomb with the force of 20,000 tons of TNT, was dropped on the Japanese city

These decisions and actions leading to the ultimate end are classified as means. Aristotle's
foundation for personal happiness lies with the question about ends and means. He determines that
since happiness is the ultimate goal, or end, many different means can be used to achieve that goal.
For example, if someone wants a car, achieving that car becomes the ends, while the way they

Introduction
In the chapter "One good question" in Confessions of a Radical Industrialist, author Ray Anderson
(2010) alerts that even though industries (including his) were very successful in different aspects,
their actions were dangerous and were mistaken.
1) The Beginning of Interface
According to Anderson, Interface, a modern and innovative industry producing carpets tiles for
different needs, was founded in 1973 (p. 8). Interface was a fast, profitable and growing business
thanks to the concept of Carpet Tiles, which Anderson brought from his trip to England. In addition,
Anderson claims he was considered as a Hero with a very successful business, even though he
wasn't bothered by the fact of the drastic amount of energy his company was consuming (well
enough to power a city) (p. 8). Interface manufactured carpet tiles using a lot of oil–derived products
(Anderson, p.8). Anderson states that although all the pollution and waste Interface was generating,
the company meant progress for everyone, money, and it was totally legal in every aspect (p. 9).

In order to be classified as a good feminist, one must live up to the standards put forth by the
definition of feminism. I believe that the definition of feminism is the belief that all women are and

It is fine if you think you can live that way, but I know personally, I would not be able to follow
every single rule written by the feminist movement. The essay also touches on the subject of
essential feminism. Essential feminism in the essay is stated as "anger, humorlessness, militancy,

refers to the attribution of a fixed principle of women and how women should act. When other

rarely ever notice it. They are too busy trying to fight back with protests, which are great and get the
word across, but instead of protesting, actual work needs to get done. Legislation needs to be passed
in state and federal houses of Congress. That is really where it is going to hurt people, not words on

Everyone has done a good deed at one point in life. Some people do genuine good deeds, but others
do them for their own personal gains. In The Count of Monte Cristo, Alexandre Dumas expresses
the idea that "one good deed deserves another" using the characters, and their actions. He shows
how the characters at times do genuine and good deeds, and them doing good deeds for their own

The 2011 Customer Experience Impact Report projected that "86% of consumers will pay up to 25%
more for a better customer experience" (2). In the paragraphs below, good customer service is
broken down into the definition, what the customer and employer view is, and how good customer

According to Customer Service for Dummies, customer service is how well an employee is
communicating and creating a relationship with a customer (1). Each business has either a mission

Money Priming Effects The Level Of Support For Government...
Money is necessary to store wealth and complete transactions. This study investigates how money
priming effects the level of support for government goods and services and privatisation. To test
theories about money 306 first year psychology students completed a memory task which primed
them to think about money or acted as a control. They then rated the importance of different
government goods and services and privatisation options. The results opposed our hypothesis that
money priming would lead to less support for government services and more support for
privatisation, and that money priming would lead to less support for specific programmes compared
to universal programmes. The findings can be applied in making government referendums, as
money will not cause a change in the attitude of voters.

Everyday money is used to complete transactions, hold wealth and settle debts. Using money is
unavoidable and it plays an essential role in our day to day lives, but how does it affect the way we

But for those of you who don't, Blurryface is your greatest insecurities. He is your depression. Your
anxiety. Anything that you deal with, he is that inner voice that tells you that you won't make it and
you aren't strong enough to survive. I'm a 15 year old teenager, who as I like to call it, is mentally

It doesn't seem like it sometimes. It seems like there is no possible way anything can get better, but
if you focus on the minute, and make it to the next, you moved forward. You pushed back your

When Danticat is seven years old, her parents return to Haiti. Danticat's parents do everything is
possible to take their kids back and take them to live with them in New York. As soon as her parents
are in Haiti, they go to the consulate to file paperwork for Bob and Danticat's petition. At first,
Danticat does not know how to react towards her parents' return. Besides the fact she and Bob have
not seen her parents in long time, now there are two more members in the family, Kelly and Karl.
Danticat does not pursue she feels rejected from her parents, but she recognizes that it is difficult for
her to express her feeling to her relatives. She is a caring person, although she is very young, she
cares about other people's feelings. She thinks that if she tells her parents how much she misses
them she would hurt them or make them feel guilty for leaving her in Haiti, so she decides to keep

Galston (2013) claims that idea of the common good "has real content in theory and real utility in
practice", throughout his essay on the common good, he provides sufficient evidence to back his
main claim and he uses it to refute the arguments of others. He defines three key aspects of the
common good to support his claim of the common good having "real content in theory", these
