Traditions throughout culture change with time, yet in most instances, a handful of people refuse to change their methods or beliefs. In "Dead Man's
Path," Chinua Achebe creates a changing society and presents a group of people who are unwilling to change their way of life and adapt. Achebe uses
symbols, allusions, characters, and setting development to give the reader an interpretation of the changes made throughout society that creates a
conflict between a new generation and an old generation.

In 1949, many African nations began their surge for independence, and the native people did not accept the social modifications forced upon them. The
revelation of the setting comes through the name "Ndume Central School" which is a school located within the African nation of Nigeria (595). Later,
the setting reveals the deep divisions that take place in Africa at the time and allows the reader to understand why the villagers resists change. The
separation between the school and village symbolizes the division, and this separation captures a modern school fighting a traditional village. Obi
enforces the separation with the moving of the path and states that this new path should "[skirt] our premises" (597). The setting enhances the conflict
between the villagers and Obi because the Africans at the time resisted the change that Obi enforced within the school. The setting of the school and
village enhances the conflict because the school represents the transformation of society, while the village captures the stubborn, old way of living.
Achebe produces a theme throughout "A Dead Man's Path" based on the conflict of change through the path, a barbed wire fence, a biblical allusion,
and setting throughout the story. The literary devices allow for the reader to establish a strong interpretation of the effects of change and how people
within society refuse to adapt from their traditional ways. This story accurately captures the struggle between a new generation and traditional way of

Benefits Of A New Technique For Tie Over Dressing Essay
Tie–over dressing is the most common technique used to fix the skin graft to its recipient bed. In our study we use a new technique for tie over in the
form of multiple opposing simple loop stiches tied by rubber bands to allow reapplication of tie over if indicated without anesthesia. The study was
conducted on 20 patients presented by raw areas of variable etiologies, treated with skin grafting (STSG or FTSG) and simple loop stitch tie over
technique. The patients were followed up for 1–2 months. All grafts showed very good to excellent results as the skin graft take ranges from 75% to
100%. Complications were seen in 5 cases in one case was slipped one simple loop and the other 4 cases was local infection. We documented a novel,
simple, economic, time saving and applicable tie–over dressing that allows fixing and re–fixing of the skin grafts when needed to maintain a proper

Analysis Of Siegfried Sassoon 's ' The Great War '
Throughout history, many individuals would have never thought a horrific war would occur, which was World War 1 (The Great War). Many men
was picked to fight during this war, they thought that it was going to be an easy journey. However it did not end up going in the right direction, so it
took a left turn based on seeing fellow soldiers die before your eyes, the weather was always wet and muddy, and multiple firearms always pointing at
each other. Before the men began their journey into booby–traps of the war, many individuals encouraged them that fighting in the war was fun.
However, it was far from fun: many soldiers fought in trenches, many became shell shock, and many saw the world in a much more horrific view
when returning back home. A famous poet, Siegfried Sassoon, wrote an outstanding poem, which explained how soldier's mindset before entering the
war was encouraged by an authority figure. According to the poem 'They' it states, "The Bishop (authority) tells us: 'when the boys come back/ they
will not be the same" (1–2). This statement means that the Bishop is trying to say that after the war, men will be real men. These soldiers went into the
war singing or humming songs, but they soon realized the war was pure evil. Sassoon believed that the individuals fighting in The World War, tried to
