1. JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB PURPOSE
The Human Resources Specialist assists in the implementation of the Human Resources practices
and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance that emphasizes
employee engagement, empowerment, quality, productivity and standards in line with INDEX
Holding’s strategic plan, vision, mission, values goals and objectives.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY DUTIES
Processes Job Analysis, develops & maintains existing / new job descriptions,
Prepare and develop the job description template based on the nature of the divisions,
Prepares Annual reports, analyzing, and summarizing data of all HR activities,
Maintains HR Policies & Procedures and Employee Handbook,
Develops & maintains HR application forms such as recruitment approvals, leaves forms,
warning, promotion & salary adjustment forms, etc.
Coordinates recruiting, selection and employment process (e.g. writing/editing job
descriptions, advertising, processing applications, preparing screening criteria,
dministering/evaluating tests, scheduling interviews, etc.).
Controls, maintains manpower plan and prepares related monthly and weekly reports.
Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting
with managers to discuss needs.
Processes New employee orientation as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of ensuring
employees are knowledgeable of company policies & current practices processes.
Administrates disciplinary procedures,
Conducts investigations of employees for disciplinary matters, write reports regarding the
investigations and make discipline recommendations in consultation with the Managing
Director.
Provides employee relations support to employees by providing effective conflict resolution
advice and counseling,
Handling Visa Cancellations, Handovers and End of Service reports.
Develops a check list for all requirements and steps needed and generate weekly report for
accurate information.
Assists Managing Directors in all HR related issues.
Processes promotions and salary increments procedures.
2. OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS
Assist in developing the grading structure, salary scale, and business related policies and
procedures.
Assist with HR Coordinator Created and developed main staff data master sheet.
Assist in Employment Visa applications process.
Creates & develops a form of daily/weekly reports on a regular basis about the operation
and progress of HR Operations.
Assists HR Coordinator and PRO for ministry of labor visa procedures.
Handles related tasks as assigned by Managing Director of ISS.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience, Qualifications Knowledge & Skills
Experience:
• Minimum 4 years experience in similar HR expertise.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package with the ability to learn new software
applications.
• Good practice of communication and confidentiality protocol,
• Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with
confidential information
Qualifications & Knowledge:
• Masters Degree Graduate,
• Must be proficient and knowledge of UAE Labor Law.
• Knowledge of Company policies, procedures and systems,
• Work environment maturity and professionalism,
• Understanding of HR and employment issues relevant to HR,
Skills:
• Excellent report-writing, analytical skills with strong attention to details.
• Strong ability to multi-task and respond effectively to changing priorities and demands.
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to dealing with people,
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal,
