This website uses geometric lines and spaces to make its advantage. Generally, web developers can
utilize lines as a space or content divider and create attractive designs for backgrounds or header
images (South University Online, 2016). The Aquent website is a great example for this concept
which makes it appropriate for this page. This homepage includes many links, nevertheless,
navigation is not a problem since the links are clearly defined in both the header and footer. It is
more time consuming than usual to scroll through the homepage. Nonetheless, I am certain that the
design is still excellent and contends are laid out in an attractive manner. Once more the designers
have chosen the rectangle as the most used shape which helps to divide the different sections of the
page. Squares are used to link to different areas of the website. Aquent, being a talent acquisition
network, has chosen a layout and design that conforms to its expectations with its use of appropriate
colors, effective use of white spaces, relevant images and other elements to make the presentation
well–ordered and professional.

Website Analysis Paper
INTRODUCTION
The level of usability of a website is determined by how simple it is for a visitor to use and explore
a website (Stokes, 2013, p. 95). Eataly is a company that sells Italian products online and in their
various locations which also feature restaurants and activities that all relate to Italian food and
products. The purpose of this paper is to assess the level of usability of the Eataly website and how
four specific design topics, navigation, search options, professionalism, and breadcrumbs, impact
the usability.
NAVIGATION/CONSISTENCY
The navigation of a website determines how site users move about the site and how they get to the
page that contains the information that they are seeking. (Stokes, 2013, p. 95). An example of ...

The color scheme of the site is consistent across the site and is in line with the company's logo. The
site also doesn't have any features that would distract or intrude while using the site such as ads or
popups that ask for customer info. Another note is that links on the site that enable users to sign in
or check their order popup in an overlay of the current page when clicked instead of taking users to
a different page. An example of this is that when something is added to a shopping cart the site
doesn't force the user off the current page to go to the cart and the cart can also be viewed on any
page without leaving the current page.
BREADCRUMBS
A breadcrumb is a visual design element on websites, usually featured just below the header, that
shows users of the site where they are on the site and allows for them to be able to navigate the site
faster since it shows them previous page links (Domagalski, n.d.).
Breadcrumbs are utilized in the sites design on every page besides the home page. The breadcrumbs
are located right below the far–left side of the sites header but are not sticky like the header. The
usage of breadcrumbs allows users of the site to quickly see which page they are located on and see
which pages led them to it and go back to those pages quickly. An example of this is on the delicate
olive oil page that shows the following breadcrumb: "Home > Extra Virgin Olive Oil >

Website Ownership Essay
Most small or large business owners are experts in their given field; therefore, they choose to hire
experts in other fields. When you purchase a TV from Sam's, you expect it to come with all of the
components. If the power plug or the remote control is missing, you call the store for the missing
part. When you buy a chicken salad from McDonalds, you expect the chicken to be a part of the
salad, when you purchase a hamburger From Burger King you know beyond the shadow of doubt
that somewhere in between the buns, lettuce, tomatoes and mayo that there is a hamburger on that
bun. When you are taken to the hospital for emergency heart surgery, you expect to have complete

Dialog design has to do with the back–and–forth between a user and a Web site. Typically, the user
enters a site (through a link, a bookmark, or by typing a URL) and is presented with a page. The
user spends some time looking at the page, and then clicks on a link or a browser button. The
system responds by presenting a new page. The user looks at that, then clicks somewhere. There is
an interaction between the user and the Web site. With any luck, the Web site is responding to the
user's actions in a predictable way, and the user, in turn, is reacting to the Web site. This can be seen
as a conversation between user and Web site, or between user and site designer. The objective of
good dialog design is to facilitate the user finding the page he/she is looking for (i.e. the page or
pages on which the desired information resides) in the most effective way possible. The quality and
efficacy of a particular dialog design can only be assessed in the context of its use: specific users
performing specific tasks. Nobody's job description reads, "use the computer". Instead, workers are
responsible for specific tasks, and given the necessary tools to accomplish those tasks. The
computer is such a tool; the Web site becomes such a tool. Thus effective dialog design is directed
towards facilitating task completion in an accurate, comprehensive, and rapid manner. Now given
the scope of work, a designer might state that unless a contract is

We have been tasked to establish the communication standards for the new cooperate website, there
are many areas we need to take to inconsideration for establishing these standards.
To standardize the appearance of the webpages, a template will be designed. The template will
standardize the colors, margin, fonts and items that should be published on every page, and in the
same location on the page. While designing the template, they need to keep in mind of how users
read, rather how the scan the page. They do not read the page from left to rather the scan the page
from top to bottom. To help ease users access content and for readability, the width of the margins

RESEARCH ISSUES IN WEB MINING
ABSTRACT
Web is a collection of inter–related files on one or more web servers while web mining means
extracting valuable information from web databases. Web mining is one of the data mining domains
where data mining techniques are used for extracting information from the web servers. The web
data includes web pages, web links, objects on the web and web logs. Web mining is used to
understand the customer behaviour, evaluate a particular website based on the information which is
stored in web log files. Web mining is evaluated by using data mining techniques, namely

1. INTRODUCTION Web mining is the application of data mining technique which is an
unstructured or semi–structured data and it automatically discovers and extracts potentially useful
and previously unknown information or knowledge from the web. The significant web mining
applications are website design, web search, search engines, information retrieval, network
management, E–commerce, business and artificial intelligence, web market places and web
communities. Online business breaks the barrier of time and space as compared to the physical
office business. Big companies around the world are realizing that e–commerce is not just buying
and selling over Internet, rather it improves the efficiency to compete with other giants in the
market. This application includes the temporal issues for the users. []
Web mining has three classifications namely, web content mining, web structure mining and web
usage mining. Each classification is having its own algorithms and tools. Web content mining is
nothing but the discovery of valuable information from web documents and these web documents
may contain text, image, hyperlinks, metadata and structured records. It is used to look at the
information by search engine or web spiders i.e. Google, Yahoo. It is the process of retrieving the
useful information from the web content or web documents. Web structure mining is also a process

Designing A Final Portfolio Mobile Application
This section of the design document will focus on the user experience, GUI design standards as well
as components that address mobile accessibility standards. The images below are design for the
mobile application specifically. The following designs will be different from the above screens shots
that reflect the desktop and tablet designs. For a portfolio website trying to get as much qualification
information about the subject is limited due to a search engine optimization to restrain text to not
scroll. Therefore, the information will have to be added after project is finalized to become a final
portfolio mobile application. Mrs. Schachinger refers there are pros and cons of "infinite scroll" and
mobile development. Time is changing very quickly along with accessibility standards. The "infinite
scroll" pro are not limited to ease of pagination, fast access, less clicks and good for web explorers
(Search Engine Watch, Feb 2015). If a site is developed for goal oriented tasks, infinite scroll could
hinder the development along with the following drawbacks, "memory issues, page speed, scrollbar
issues and usability", are some examples of possible issues with "infinite scroll".
Lazy loading could help load mobile pages with abundance of content can be loaded while the first
page is still loading or mobile user was still reading current content. To concentrate on the design
layout to take this "no scroll" into effect makes for a harder mobile design, but easier for tablet

Web Accessibility Standards: A Very Brief Overview
The first Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) was published by W3C in 1999. WCAG
2.0, still in practice, was adopted in 2008. It has three levels of compliance: A, AA and AAA
(https://www.w3.org/TR/UNDERSTANDING–WCAG20/conformance.html#uc–levels–head) with
AAA being the strictest of the three.
Why Should Your Business Care About Web Accessibility?
With an accessible website in place, you can encourage every user to seamlessly view, understand
and interact with its contents. You're no longer forced to reserve the benefits of the online services to
a privileged few.
Have a look at the following numbers.
A report published early in the year
(https://www.ons.gov.uk/businessindustryandtrade/itandinternetindustry/bulletins/internetusers/2017)
shows, 9 out of 10 adults in the UK are recent internet users. Nearly 8 out of 10 users from 65–74

Health Education Resource Critique
The use of creditable and appropriate resources is important for educators because all internet
should be adept at critically evaluating information (Rankin, Stallings & London, 2005, p.380). To
ensure that information is unbiased, accurate, and up to date and clear to the reader the educator
should evaluate each resource that is going to be used (Rankin, et al., 2005, p. 280). Muscular

Accessibility & Validate
Accessibility
Accessibility for the web means making sure that your web pages and applications are available to
everyone, including people with disabilities.
A blind person using a screen reader needs the ability to skip navigation through to different
sections of the page, rather than reading the whole page from start to finish. Also, using heading
levels suitable (h1 to h6) makes this a lot easier.
Accessibility for hard of hearing and deaf, especially those who completely deaf from their birth can
be improved with the use of the sign language. I think most of the deaf people can understand the
written language, but sign language would a lot easier than writing. Ability Net

Create Structures And Styles And Use Them Essay
Create structures and styles and use them to produce websites
KU
1.1 Please see initial design folder
1.2 The main law I was concerned with while creating the site was the copyright, Designs and
Patents Act. To ensure the site was in line with this act with regards to images I created the
Background of the logo myself using GIMP2 I then converted the background of a Lion rampant to
Alpha so I could place this image on top of the background image. I am also covered by the creative
commons to take and change an image found on the web. Since there was work completed on the

1.1 Planning involved consideration of navigation method, colour scheme, logo design, favicon
design, font choice and site name. Once these had been decided upon I started to gather resources
for the project. The first thing that was obtained was the site font, this was found by going to google
fonts and searching for stencil. A stencil font was chosen as the website is for booking and finding
out about airsoft (a sport like paintball but using plastic pellets instead of paintballs) and therefore
this font gave the site a military–esque feel relating back to the military theme. The next
consideration to deal with was colour scheme originally a black and brick red colour scheme was
chosen but later seeing the site using this scheme it was deemed too dark, I, therefore, opted for an
off–white and red colour scheme as this lifted the page

A Note On B2b Sales Cycle
If you 're not using –– or have given up on –– landing pages, then you 're missing out on a truly
integral component of the sometimes complex B2B sales cycle.
Whether used as part of a lead or sales funnel... integrated into an email, PPC, or direct mail
campaign... a well–crafted landing page can really boost your conversion rates.
Now there are potentially hundreds of specific steps you can take in order to get the most out of
them. And there are, of course, various ways to test each page element.
Am I recommending that you ignore all the testing and tweaking? Of course not.
But if you want to get the most bang for your buck, you can 't afford to ignore the basics.
So without further ado, here are five steps to creating landing pages that convert.
1. Determine the goal.
The lack of a clearly defined goal is probably the single biggest stumbling block for most people. If
your pages contain six different ideas, all competing for attention, then you 're in for a disastrous
conversion experience.
For example, if you 've recently published three white papers, it would be a huge mistake to design
one landing page for all of them. Studies consistently show that vague or competing themes are a
huge factor in the overall success or failure of a landing page. So instead of cramming multiple
ideas onto one page, be sure to create a separate one for each. If you follow this one step alone, you
'll likely see at least a double digit improvement in your conversion rate.
2. Keep

that users are able to access other websites to help them create a wider understanding on healthy

UK prefer to obtain health information from UK sources (patient.co.uk 2010).
From reviewing the article, the URL (web address) indicates that the website is an UK based web
site, due to the final syllable in the domain name. However the website can all be acknowledged as
an organisational website, as it is sponsored by the information standard certification scheme(ref).
Which enables more recognition for the Patient.co.uk website to pursue and make a positive impact
(Anon,. 2011). This positive impact is created due the fact that the information standard scheme was
created by the Department of Health. This ensures that members of the public are able to identify
trustworthy health and social care information easily. The scheme reviews all articles that wish to be
sponsored. The sponsor then has to review the article to ensure the criteria is accurate, impartial,
balanced, evidence–based, accessible and well written. Resultantly, by having the Information

The Occupational Health And Safety Standards
As safety practitioners, we need to understand that procedures can be the nemesis of any
occupational health and safety (OHS) management system. Getting it wrong can be the difference
between success and failure in safety compliance.
Sometimes procedures are created too rigid and bureaucratic, and other times they're non–specific
and ineffectual. The point is no one wants to be under the burden of unnecessary or unusable
procedures. What is needed is the right balance of simple instructions that are easy to read and
comprehend.
Developing your Safety Procedures
Procedures should communicate to employees what they need to know to do their job safely. Here
are 5 simple steps to follow:
1. Justification – Ensure there is a genuine reason for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Always consider the following options:
Flowchart – This shows a process as a simple diagram. By using a series of symbols and arrows to
indicate flow and action you can outline a process and make it easy to follow.
Tip: Don't complicate your chart with too many symbols or too much text. It should flow naturally
from start to finish and be structured in a logical way.
Photographs or Diagrams – Are commonly used especially where there is difficulty in
communicating due to illiteracy or use of multiple languages. The main goal of visualisation is to
make it possible to absorb large amounts of data quickly.
Tip: The saying "A picture is worth a thousand words" refers to the notion that a complex idea can
be conveyed with just a single still image. However just make sure you check that your image or
diagram is saying the right words to employees.
Step 4: Writing Style.
Remember when you write you need to consider the end–user, the person who has to read and
understand your procedure. To ensure success adopt the following simple rules of writing;
Use plain everyday English words or local language. The use of uncommon, long or complex words
or sentences should be avoided where possible.
Keep to short paragraphs and avoid using too many words. Just be specific enough to communicate
clearly.
Write at the appropriate reading level.
Try to keep the procedure itself to a reasonable size

The American Society Of Criminology Essay
The American Society Of Criminology
"AHHHHhhhhh!" I let out a girlish scream and squirmed as shivers went strait up my spine. I was
glued to the latest episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, a show that I have watched
religiously since its debut. Criminology is something that has always fascinated me, and is a career
that I hope to pursue in the future as an FBI agent. I frequently surf the web looking for short stories
to read about different criminal cases and to find information about job opportunities and
internships. One day I found a website of an organization that studied crime independently of the

What Is Web Security?
What is Web Security? (10 sentences)
Websites, which connect the information across the globe through a complex network are
unfortunately susceptible to security risks. Hence, the webservers connected to its network are
unsafe too. Webservers can be considered as service windows which open your network to the entire
world. So, the entire scenario depends on design of that window. Engineering it to filter the amount
and type of information you need to pass through it is the main point on which web security
depends. Email service is the best example for such a window. As email and web technologies
congregate, a great rise in number of security threats in terms of creativity and effectiveness is
observed. Hence, to eradicate this nightmare, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Many people have heard of WordPress, but do not understand the full capabilities of the system.
Most people think that WordPress is a platform for blogging when, in fact, it is far more than that.
Today, WordPress has grown into what would be called a content management system, or CMS. A

What Makes a Good Website
What makes a good website?
Introduction
In my opinion what makes a good web page? I have been on the net for the last, can 't really believe
it, coming to ten years now. From the conception to now, I have been a regular surfer on the web,
visiting thousands of pages a month, mostly in search of some thing or another. Most searches have
lead to even more searches but some times I come up tops. Having been used to the all text sites of
the beginning, and seeing the first implementations of more graphic based sites, there was a three–
year lapse where I rarely got to surfing and missed a whole evolution in web page. When I returned
in full to surfing, I discovered the face of the internet have started to change. Buttons with ... Show

Not using clashing colours is important, so, different shades of one colour used makes for a pleasant
view, just using different text colours or inlays to spice it up a bit.
Usability:
After the first three seconds is up, and the site still has my attention, usability of the site is the one
that will make me stick around.
Usability comes in many forms, and has many ingredients to it. For a start, the layout is the most
important. You can have good graphics but bad layout, and your site is ruined. Not thinking further
than your own computer screen is a big mistake. If a page does not fit my screen when I open it up it
already lost some points, so standardised width is a bonus that all good sites have. Even if you don 't
fill up the screen on bigger resolutions, having it usable on all is n good point (like nokia.com or
cnn.com). Where you place everything is going to make it a good site or not.
The simple points of usability is certainly obvious for someone who has spent some time on bad
sites, not that I think I 'm pro at this, but off course they are catering for me as well when they are
building the sites. Basic layout is very important, and by that, I mean, the basics in layout. Having
things in places where you think people are going to look is a good start. If you have to look for a
link to the main page from the splash page, then forget about getting much traffic. If the main page

Web And Content Management Systems
What is WordPress?
It seems that the internet is filled with blogs. That's not an observation, it's a fact. Wherever we look
on the web, we find blogs about everything from AA meetings, to taking the drug Zytiga. For most
people, starting a blog is a daunting process. Without knowledge of HTML and CSS it would seem
impossible, and for the average person, that used to be true. That is until the creation of self–
publishing/content management systems(CMS) like WordPress (WP). WP was originally created as
new blogging platform in 2003. It was based on an older, and soon to be defunct, platform called
b2/cafelog. Matt Mullenweg and Mike Little were the founding developers of WP and sought to
take on the platform leader Moveable Type. Now WP powers around 20% of all websites. These
aren't just personal blogs, but corporate news and business sites as well. What makes WP desirable
to is the cost, and ease of use. WP is open source, so the software is free to use with any hosting
providers (as of 2017 only providers that offer an SSL will be able to offer WP with their hosting).
Ease of use comes in the form of using the dashboard to publish content, and style the website. This
is ideal for someone that has no knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. Giving this kind of
usability to everyone, makes it possible for the average user to make a place for themselves on the
web.
How does WordPress create a webpage? Now that we know a little about what WP is, we need to

The Case Of Google Inc.
In the case of Google Inc.'s filing, the details entailed informing investors about its scheduled

Get Slate in your inbox.
I better get on with it. So here's the story: Only a small number of you are reading all the way
through articles on the Web. I've long suspected this, because so many smart–alecks jump in to the
comments to make points that get mentioned later in the piece. But now I've got proof. I asked Josh
Schwartz, a data scientist at the traffic analysis firm Chartbeat, to look at how people scroll through
Slate articles. Schwartz also did a similar analysis for other sites that use Chartbeat and have
allowed the firm to include their traffic in its aggregate analyses.
Schwartz's data shows that readers can't stay focused. The more I type, the more of you tune out.
And it's not just me. It's not just Slate. It's everywhere online. When people land on a story, they
very rarely make it all the way down the page.

Purpose and Audience for the AT&T Site
In discussing the purpose and audience for the AT&T site, the possibilities are endless. This is due to

services they offer other than wireless, after only viewing the page for seconds I quickly became
informed otherwise. That is there purpose brand awareness, making people aware of the brand and
promoting all of their services. The site also has a section that informs people about the company
and what their goals and ambitions are as a company. The "about AT&T link also goes into depth
about the active role that AT&T plays in the community. The site also promotes their careers
available at AT&T, and even gives current AT&T members access to support for their services.
Although the site has many purposes, I would say that the main purpose is brand awareness. AT&T
centers their site around all of the different products and services they offer, they want to get the
word out about everything that

1. Imagine you are designing the costume for the Tin Man. What advantages and disadvantages does
the costume in the film have? (Consider aspects such as mobility, realism, artistic intent, and so on.)
Would you make any changes to the costume for a theater production? Why or why not? If i were to
design a costume for the tin man, some advantages would be price, and portability, but some of the
disadvantaged would be the way it may reflect light and also if it's comfortable for the one who
wears it.
2. In the scene where Dorothy says goodbye to Oz (time code 1:37:38), what is the mood of the
scene? How does the filmmaker achieve this mood? The mood of the scene was very depressing
because of how she accomplished so much and then she had to return back home to her family. The
way that they have the success was to make everyone look sad and silent, even the expression of
tears put out more of the mood of that whole scene. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Generally, web developers can utilize lines as a space or content divider and create attractive designs for backgrounds or header images (South University Online, 2016). This homepage includes many links, nevertheless, navigation is not a problem since the links are clearly defined in both the header and footer. It is more time consuming than usual to scroll through the homepage. Nonetheless, I am certain that the design is still excellent and contends are laid out in an attractive manner. Eataly is a company that sells Italian products online and in their various locations which also feature restaurants and activities that all relate to Italian food and products. The purpose of this paper is to assess the level of usability of the Eataly website and how four specific design topics, navigation, search options, professionalism, and breadcrumbs, impact the usability. NAVIGATION/CONSISTENCY The navigation of a website determines how site users move about the site and how they get to the page that contains the information that they are seeking. The site also doesn't have any features that would distract or intrude while using the site such as ads or popups that ask for customer info. Another note is that links on the site that enable users to sign in or check their order popup in an overlay of the current page when clicked instead of taking users to a different page. An example of this is that when something is added to a shopping cart the site doesn't force the user off the current page to go to the cart and the cart can also be viewed on any page without leaving the current page. BREADCRUMBS A breadcrumb is a visual design element on websites, usually featured just below the header, that shows users of the site where they are on the site and allows for them to be able to navigate the site faster since it shows them previous page links (Domagalski, n.d.). Breadcrumbs are utilized in the sites design on every page besides the home page. The breadcrumbs are located right below the far–left side of the sites header but are not sticky like the header. The usage of breadcrumbs allows users of the site to quickly see which page they are located on and see which pages led them to it and go back to those pages quickly. An example of this is on the delicate olive oil page that shows the following breadcrumb: "Home > Extra Virgin Olive Oil > ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Dialog design has to do with the back–and–forth between a user and a Web site. Typically, the user enters a site (through a link, a bookmark, or by typing a URL) and is presented with a page. The user spends some time looking at the page, and then clicks on a link or a browser button. The system responds by presenting a new page. The user looks at that, then clicks somewhere. There is an interaction between the user and the Web site. With any luck, the Web site is responding to the user's actions in a predictable way, and the user, in turn, is reacting to the Web site. This can be seen as a conversation between user and Web site, or between user and site designer. The objective of good dialog design is to facilitate the user finding the page he/she is looking for (i.e. the page or pages on which the desired information resides) in the most effective way possible. The quality and efficacy of a particular dialog design can only be assessed in the context of its use: specific users performing specific tasks. Nobody's job description reads, "use the computer". Instead, workers are responsible for specific tasks, and given the necessary tools to accomplish those tasks. The computer is such a tool; the Web site becomes such a tool. Thus effective dialog design is directed towards facilitating task completion in an accurate, comprehensive, and rapid manner. • 25. Create Structures And Styles And Use Them Essay Create structures and styles and use them to produce websites KU 1.1 Please see initial design folder 1.2 The main law I was concerned with while creating the site was the copyright, Designs and Patents Act. To ensure the site was in line with this act with regards to images I created the Background of the logo myself using GIMP2 I then converted the background of a Lion rampant to Alpha so I could place this image on top of the background image. I am also covered by the creative commons to take and change an image found on the web. Since there was work completed on the image the final logo can be claimed as my own intellectual property. ST 1.1 Planning involved consideration of navigation method, colour scheme, logo design, favicon design, font choice and site name. Once these had been decided upon I started to gather resources for the project. The first thing that was obtained was the site font, this was found by going to google fonts and searching for stencil. A stencil font was chosen as the website is for booking and finding out about airsoft (a sport like paintball but using plastic pellets instead of paintballs) and therefore this font gave the site a military–esque feel relating back to the military theme. The next consideration to deal with was colour scheme originally a black and brick red colour scheme was chosen but later seeing the site using this scheme it was deemed too dark, I, therefore, opted for an off–white and red colour scheme as this lifted the page ... • 27. A Note On B2b Sales Cycle If you 're not using –– or have given up on –– landing pages, then you 're missing out on a truly integral component of the sometimes complex B2B sales cycle. Whether used as part of a lead or sales funnel... integrated into an email, PPC, or direct mail campaign... a well–crafted landing page can really boost your conversion rates. Now there are potentially hundreds of specific steps you can take in order to get the most out of them. If your pages contain six different ideas, all competing for attention, then you 're in for a disastrous conversion experience. For example, if you 've recently published three white papers, it would be a huge mistake to design one landing page for all of them. Studies consistently show that vague or competing themes are a huge factor in the overall success or failure of a landing page. So instead of cramming multiple ideas onto one page, be sure to create a separate one for each. If you follow this one step alone, you 'll likely see at least a double digit improvement in your conversion rate. 2. Keep ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Usability comes in many forms, and has many ingredients to it. For a start, the layout is the most important. You can have good graphics but bad layout, and your site is ruined. Wherever we look on the web, we find blogs about everything from AA meetings, to taking the drug Zytiga. For most people, starting a blog is a daunting process. Without knowledge of HTML and CSS it would seem impossible, and for the average person, that used to be true. That is until the creation of self– publishing/content management systems(CMS) like WordPress (WP). WP was originally created as new blogging platform in 2003. It was based on an older, and soon to be defunct, platform called b2/cafelog. Matt Mullenweg and Mike Little were the founding developers of WP and sought to take on the platform leader Moveable Type. Now WP powers around 20% of all websites. These aren't just personal blogs, but corporate news and business sites as well. What makes WP desirable to is the cost, and ease of use. WP is open source, so the software is free to use with any hosting providers (as of 2017 only providers that offer an SSL will be able to offer WP with their hosting). Ease of use comes in the form of using the dashboard to publish content, and style the website. This is ideal for someone that has no knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. Giving this kind of usability to everyone, makes it possible for the average user to make a place for themselves on the web. How does WordPress create a webpage?
