This is the story of eBay eBay, founded by a French computer programmer,Pierre Omidyar, was the first company to incorporate the auction process

The following are some of the promotional mix adopted by eBay:
Advertising
As eBay is a web based company dealing with commerce (the buying and selling of products), the organization requires very little public advertising as
most of the organization's advertisements are circulated throughout the internet. However, there are still quite a number of public advertising that can
be seen throughout the world. eBay advertisement on the streets

Personal Selling
During the starting years of eBay, Pierre Omidyar adopted a very simple approach into selling, which is, "there is always a market for any product that
you are selling, the only challenge is in finding that right target market."
So instead of establishing a retail store that simply deals with the buying and selling of products, Pierre instead adopted the approach of getting people
connected from all over the world.
Over 40 Million products are sold over eBay, not through their own manufacturing power but rather through the collective collection of the people,
distributors, and manufacturers.
Furthermore, for a fact that there a number of manufacturers whom are registered users that are selling directly to consumers is also a form of
personal selling.

Persuasive Essay Comparing Two Cars
Today im going to be compering 2 cars. one of them is the most known car ever made it is 2015 lamborghini veneno roadster. The other one is very
underrated it is the 2014 mclaren p1. Both of these cars are very fast there are many differences between these cars, but not many similarities. Let's
start with the 2014 mclaren p1 . the horsepower on this car is 727, this car can also go 0–60 mph in 2.7 seconds the top speed is 217. Now onto the
fuel economy 16 mpg i the city and 21 mpg on the highway. Weight of this car is 3300lbs, the motor alone is 1000 of that weight the rest of the car
is the seats and things like that. One more thing is the starting price of this car is $1,150,000. Now let's talk about the lamborghini veneno. Even
though this brand is one of the most known cars on the market im going to talk about this car any way. The horsepower on this car is a 750, The top
speed is 221 it can travel from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds and the fuel economy is 11 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. Now the weight is 4,196
lbs. Mow the price of this car is $497,650.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
And also the top speed goes to to the lamborghini at 221 mph. How about 0–60, the mclaren takes the cup for this one just by .2 of a sec, the reason
why the mclaren accelerate faster is because of the weight the mclaren is one of the lightest cars on the market today only at 3,300 lbs. And also
did i mention that the mclaren is a hybrid so it has motors one is a standard gas and the other two are electric and the combo of these 3 make it have
the 767 horsepower. Thank you for reading this competition for these 2 cars. I hope this has gave you more info on these 2

The Startup 's Unique Origin Story
Your Startup's Unique Origin Story Can Be Your Most Marketable Asset
Blood, sweat, tears – ask the founder of any startup, and she'll tell you those are the building
blocks which went into her company. She has toiled for months, even years to make this happen,
often in some cramped space hidden away in the bowels of someone else's building.
Dig a little deeper, and you begin to learn more about how the company started and what made
its creator so passionate – passionate enough to do the creating. If you're a consumer or an
investor, however, you shouldn't have to dig for this origin story. It should be front–and–center in
the startup's marketing campaign.
Why Share Your Origin Story
Your origin story is what sets you apart from your competition. Investors and consumers alike
have choice no matter the niche, and as a startup, you are in a position to cultivate your own
reputation.
If your origin story has to do with social responsibility, like Warby Parker's, this lends to your
credibility within your market. It never hurts to share your good karma.
Did you meet in college and have been best friends for decades? Did you use your own guerilla
marketing tactics to get off the ground? The story of Sara Blakely, her white pants, and her
footless pantyhose has made the origin story rounds for years –– for good reason.
Did you see a need in another industry and fill it with your own product? Nearly everyone in the
world knows Lamborghini's

Alex Greg
Have you ever wondered how would it feel walking down the Ave. Champs–Elysses on a winter night in Paris then entering your Lamborghini? Well
most people have, but how many people have actually wondered what it takes to achieve that? Not many. This is the reason why I choose this
picture which is a kind of "advertisement" made by Alex Greg. The reason why I referred to it like that because it is a post published in a funny site
and I choose it because of the message the author tries to send. In this picture all we can see it's a Lamborghini in Paris and specifically located in the
street leading near the Arc de Triomphe as. Also in the picture we see a quote which states: "Why haven't you seen a Lamborghini commercial before?
Because the people who can afford them aren't sitting around watching Tv...". The message that the author is trying to convey is simple as people who
own this car don't spend their time with nonsense stuff such as television, videogames and other time... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
"As the saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words," then using image cleverly could equal to delivering a lengthy essay." (Ly–Le, article)
Before I explain all the techniques that Greg has used in this picture let me explain why he choose to deliver his message through a picture with a
caption. Well the part which I choose there is extracted from the article of a writer called Tuong–Minh Ly–Le. Greg choose the visual rhetoric to share
his message with the world simply because it would be simpler to do it this way then to write a 1000–word essay explaining it. Also this way is better
because the audience will have different opinions on what message he was trying to send them and can affect the crowd in different ways. So the
message that I got from his picture may not be the same message that other members of the audience got and this is why visual rhetoric is such a

Lamborghini Huracan Research Papers
Lamborghini Huracan
The Lamborghini Huracan is a fabulous machine. This car is the definition of high–performance vehicles. The Lamborghini Huracan can easily achieve
a top speed of 329 km per hour or 204 miles per hour. The Beast of a car can also go from a standstill to 60 miles per hour in less than 2.3 seconds.
The car has claimed numerous records around the world, including the Nurburgring.
Now the Nurburgring is an interesting record. The car that was used to complete this record was not a stock Lamborghini Huracan. In fact, it was a
turbo charged 6.2 liter V12 engine which is not very different from the stock 6.2 L V12 engine the only thing that is different between these two
engines is that the fact that the one that was used to complete the Nurburgring was turbo charged. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Lamborghini Huracan is heavily modifiable.
So this means if the already savage V12 naturally aspirated isn't fast enough for you, you can easily modify it to go faster. A simple $2,000 purchase
and install of a supercharger or a turbocharger can make your car so much faster as proven at the Nurburgring.
The car is also a very practical car. If you look at the other competitors such as a McLaren all you can see is a very fast sports car. McLarens aren't
practical for everyday use. They're more like a weekend car. for an example, if you're out shopping in the city speed bumps and parking is a common
issue.
Usually in the city it is rare to find roadside parking so you have to pay to go into a parking garage. Now with the McLaren that is near to impossible
due to its right height which is about 2 inches off the ground. In order for the car to be a practical car you will probably need to be able to complete

The 2016 Lamborghini Huracan (in Spanish it means Hurricane), designed by Filippo Perini, will replace the most sold and produced model that the
company makes, the Gallardo. This car will have some pretty big shoes to fill, no doubt.
The 2016 Lamborghini Huracan Roadster will get above 60 in about 3 seconds, and over 120 in ten seconds. Drivers of this car should be able to
exceed two hundred miles per hour easy, but the car will not get above 20 miles per gallon. The engine is a 5.2 liter V–10 that produces a powerful
602 horsepower and 413 foot pounds of torque; while the transmission is a automatic seven speed, with a dual clutch. A typical manual transmission
will not be available. Drivers will have the option to run all ten of the car's cylinders at once (this is required at high speeds) or to shut down half of
them at lower speeds, when they do not need all ten. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That does not mean, however, that you should worry about its capabilities. With a car that goes so fast, it is better to drive with the ability to put
the top down. Feel the wind your hair as you drive well over one hundred miles per hour. The design of the roof in the drop top allows you to store
it in the luggage compartment of the car, and will come in three different colors: red, black, and brown. To put the top down, there is a button you
press to start the seventeen second process of putting the roof down. There is a catch though, the car must not exceed 31 MPH when the roof is
coming down. Additionally, the driver has the option to take the rear window down if they so choose; it does not matter if the roof is up or down for this

Why Volkswagen Will Race Ahead Of Auto Peers
Volkswagen (VLKAY), world's third
–largest automaker behind Toyota (TM) and General Motors (GM), has been an exceptional performer in the
automotive industry, gaining 158% over the last five years. Although the U.S. is one of the Volkswagens smaller markets, it is a top seller in the
Europe and China. As the company aspires to become the global industry leader by 2018, here are a few reasons to back up its ambitious claim.
European auto industry poised for a rebound
Europe's beleaguered auto industry endured a six–year slump, with auto sales falling to the lowest level in nearly two decades, as a sluggish economic
recovery put a brake of spending. However, going by the recent data trend, the industry is headed for a revival this year. European auto sale increased
7.6% in February, marking the sixth–straight month of sales increase, as steady economic recovery in Italy, Portugal and Spain spurred demand for
new cars, according to the Association of European Carmakers (ACEA). The improving consumer confidence, amid a recovering economy, is likely
to drive a 2% to 3% upside in 2014.
Volkswagen, Europe's biggest automaker, is best positioned to benefit from the auto industry rebound. As a matter of fact, it has significantly helped
the region's improved sales in recent months, posting rises of 8.9% and 7.2%, respectively, in January and February this year. If demand holds up,
Volkswagen can considerably outperform the regional market this year. Furthermore, global auto sales

A Recommendation For Worldwide Governance
Recommendation for Worldwide Governance
Due to the global implications of some decisions made by Volkswagen, governing boards should strengthen their impact on worldwide automakers by
working in conjunction with other countries in enforcing needed global regulations. If the impact of a product is global, then governance leadership of
that product should also be at a global scale. Collaboration may never be achieved globally, but major consuming countries working in conjunction to
enforce needed regulations, can make the same impact. In the case of the VW emission scandal, several countries are assisting in holding Volkswagen
accountable but each country is performing their own investigation and requiring Volkswagen to correct the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If standards are uniform, it would allow for concentrated research and development of vehicles that would benefit the world. Understanding that not all
nations will participate, the most influential and largest consuming nations will be empowered by the benefit of consolidated and uniform rules.
Imposing Worldwide Environmental Penalties
If emission standards and other vehicle operating regulations are globalized, then the penalties implied on car makers should also be globalized. The
impact would be immediately greater, making compliance so much more important. Violations, such as the emission deception, do impact the entire
world, therefore, penalties should also be at a higher unified level to assist with resolution and re–standardization when needed. A global voice will be
much more powerful, moreover, the additional worldwide penalties would not eliminate or reduce each individual countries penalties. Penalties would
have to be closely monitored so as not to cripple a company overall.
Recommendations for Consumer Protection
Governing boards must empower consumers with needed tools to make safer business decisions. If tools are given to the consumer to protect their
purchases from car makers, consumers would more comfortably recover from product issues and continue purchasing. For some consumers, the impact
of the VW deception will cause loss of funds,

The World's Necessity For Crude Oil And Petroleum Gasoline
There is always a picture or a visual concept that is incredibly appealing to the twelve–year–old inside everyone, whether it is a car, a sports figure, or a

imagination wild. In this day and age, the world's necessity for crude oil and petroleum gasoline makes people dependent upon the industry, and the
quickly exhausting nonrenewable resource is problem. Now that the end of this staple resource is imminent, it must be conserved, a problem for cars
like the Lamborghini Aventador which has a 6.5–Liter V–12 engine ("Aventador LP 700–4"). When governments and other regulatory groups like the

Other cars similar to the Ford quickly followed, like the AC Cobra 427, also known as the Shelby Cobra was launched in 1965. Then in 1966 the
Ferrari 275GTB, the Stingray Corvette, the Jensen FF, but most famous of all, the Lamborghini Miura were all born. Over the years the supercar has

Ferruccio Lamborghini was inspired by an insult to create a ferocious V12 high performance luxury car. Said insult was Enzo Ferrari's response to
Lamborghini's critique of the 250 GT (easily one of the most coveted cars of all time). Ferruccio told Enzo that the car was too loud and too stiff
to be used on normal roads, and that the clutch was subpar. Ferrari asserted that the problem could not have been his engineering, it had to be the
driver. Lamborghini was so offended by the remark that he set out to prove Enzo wrong by making a car that outperformed his legendary Ferrari 250
GT. To assist in this endeavor, Ferruccio hired an engineer that previously worked on Ferrari's V12, Gianpaolo Dallara. With the combined forces of a

When most other engines produced under 250 horsepower, the Lamborghini V12 had 347 prancing horses at their disposal. Which made Enzo
regret insulting the tractor mechanic turned mogul. The first finished product, known as the Lamborghini 350 GTV was shown at the 1963 Turin
Auto Show. Unfortunately, that gorgeous version was far from production ready. Because of the carburetor placement, the Franco Scaglione
sculpted body did not properly fit over the minutely massive dry sump racing V12 crafted by Giotto Bizzarrini. Furthermore, the car could not
have even driven in the rain, because it was missing windshield wipers... oh and it lacked brake caliper's foot pedals, so it could not have been
stopped even if you got the car moving Fred Flintstone style. Despite its defects, the 350 GTV would have been incredible if it was ever finished
with Scaglione's design. Though I do agree with Ferruccio's critique of the angular and out of place taillights, but beside that detail, the GTV was far
prettier than the production model 350 GT. Aesthetics aside, the 350 GT was still magnificent in a way the GTV never had a chance to be.

In 2008, Lamborghini produced the Reventon, based from a Murcielago, but further changing the exterior design in resemblance to aircraft fighters. It
was priced significantly higher by 200% and was able to garner in more sales figures while producing less numbers (only 20 was ever made).
Lamborghini's signature models came with a distinctive badging "SV", which stands for "Super Veloce" or super–fast in English. By turning its
regular model into a redesigned exterior with extensive use of carbon fiber (weight reduction) and remapping of the engine (power output increase), the
Murcielago SV made it debut in 2009. Priced at about 40% higher than the base models, Lamborghini was thriving even under a bad economic situation.
This strategy continued with the production of the Sesto Elemento (2012), based from a Gallardo but 90% of components made of carbon fiber. The

According to Volkswagen Group's Half–Yearly Finaicial Report January–June 2009, for the first half of 2009 the manufacturer sold 652,000 units in
China while selling 631,900 vehicles on Germany. So ,China is the biggest market for the VW Group. And also VW has been taking the leading
position in the Chinese automotive market for more than 20 years.
Another emerging market Brazil:
Brazil is set to surpass Germany this year to become the 4th largest car market in the world, after China, United States and Japan. And once again, VW
is the No.1 carmaker in this exciting market.
Weakness
North American Market:
Volkswagen's puny presence in the U.S. was its greatest weakness. Compare to its strong position in Europe, China and Brazil, VW's market share in
the US, including its Audi brand, is only three percent. The reason can be traced back to its product line, which was not ideally suited to Americans'
taste in cars.
The VW focused on smaller or mid–size cars with highly advanced technological features when Americans were more interested in buying larger
vehicles, such as SUVs or pick–ups.
Opportunities:
New plant in US:
In 2008 Volkswagen has announced that it will build a new vehicle production facility in Tennessee .It will invest as much as $1 billion in the factory,
and will begin production in early 2011, employ 2,000 workers and also a new mid–size sedan will

The Purpose Of Eating The Enemy By Eduardo Viveiros De Castro
And if we are arguing for a resistance within life, how come they have to give death to El Loco after realizing the imminence of the normalization.
Do we have to resist within life only by denying the life of the other? Let's step back for a moment to try to answer this question. The anthropologist
Eduardo Viveiros de Castro discusses the cannibal ceremony of the Tupinamba of Brazil, who devour their enemies after war. The question about the
purpose of eating the enemy is addressed by Viveiros de Castro: The "thing" eaten, then, could not be a "thing" if it were at the same time –and this is
essential– a body. This body, nevertheless, was a sign with a purely positional value. What was eaten was the enemy's relation to those who consumed

talk about some of their older models, they truly were doing their own thing. "But that was what Ferrari was best at, doing things their own way."
(Ferrari) Ferrari was the master of making something that most likely wouldn't work and making a masterpiece. Most of Ferrari's cars were
beautifully made cars they just did what they did the best they could and it was amazing the way they did it. From making cars that should have

would only be true assuming it exists in the contemporary alone. However, that is not the case, each Lamborghini Miura that exists now has been alive

This is a testament to the Modena manufacturing magic it was made with. Despite the fact that its existence is due to an unconventional series of
events, it was made with an often overlooked relentless practicality.
That is what makes the Lamborghini Miura so unique. It was not just a supercar in the literary sense; because it was also adept for daily use, it is

Part of the reason why prejudiced people think the Miura is a supercar is because of its aesthetics, it has a certain look it. It is exciting, and it was
sculpted with the artistic intention of eliciting immediate emotion.
The Lamborghini Miura was made in the golden years; not only for just Lamborghini, but automotive design in general. In the 1950s and 60s the person
with the most clout in creating an automobile was the coachbuilder that made the body. Designers were king during that era, to aesthetic victor went the
spoils.
Thus many designs began and ended with the body. The way a car looked was the most important facet to a market uninterested in safety and/or fuel

Ferruccio was famous wanting to make a practical car first. So the cars made by Lamborghini under his management were uncompromising. The
Miura especially, was super: it was practical day to day, and magical on a winding

Now onto the fuel economy 16 mpg i the city and 21 mpg on the highway. Weight of this car is 3300lbs, the motor alone is 1000 of that weight the rest of the car is the seats and things like that. One more thing is the starting price of this car is $1,150,000. Now let's talk about the lamborghini veneno. Even though this brand is one of the most known cars on the market im going to talk about this car any way. The horsepower on this car is a 750, The top speed is 221 it can travel from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds and the fuel economy is 11 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. Now the weight is 4,196 lbs. • 6. The Startup 's Unique Origin Story Your Startup's Unique Origin Story Can Be Your Most Marketable Asset Blood, sweat, tears – ask the founder of any startup, and she'll tell you those are the building blocks which went into her company. She has toiled for months, even years to make this happen, often in some cramped space hidden away in the bowels of someone else's building. Dig a little deeper, and you begin to learn more about how the company started and what made its creator so passionate – passionate enough to do the creating. If you're a consumer or an investor, however, you shouldn't have to dig for this origin story. It should be front–and–center in the startup's marketing campaign. Why Share Your Origin Story Your origin story is what sets you apart from your competition. Investors and consumers alike have choice no matter the niche, and as a startup, you are in a position to cultivate your own reputation. If your origin story has to do with social responsibility, like Warby Parker's, this lends to your credibility within your market. It never hurts to share your good karma.

  • 8. Alex Greg Have you ever wondered how would it feel walking down the Ave. Champs–Elysses on a winter night in Paris then entering your Lamborghini? Well most people have, but how many people have actually wondered what it takes to achieve that? Not many. This is the reason why I choose this picture which is a kind of "advertisement" made by Alex Greg. The reason why I referred to it like that because it is a post published in a funny site and I choose it because of the message the author tries to send. In this picture all we can see it's a Lamborghini in Paris and specifically located in the street leading near the Arc de Triomphe as. Also in the picture we see a quote which states: "Why haven't you seen a Lamborghini commercial before? Because the people who can afford them aren't sitting around watching Tv...". The message that the author is trying to convey is simple as people who own this car don't spend their time with nonsense stuff such as television, videogames and other time... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... "As the saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words," then using image cleverly could equal to delivering a lengthy essay." (Ly–Le, article) Before I explain all the techniques that Greg has used in this picture let me explain why he choose to deliver his message through a picture with a caption. Well the part which I choose there is extracted from the article of a writer called Tuong–Minh Ly–Le. Greg choose the visual rhetoric to share his message with the world simply because it would be simpler to do it this way then to write a 1000–word essay explaining it. Also this way is better because the audience will have different opinions on what message he was trying to send them and can affect the crowd in different ways. So the message that I got from his picture may not be the same message that other members of the audience got and this is why visual rhetoric is such a powerful ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The car has claimed numerous records around the world, including the Nurburgring. Now the Nurburgring is an interesting record. The car that was used to complete this record was not a stock Lamborghini Huracan. In fact, it was a turbo charged 6.2 liter V12 engine which is not very different from the stock 6.2 L V12 engine the only thing that is different between these two engines is that the fact that the one that was used to complete the Nurburgring was turbo charged. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The Lamborghini Huracan is heavily modifiable. So this means if the already savage V12 naturally aspirated isn't fast enough for you, you can easily modify it to go faster. A simple $2,000 purchase and install of a supercharger or a turbocharger can make your car so much faster as proven at the Nurburgring. The car is also a very practical car. If you look at the other competitors such as a McLaren all you can see is a very fast sports car. McLarens aren't practical for everyday use. They're more like a weekend car. for an example, if you're out shopping in the city speed bumps and parking is a common issue. Usually in the city it is rare to find roadside parking so you have to pay to go into a parking garage. Now with the McLaren that is near to impossible due to its right height which is about 2 inches off the ground. Why Volkswagen Will Race Ahead Of Auto Peers Volkswagen (VLKAY), world's third –largest automaker behind Toyota (TM) and General Motors (GM), has been an exceptional performer in the automotive industry, gaining 158% over the last five years. Although the U.S. is one of the Volkswagens smaller markets, it is a top seller in the Europe and China. As the company aspires to become the global industry leader by 2018, here are a few reasons to back up its ambitious claim. European auto industry poised for a rebound Europe's beleaguered auto industry endured a six–year slump, with auto sales falling to the lowest level in nearly two decades, as a sluggish economic recovery put a brake of spending. However, going by the recent data trend, the industry is headed for a revival this year. European auto sale increased 7.6% in February, marking the sixth–straight month of sales increase, as steady economic recovery in Italy, Portugal and Spain spurred demand for new cars, according to the Association of European Carmakers (ACEA). The improving consumer confidence, amid a recovering economy, is likely to drive a 2% to 3% upside in 2014. Volkswagen, Europe's biggest automaker, is best positioned to benefit from the auto industry rebound. As a matter of fact, it has significantly helped the region's improved sales in recent months, posting rises of 8.9% and 7.2%, respectively, in January and February this year.
