The document provides details on the design and development of a skateboarding brand called Felony. It includes mood boards, font and color selections, layout designs for a logo, website, magazine, and look book. Contingency planning and a production schedule are also outlined to complete the work within the deadline. Safety considerations like taking regular breaks are mentioned to avoid eye strain or injury from prolonged computer use.
2. Style sheet
The black would work
really well with yellow and
the red because it
contrasts well. I would use
this for my logo as I would
like to have different
colours on.
I think that black on
white looks really good
as it looks simple but
really good at the same
time. I would use this
for my web site design
as it would look really
slick.
The red would look really
good for a masthead on my
magazine as it is to for with
danger and skating is a
dangerous sport.
3. Style sheet
I think this font is good because each letter is
lines and it looks pretty cool. It is also in sort
of a square shape which caught my attention
because you can easily read it. It would be
great for a masthead on my magazine.
4. Style sheet
This font is really funky and it has sort of an
80s ‘hippie’ feel towards it, which could work
well as skating about creativity and this font
is creative. It is also bold and really easy to
read. I would use this as my masthead in my
magazine or my look book.
5. Style sheet
This font looks really good as it
is something you would see in a
newspaper. This makes it stand
out for me as you can also
associate newspaper sort of
things with the street and a
whole lot of skating is on a
street. I really like the white on
black because it looks different
and, different stands out. If I
was to use it would probably be
for my sub headings in my
magazine as I don’t think it work
as a mast head because of the
stroke around each letter make
the font too big.
6. Style sheet
This font caught my eye because it looks like it has
been hand written and it looks raw. This would work
well because it could contrast with my work really
well. It has a street feel to it as well that could look
good with my work. Each letter stands out as they
each have a splat of paint on to exaggerate the
rawness. I would use this in my logo or in my
magazine as a masthead.
7. Style sheet
This font looks good as each letter stands
out really well even tho there is a lot
going on such as, the R is connected to
the S and there a line connected to the W
going across but it is missing out the M to
show that is the start of a word and to
exaggerate the whole thing. This would
work really well on my masthead because
it is complex but easy to read.

13. Mood Board Analysis
• Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• All the pictures are to do with skating. All of the colours are red
white or black mostly. They all have sort of a chill mood to it. The
images have an urban style to it. It feels like everything is to do with
chilling out and doing what you want. The fonts are all easy to read.
Half of them are bold and defying however the other half are not as
easy to read but they are such a big brand everyone already knows
they are.
• How will your mood board influence your final product?
• It has given me the chance to look at all of my products at one time.
I said earlier about connecting all of my products together and this
gives me a chance to see that it works well and I am still going to
pursue my idea.
14. Software and resources
Software needed Resources needed

before implementing them into my work.

15. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
My computer could shut it self down before I
get to save my work.
I can keep on saving my work every 15
minutes to make sure I don’t lose any work
which would waste a lot of time and possibly
set me behind deadline. Also I can set up
auto save on the computer.
I might not be able to find the fonts that I
used on another computer.
Make sure that I have saved them onto the H
drive so I can access them straight away. This is
so I don’t lose time and become behind on
deadline.
I could be behind schedule. Make sure all my work is organised and if I need
to I will do work at home.
I could lose images when I move computer. make sure that they are all saved to my H drive
so I wont loose them. This will help me not lose
any time so I don’t go behind schedule.
I might loose my work halfway through when I
change computer.
save it all to my USB stick as well as my H drive
just in case if I loose the USB I have a backup. If I
was to lose all of my work I would have to do it
all again and I would be behind schedule and
miss the deadline.
There might be some images that I need off
google but, google might not have any/I am not
typing the right thing in to find the images I am
looking for.
I can make my own images that I will need to
put in my work. It would look more original as
well and make my final product better.
16. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
I could get eye strain from spending too much
time of the computer.
I can keep taking breaks after every 1 hour 30
minutes, to give my eyes a break.
I could get a head ache if I spend too long on
the computer.
I can keep taking breaks after every 1 hour 30
minutes, to give my eyes a break.
I could get repetitive stress injury if I spend to
long on the computers.
frequently keep on taking breaks.
I might have to go to the toilet for diarrhoea or
from feeling sick halfway through.
I can eat the right things before hand so I wont
have to go.
I could be sat in an uncommon posture and I
might start to ache a lot when I stand up.
I will make sure that I am not slouched on the
chair and my back is up right.
I could get strain in my legs and feet. I can rotate my ankles round under the desk
and I can also take frequent breaks.
