2. Research
• As I began my research finding a subject that I love
was difficult, so I went with something that I know a
lot of which was art.
• I figured out that if I was going to do art. I'd have to
use my own drawings or a friend's drawings which I
used both and a photography pictures as well.
• I looked at various photography and art style
magazines to see what they included and to see if I
could incorperate that style into mine.
3. Planning
• Planning my outcome was not as hard as I expected, I already
had a clear view of what my intentions where and how I could
set the magazine to auit the task at hand.
• When it came to the week before making our product digitally
we found that photoshop and inDesign had stopped working
so I made a hard copy as it would save time in trying to fix tye
computer and having to wait.
• I booked out a camera so that I could take images for the
magazine I which I printed of to add it to the hard version of
my magazine.
• I had also interviewed an artist on her view of her own art to
try and get an inside opinion to the art industry
• From that I had finished my magazine and I continued with
the other Powerpoints in the project so I could finish on time .
4. Time Management
• My time management for this project was 6/10 as not all my work was
completed in time and creating the real version of my magazine took more
time up the expected.
• For my next project I am going to spend more time making sure my
Powerpoints are complete during production stage so that I know I have
completed my work so that i can keep a track of my products
5. Technical Qualities
As a class we came across the technical difficulty of photoshop
and inDesign not working. For some computers they got sorted
but some did not like my computer, so I made a realistic version
of it.
The problem had been fixed, just before Christmas which did
not help me much as I had finished the designing stage. As was
working on my powerpoints to get them finished.
*After the technical issue started to show up, I began to think
properly on how I was going to execute the problem at hand,
how was I going to make my project without waiting for the
tutors to fix my computer. I asked brittany if I was okay to make
the hard copy instead due to photoshop being down, she
allowed it and so i began making my magazine.*
6. Aesthetic Qualities
the aesthetic qualities my magazine has is that it
ranges in colours and styles of art and that it is a
different make of magazine as it is in my own style,
but it's made by hand.
Other qualities is the content it includes; drawn,
photography and the interview of an artist to
further the idea on her own work
7. Audience Appeal
The audience I am appealing are those who enjoy
art: learning, creating. It also appeals to those
who like to criticize art and make a career out of it
my magazine tries to target these people as there
is more feedback that comes from it and it can be
either positive or negative, it would have been
beneficial to all
