Should Distracted Walking be Banned? I have injured myself multiple times by walking into sharp
objects I had not seen while looking down at my phone, and I would like to prevent it from
happening to unsuspecting citizens before something even worse happens to them. Already, an
excessive amount of people have accumulated serious injuries due to distracted walking. There have
even been deaths because of this issue. Some people think that glancing at their phones for even a

For this Media Product Analysis paper, I will be reviewing "The Walking Dead: The Game" from
Telltale Games. "The Walking Dead: Season One" has a total of five episodes which were released
digitally one episode at a time every two months from April 2012 to November 2012. Each game
takes approximately two hours of gameplay.
The Walking Dead universe does not use the term zombies, but "walkers" instead. The premise of
the game revolves around the main character Lee Everett and a little girl named Clementine, who he
meets at the beginning of the game and is set to protect her at all costs. On the way to find a better
place or escape for survival, they meet several people and survival groups who may leave or die due
to decisions that the players make. The main storyline does not stray too much and the choices that
the players make affect more on character development and how the other characters in the game
perceive Lee.
There are several times in the game where players also get a little bit of action when Lee fights off
the walkers or other dangerous people. However, the game is more focused on decision–making and
especially quick–time events, where the player is given a time limit to make a decision. In a way, the
player gets to play their own adventure and make the choices that they would make if they were in

Martin and his family and the history of their family farm. The reason why Martin is visiting his

The Walking Dead is a television series which follows the story of a disease–causing infection that
caused the Earth to be dominated by a zombie apocalypse. A group of survivors gets forced to fight
for their lives against man/eating zombies. The main character in the show is Rick Grimes, a Sheriff
Deputy who had been shot prior to the apocalypse event. Rick was later taken to a local hospital
before the zombie epidemic. Rick awakens from a coma in which he finds himself in a hospital
alone. He noticed that he is in a world that is different than anything he has ever seen before.

The Walking Dead is a television show that leaves its audience terrified and apprehension at 9 pm
on Sunday nights. While members in the audiences are chewing on popcorn, The Walking Dead
provides a taste for human cannibalism. The walkers, "Zombies", feed on human flesh and have no
thought of mortality. The atmosphere of The Walking Dead leaves all its characters with a dreary

Walking into the correctional facility felt as if I was walking through a college campus tour. They
had dorms, they had a gym, they had a library, they had a dining hall, they had special rooms for
special people. I can assure you this is not the college I would want to go to. The students here, also
known as inmates, looked demoralized. While we were there, the prison was in a state of overflow.
They had to many inmates that they needed to pack them like sardines in the meeting area of the

Matthew's narrative of Jesus walking on the water serves to illustrate the saving power of faith,
Christ's always present help, and the issue of testing God and doubt. Peter, the leading disciple in the
story, introduces the issue of a divided mind conflicting between faith and doubt as he attempts to
walk out to Jesus who is coming to the ship. Jesus' purpose for walking out on the water is to save
the disciples in the ship "tossed with waves" (Matt 14:24 KJV). The waves, representing chaos,

good and bad. Fear, the main theme of the show, followed by sacrifice is portrayed in every episode
where everyone fears where are they going to end the next day, where they find themselves

Finally! The Walking Dead has returned and so have my recaps. I know most of my blog lately has
been recaps and I'm really sorry for that! I have been feeling unmotivated lately when it comes to
photographing things and writing but I'm trying to work on some things so that I can create more

The infected are trapped by strategically placed trucks that are blocking their path. Only one at a
time would be able to squeeze through, not enough to create an actual threat. Rick is creating a plan
to excavate the walkers when one truck falls off the ledge, leaving an open path for the walkers to
travel.
I guess this discovery determines how Alexandria has stayed in tact for so long. But the bigger
problem is, how are they going to get rid of these walkers so they don't become a larger threat.
This is where the episode kind of lost me...Ricks plan is to basically lead the infected 20 miles away.
Doesn't this seem a bit ridiculous? Why couldn't they set them on fire? Or at least come up with a
different plan. I find it hard to believe they couldn't think of something other than this complicated
and insane idea to lead infected away with noise and using Daryl as bait. I understand that it makes
things interesting but it just seemed like such a stretch to me.
Another grievence I had with this episode is the character, Carter. We meet him and he is obviously
very apprehensive towards Rick. He even tries to create a plan to kill Rick before he gets anyone
killed. Eugene overhears this plan and almost gets shot but Rick comes into the house just in time

Walking Into The Bowling Alley
Walking reluctantly into the bowling alley on a Thursday for my first practice was nerve racking.
Pushing myself through the door wasn't easy, and I was instantly overcome with feelings of
trepidation. All of my teammates were well prepared, confident, with their chests held high. Why
couldn't I be like that? Looking around, I noticed everyone had a ball, shoes, and a bag. I
immediately felt terribly apprehensive and hesitant. I turned to my brother, pleading with him to

I have many jobs, but one that I like in particular is dog walking. I love animals so much, so this job
doesn't seem so much like a job, as it does just something I would do for fun on an everyday basis. I
walk my neighbor's dogs all the time, and I also get paid for doing it.
My neighbor has four dogs, and they're all extremely sweet. Even though this job is fun, I also have
to take it very serious at times. This job has taught me a lot about responsibility, and taking control
of my actions. Like for example, one time my neighbor's dog Buddy ran away while, I was trying to
get control of all the other dogs. I started to panic as soon I thought about how mad my neighbor
would be if she would have found out about Buddy running away, but somehow I still remained to
keep calm. I immediately started to search everywhere for him, and after 2 hours of looking
everywhere for him; I finally found him at a park. I had learned a really important lesson that day,
and that lesson was that any job anyone has taken some seriousness out of that person in order for
that job to be done right sometimes.
This job has a lot of responsibility that needs to go into it, as well as the seriousness it takes in order

When I say walking is fading, I don't necessary mean no one ever walks. But what I mean by that is

The Importance Of Walking Under Steady State Conditions
The current knowledge available from the literature on walking at different speeds assumes a direct
relationship between the level of activity of lower extremities muscles and speed. Several studies in
the past have looked into this relationship for walking under steady–state conditions. In this section
we review these studies and their findings and we highlight limitations of their approaches and
discuss the suggestions to expand the analysis to walking under transient conditions.
Hof et al. [21] were one of the first groups to measure surface electromyograms (EMGs) from
subjects walking at different speeds. Five speeds were instructed for over ground walking and
EMGs were measured for ten walking steps at each speed. Parts of EMG profiles showed
considerable changes with speed while other parts did not show any changes. The authors suggested
that the activity at any speed could be estimated through a linear interpolation of sum of the profile
at the lowest speed and a function that represents the increase in the activity per unit increase of
normalized speed. One limitation of the calculations here was lack of statistical tests. Because of
this shortcoming the linear interpolation model could be used to make reliable conclusions only
about the effect of speed on the activity in the vicinity of the peak of each signal. Without building
the confidence intervals we cannot infer the effect of speed on activation profiles over the entire gait
