Option 2
We have decided to design two cans for our brand to show how we would adapt the cans for different flavours. For our first flavour, we
have chosen to name it ‘Original’ as our brand colour is blue. For our second flavour we have chosen to name it ‘Orange’ as it is mainly
orange with mango. Here are our colour scheme possibilities for each can as we wanted to use one main colour with a range of shades to
spread around the designs.
4. Packaging
Here are some designs existing energy drinks. We have looked at some darker designs, brighter designs and bolder designs, all in a minimal
design style as it is more appealing for our target market. We have adapted the design with 5 cans to suit our ideas as a prototype for our
initial ideas. Our other design idea is similar to the bottom left design as our logo is an eagle so the wings would wrap around the can.
5. Ideas
Here our some of ideas we have
come up with whilst looking at our
research. We have started the
design of our logo, a can design
and chosen our brand font.
For our video advert we are
thinking of creating an animation
of the packaging coming together
to see the development.
6. Market Research
The main age range for our brand is 16-30 as energy drinks
are widely consumed by older teenagers and and young
adults.
The main gender for energy drinks is male but our brand will
be unisex as we want to expand the energy drink industry to
make more sales.
The global energy drinks market size was valued at $53.01
billion in 2018 which means that there is always a high
demand for our products. The industry is expected to grow
to reach $86.01 billion by 2026 which will help us expand
our brand and flavours.

• Energy drinks have long been innovators in
the content marketing space. So it’s
enlightening to check out the posting habits,
engagement levels, and themes of the top

we’ll analyze 5 category leaders. Red Bull,
Monster Energy.
• From the graph we can see that red bull is the
leading energy drink company on social
media which will give them free
advertisement from their own social media
accounts.
• We can also see from all the brands that
Twitter is the biggest social media platform
for promoting all the new and old flavours.
