- 2. #iwmw17 #b3 Between IWMW 2017 & IWMW 2018 From Comms Infrastructure (B3): • I do not work in a silo - I am a member of a community - the web/digital managers community in higher education. We have shared values and goals. • In order to realise these goals I will work collaboratively with my peers. I will share experiences. I will ask for help and I will help others. • I will do this through use of a portfolio of tools (I will use tools which reflect my personal preferences). 2
- 3. #iwmw17 #b3 Personal Action Plans Some ideas • Revisit digital team blog (cf St Andrews) • Use iwmw.org/blog/ as central blog for community • Regular (monthly?) chats on specific topic on he-digital Slack group • Private chats with individuals on Slack • Share ideas for blog titles that I would love to read (“How I solved my CMA problems”) – which may inspire others to write • Revive UK HE Web Professionals LinkedIn Group Don’t forget the physical world: • Regional meetings (and learn from Scottish Web Folk) • Ring(!) people you’ve met for a chat Evaluate what we’re done for comms at IWMW 2018! 3
