My first digital venture was when I volunteered to be the webmaster for my sailing club back in 2003. Since then I’ve been involved in many organisations digital strategies. In 2009 I got a job as the first social media manager & e-commerce manager at a large publishing house in London. As an early adopter of social media I was asked to give talks about the subject and this led me to speak professionally about social media, digital transformation and leadership. In the last few years I’ve spoken around the world, I’ve consulted and helped businesses to get their digital strategy up and running, and I’ve written for publications such as CMO.com and Huffington Post.
