• 29 September 1547 – 22 April 1616
• Known as the best Spanish author, he´s worldwide
famous for his novel “Don Quixote”
• He took part in the Lepanto Battle and lost there his
hand.
• He was a prisoner of the pirates for 5 years.
• He published all his books between 1585-1617.
• He developed different jobs during his life.
• He died of type II diabetes.
3. THE DIALOGUE OF THE DOGS
• The story is based in a conversation between two dogs,
Berganza and Scipio, which is overheared by a wounded
soldier. These dogs find themselves able to talk for the
first time so they have a lot of stories to tell each other.
They constitute the perfect mouthpiece for Cevartes.
