Decameron by Boccaccio was the most important influence on
Chaucer when he wrote The Canterbury Tales. In fact,
Chaucer wrote several stories very similar to the stories by
Boccaccio.

+They have stories short which are told by a group of pilgrins.
+They talk about love, human intelligence and fortune.
+The structure of both books is similar.
+ Most tales are written in verse.

+ The character of Decameron are rich people but the character
of Canterbury Tales are humble people from different social
classes.
+ Decameron has 100 tales and Canterbury tales 24 stories.
+ Decameron was written in Italian and Canterbury tales in
Esglish.

are fantastic and in Canterbury tales the character are real.
