On December 22nd Children take balls with
numbers out of big drums that spin and sing
the numbers and prizes.
These children are always from the same
school, where there are students with few
resources.

It’s like a bun of sweet mass,
with candied fruit slices
around and filled with cream

There is a bean inside. If you
find it, you pay for the bun.
There is also a small figure
and if you find it, you’ll be
lucky.
7. TRADITIONS
A type of sweet made of honey, egg whites, almonds and
hazelnuts.

8. TRADITIONS
At 12:00 am, when the New Year starts we eat a grape with each
chime of the clock to have good luck each month in the year.

9. The 3
Wise Men
After the Christmas parade, the 3 Wise men go to the
Town Hall to listen what the kids want for Christmas.
They bring presents on the night of January the 5th.
Before going to sleep, children usually leave
something
to eat for their camels.
(Nowadays, some children also get presents
from Santa Claus)
10. Christmas market
There is a market with a lot of food,
Christmas decorations…in the main
square of the city.
