This document summarizes a study on removing arsenic from aqueous solutions using fly ash and bottom ash. Column studies were conducted using iron-coated fly ash and bottom ash to develop breakthrough curves at different flow rates. For bottom ash at 3 ml/min flow, breakthrough was reached at 76.67 hours and 26 hours for 6 ml/min flow. Fly ash could not be effectively tested due to fineness causing flow issues. The study evaluated the performance of modified fly ash and bottom ash for arsenic removal through continuous experiments and column studies.
