This study investigated the effects of heavy school bags on students aged 8-12 years. A survey of 100 students found that 81% used dual-strap backpacks and over 80% experienced musculoskeletal discomfort from heavy bags. Common issues included back pain and poor posture. Most students traveled to school partly by bus and foot. Student needs like more storage, durability, and lighter weight were identified. A new school bag concept was developed with CATIA V5 software and rendered in KeyShot for realistic graphics. The proposed bag aimed to better distribute weight, include adjustable clips, and allow modular use to reduce stress on shoulders during travel.
