3. This week
You will be continuing to work on your multi-camera
productions in your groups.
You will need to work professionally and productively if
you are to complete your production on time and to plan,
showing skill and a positive attitude to your work.
4. By the end of today, you
MUST be able to work professionally and productively
throughout the lesson
SHOULD set clear goals for the day and meet these
COULD be positive and proactive in your work,
exceeding your producers expectations
5. One of the things you are graded
on in this unit is your
professionalism
6. What do we mean by
professionalism?
“the conduct, aims, or
qualities that characterize or
mark a profession or a
professional person”
7. What qualities make someone
professional?
Hard-working & productive
Works well with others (team player)
Works well on their own (independent)
Pleasant manner
Sensitive to others feelings
Good communicator
Good time-keeper, punctual
Positive attitude to work (PAINS)
9. If you can’t do your job…
There’s a thousand other people out there who can do it
cheaper, better and more reliably.
10. Task 1
Producers, lead your team meeting. Identify what needs
to be done and who needs to do it. Make sure everyone is
clear on what they need to do.
Everyone needs to set themselves 1 goal to complete by
the end of the lesson. Producers need to feed these back
to me in ten minutes.
11. Task 2
Continue to plan your multi-camera gameshow / music
show.
Act professionally and be productive in your work. If you
are unsure how to proceed then speak to your producer.
If you complete your work then who else could you help,
and how could you do it?
12. Team feedback.
Lets see if we achieved our goals.
Producers need to lead a team meeting and check who has
achieved their goals, who has not, and why this is. Were you
productive enough? Did you show positivity in your work? Did
you go the extra mile?
Identify how you can overcome any problems you have
encountered, and plan to meet outstanding goals next lesson.
