LO4 Pitch
INTRODUCTION
Welcome to my Pitch on both magazine ideas
PRESIDENT and STATE.
Summary of Ideas
The genre of my two magazines is going to be hip-hop.
The colours of my first magazines are going to be white
and blue. However my second magazine will be red and
black. As these two colours contrast well, I am not
reinventing the wheel as my magazine of inspiration
has two colours contrasting.
The price of my two magazines will be three pounds as
this is 50p cheaper then my magazine of inspiration.
Finally, the size of the two magazines is going to be A4
size.

The colour scheme
of the first magazine
will be blue and
white. This is
because the two
colours will contrast
really well. This is
like the ā€˜Vibeā€™
magazine with red
and white. However
the second
magazine will be red
and black.
The price of
the magazine
will be 3.00
pound as this
is 50p cheaper
then my
magazine of
inspiration so
it will sell.
The target audience of the
magazine will be between
the ages of 16-35, this is due
to the fact that the genre is
hip hop. I have based my idea
from ā€˜Vibeā€™ magazine. As I
want to be able to sell as
many magazines as possible.
My magazine will be release monthly
as this is when ā€˜vibeā€™ is released. This
is because people will be used to this
routine.
On my front cover I will include a image of a
famous hip-hop artist as this will attracted the
reader using ā€˜star appealā€™ (Richard Dyer). Also
I will have other pictures of artists too as this
will attract the reader. I will also be having a a
medium close up for the front cover.
The masthead will be going across
the top of the page on every issue.
As this will be recognized by the
reader every time. Also the use of
two contrasting colours to make it
stand out.
Proposal ā€“ President

Proposal - STATE
Proposal - STATE
Justification of Masthead names
I have chosen ā€˜STATEā€™ and ā€˜Presidentā€™ as they both relate back
to America and the genre of hip-hop came from America as an
underground urban movement known as "Hip Hop" began to
develop in the South Bronx in New York City. It focused on
emceeing (or MCing), breakbeats, and house parties.
President is associated with someone of high status connoting
my magazine will equally be of high status.
The denotation of the title of my magazine is STATE. The
connotations behind this is that Hip-hop originated in New
York and New York can be classed as a state. New York is a
well known place and is seen as a famous, must see attraction
therefore this links with my magazine as I want my magazine
to become famous and well known.

Graphic layout conclusion
Graphic layouts are good because you can do
more detailed designs for the magazine front
cover and DPS then the hand drawn drafts. This
means that it will give a better and clearer of
what the end product will be like then the hand
drawn drafts.
Magazine One Hand Drawn Drafts
(Front Cover)
HAND DRAWN DRAFTS (DPS)
Magazine two hand drawn drafts
(Front Cover)
Magazine two hand drawn drafts (DPS)
Hand drawn drafts conclusion
Hand drawn drafts enable me to draw out what I
want my magazines to look like as a rough idea.
They are good as you can continually make
changes to them as they are in pencil. Also they
are very simple to do and donā€™t take much skill
so anyone would be able to do this. It is a good
thing as you can see what the magazine might
look like.
Product Target Audience
According to Katzā€™ Uses & Gratifications theory this
magazineā€™s aim is to ā€˜inform and educateā€™ the reader in all
their issues as every issue has different and interesting
content in it. Through the inclusion of language such as
ā€˜Exclusiveā€™ ā€“ they aim to ā€˜injectā€™ (Hypodermic needle theory ā€“
Katz & Lazarfeld ā€“ 1955) the reader with the latest coverage of
that particular artist/band/album etc.
Maslowā€™s Hierarchy of Needs
Explorers- The readers of my magazines would stereotypically
be classed as ā€˜explorersā€™ as the magazine includes new stories
and different artists every month in their new issues. The
reader would want to know this because then they can
become more interested in new bands and artists and want to
enjoy new music types.
Product Target Audience
The target audience for my magazines are the
younger generation, female and males aged 16
to 30 (Hartley) however the majority of the
magazine readers are male. who want to learn
more about music. However my magazine
doesn'tā€™t appeal to many women is this age
group as the magazine are the hip-hop genre
and there aren't many female hip-hop artists.
http://louisejaynehudson.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/q-
magazine-reader-profile-analysis.html
Target Audience Spending Power
My target audience will be for BC1, this is
because this is quite high up on the socio-
economic needs table. Also I think that this
people will have that spare money to spend on a
magazine unlike people in E who need to budget
their money so they donā€™t spend it on things
they donā€™t need. This mean so will have a bigger
spending power.
House Style - PRESIDENT
The color scheme to my first magazine is light blue and a light grey. As these
two colours contrast each other. The colour blue connotes loyalty highlighting
that my magazine will contain accurate information. The colour blue is easy to
see and connotes my magazine will have pure and trustful information. The
light grey denotes a neutral colour, the connotations behind the colour grey is
that it is quite cool and contemporary.
Furthermore, I will have social media logos on my page to keep up with the
brand identity and it is an example of cross-media convergence, ā€˜digital
nativesā€™ (Prensky 2001) will like being ā€œcourted across multiple media
platformsā€ (Jenkins 2006).
House Style - STATE
The colours I am using for the ā€˜STATEā€™ magazine is red and light grey as these
contrast well with each other. The colour red connotes passion therefore the
editor of the magazine will be passionate about the information they produce
will be passionate and full of energy. Furthermore the colour red connotes
power which means that the whole magazine working force will be powerful
in making the magazine and working together. The second colour light grey
connotes cool which means that the magazine will be cool and trendy on the
magazine market.
Furthermore, I will have social media logos on my page to keep up with the
brand identity and it is an example of cross-media convergence, ā€˜digital
nativesā€™ (Prensky 2001) will like being ā€œcourted across multiple media
platformsā€ (Jenkins 2006).
Inspiration analysis
Main Image- This main
image is of Kendrick Lamar
who is a well known star
across the world. This is
called ā€˜star appealā€™. As lots
of people know who
Kendrick Lamar is so they
are more likely to by this
magazine especially if they
have a interview with him.
Barcode- The barcode is
there so they can sell the
magazine
Cover lines- The cover lines
are used to attracted the
reader to read more of the
magazine. They are quotes
from what people have said
which are normally interesting
and outrageous so the reader
in drawn in by it.
Masthead- The masthead is
bold but very simple.
However this is significant
as you know that it is ā€˜Vibeā€™
magazine very quickly on
the shopping shelves. The
colours work well together
as they contrast with each
other. As it is called ā€˜Vibeā€™
this connotes that it is
aimed at young adults
people.
Header- This informs the reader
what types of articles are within
the issue of magazine. In this
particular magazine I is ā€˜Who is
musicā€™s number one genius?ā€™. This
is used to draw the reader in, as
they would like to read more
about it. The use of the
superlative ā€˜number oneā€™ conveys
these artists are the people to be
listing to so this also draws the
reader in.
Strapline- The strapline for ā€˜Vibeā€™ magazine is
ā€˜redefining hip hopā€™ which implies that you
can find out about hip hop music in this
magazine so this means more people will buy
it.
Inspiration Analysis (DPS)
Headline- This head
line is always the
main heading on the
front cover so this
means that it is the
main story in the
magazine. This
headline is
particularly
interesting so this
will make the reader
want to read more
about it. Kendrick
Lamarā€™s name is on
the top in the colour
black and bold as
this is a contrast to
the white
background.
Main Image- The main image
is of Kendrick Lamar who is
also featured on the front
cover as he is well known and
this is called ā€˜star appealā€™.
There are two colours used in
this image. Black connotes
the hip hop magazine. The
second colour is white which
is a contrast to black so it
stands out more. Further
more Kendrick Lamar is
wearing a gold chain as he is
conveying himself as a hip
hop artist.Quote from interview- This is a
quote from Kendrick Lamar which is
inspirational which will make the
reader want to fond out more on
Kendrick Lamarā€™s interview and his
character.
What will you repeat? (Steve Neale 1980)
I will be repeating the masthead across the top of
the front cover with the fade going down. Also I will
be repeating the contrast of colours however I will
be using blue and white. Also I will be having a
main image of an hip hop artist on the front cover
as well. The image will be a close up of the artist
like the the image on the left.
My front cover will also have cover stories going
down he sides too. Also I will be having a barcode
in the bottom corner like the ā€˜Vibeā€™ magazine does.
What will I Repeat? (DPS)
I will be repeating the large and
bold heading on the top of the
page and a large image of the
artist that I will be talking about
on the other page filling the
page and the whole article
underneath the main heading.
Furthermore I will be having
quotes from the artist
underneath the image.

Test Photography
This is the photos that I took for my front cover and DPS. For my front cover photo
is the second photo from the left and my DPS photo is the third photo from the left.
I chose to use these images as they looked the best on the front cover DPS.

I have chosen this font as it
is very similar to my
magazine of inspiration.
This is good as I am not re-
inventing the wheel. As
most magazines have bold
fonts.
I have chosen this font
as it is similar to ā€˜Vibeā€™
but not as similar as the
other font. However this
font is more squashed
together.

Staff and cost (LOSS)
As you can see from the table
on the left it shows the staff
jobs and how much they will
be paid. The salary is a fair
amount due to the nature of
the job and the higher the hill
level the higher the salary will
be. For example an publisher
and editor is a much more
higher skilled job then a
photographer for the
magazine.
Staff Position Salary
Publisher 37,500
Editor 32.500
Journalists 32,500
Writers 37,500
Photographers 30,750

Equipment and cost (LOSS)

Apple MacBook (x25) Ā£29,975
Adobe C5.6 master collection Ā£9,179
Desks (x25) Ā£937.25

Printer Ā£79.99
Cameras (x3) Ā£687
Pens Ā£9.58
Paper Ā£9.16
Total 254,606.73
The table above illustrates the type of equipment that we will be using and how much
the equipment will cost to buy. Obviously the most expensive bit of equipment will be
the office space leading right down to the paper which will be used for most things
around the office.
Marketing the magazine (loss)
I will market the magazine on all platforms possible which includes apps, also
I will be marketing my magazine on billboards and other magazine
advertisement which is a form of below the line marketing.
One major platform would be Facebook. This is because Facebook has
millions perhaps billions of users who use it and it is without a doubt that
someone would come across the advertisement on it. Another major
platform is Instagram. I will try and advertise on it because millions of people
are on it and there is always and advertisement or two when scrolling down
to look at other peoples stories. Snapchat is also another major platform,
however not everyone looks at the news side on it therefore we do not want
to waste money on advertisement on a platform that no one even looks at.
These are all forms of above the line marketing which is good as the possible
amount of people that will e able to see the magazine is so much more higher
hen any other type of marketing. To advertise my magazine on Facebook it
will cost Ā£28.72 a month Ā£344.64 a year.
Printing Quotes and Costs (loss)
I will be printing about 15,000 copies and it will all add up to Ā£3907.63.
http://print24.com/uk/product/magazines/
Advertising revenue ā€“ this is how you
are going to make money!!
In my magazine 17 full pages of advertisement
which comes to 5,005 pounds a page so in total
it will come to 85,085. Also 15 half pages of
advertisement which are 2,752 and the total
comes to 41,280.
All
together
comes to
126,365
Subscription sales (profit)
Subscription for 12 months for the cost of 8
months.
8x3.00= Ā£24.00
If I sold 8,000 subscriptions I would make
192,000
I did this by doing 8,000 x Ā£24.00
How many magazines will I sell ā€“
budget summary
If I sold 12,000 magazines in a year at the cost of
Ā£3.00 I would make Ā£36,000.
Budget Summary OVERIEW
Profit and loss break down
Profit
1. Money from selling
magazine - Ā£36,000
2. Advertising revenue
- Ā£126,315
3. Subscription sales ā€“

TOTAL: Ā£354,315
Loss
1. Equipment cost-

2. Staff cost- Ā£311,000
3. Printing- Ā£3907.63
4. Advertising the
magazine- Ā£344.64
TOTAL: Ā£569,859
Profit minus loss = -215,544
Distribution to retailer
ā€¢ http://www.frontlinedistribution.co.uk
I am going to distribute my magazine to all of
the big superstores like Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda
etc. As thousands of people shop here every
day, which means that lots of people will be able
to see my magazine and are able to buy the
magazine. There will be no set cost to distribute.
Future Plan for the magazine
I would like to sell at least double the amount so
30,000 in the next 2 years from the launch date.
If was to happen I would earn Ā£90,000 just from
the magazine sales. Therefore I would earn
Ā£408,315 in that year of selling double the
magazines.

Environment of presentation
I have taken images of the environment of where I presented my
pitch.
Firstly, I used a clicker to help to guide myself through the pitch.
This enabled me to click through the slides without looking at the
board the whole time. The clicker also has a laser which helped
me to point important things out about my magazine on the
board.
Secondly, I used a camera and a tripod to film my pitch. I filmed
my pitch so that I can review myself presenting and improve upon
my presenting skills.
Also I used a smart board to present my pitch on as it is a very big
board so my audience is able to my work clearly.

Hip Hop Mag Pitch

  • 2. INTRODUCTION Welcome to my Pitch on both magazine ideas PRESIDENT and STATE.
  • 3. Summary of Ideas The genre of my two magazines is going to be hip-hop. The colours of my first magazines are going to be white and blue. However my second magazine will be red and black. As these two colours contrast well, I am not reinventing the wheel as my magazine of inspiration has two colours contrasting. The price of my two magazines will be three pounds as this is 50p cheaper then my magazine of inspiration. Finally, the size of the two magazines is going to be A4 size.
  • 4. My Magazines President STATE Target Audience Color SchemesPrice Masthead Names Brand identity Images Frequency 1. Vertex 2. H-H (Hip-Hop) 3. Mondo 4. Future 5. Fated 6. Unborn 7. President 8. State The colour scheme of the first magazine will be blue and white. This is because the two colours will contrast really well. This is like the ā€˜Vibeā€™ magazine with red and white. However the second magazine will be red and black. The price of the magazine will be 3.00 pound as this is 50p cheaper then my magazine of inspiration so it will sell. The target audience of the magazine will be between the ages of 16-35, this is due to the fact that the genre is hip hop. I have based my idea from ā€˜Vibeā€™ magazine. As I want to be able to sell as many magazines as possible. My magazine will be release monthly as this is when ā€˜vibeā€™ is released. This is because people will be used to this routine. On my front cover I will include a image of a famous hip-hop artist as this will attracted the reader using ā€˜star appealā€™ (Richard Dyer). Also I will have other pictures of artists too as this will attract the reader. I will also be having a a medium close up for the front cover. The masthead will be going across the top of the page on every issue. As this will be recognized by the reader every time. Also the use of two contrasting colours to make it stand out.
  • 9. Justification of Masthead names I have chosen ā€˜STATEā€™ and ā€˜Presidentā€™ as they both relate back to America and the genre of hip-hop came from America as an underground urban movement known as "Hip Hop" began to develop in the South Bronx in New York City. It focused on emceeing (or MCing), breakbeats, and house parties. President is associated with someone of high status connoting my magazine will equally be of high status. The denotation of the title of my magazine is STATE. The connotations behind this is that Hip-hop originated in New York and New York can be classed as a state. New York is a well known place and is seen as a famous, must see attraction therefore this links with my magazine as I want my magazine to become famous and well known.

  • 18. Graphic layout conclusion Graphic layouts are good because you can do more detailed designs for the magazine front cover and DPS then the hand drawn drafts. This means that it will give a better and clearer of what the end product will be like then the hand drawn drafts.
  • 19. Magazine One Hand Drawn Drafts (Front Cover)
  • 21. Magazine two hand drawn drafts (Front Cover)
  • 22. Magazine two hand drawn drafts (DPS)
  • 23. Hand drawn drafts conclusion Hand drawn drafts enable me to draw out what I want my magazines to look like as a rough idea. They are good as you can continually make changes to them as they are in pencil. Also they are very simple to do and donā€™t take much skill so anyone would be able to do this. It is a good thing as you can see what the magazine might look like.
  • 24. Product Target Audience According to Katzā€™ Uses & Gratifications theory this magazineā€™s aim is to ā€˜inform and educateā€™ the reader in all their issues as every issue has different and interesting content in it. Through the inclusion of language such as ā€˜Exclusiveā€™ ā€“ they aim to ā€˜injectā€™ (Hypodermic needle theory ā€“ Katz & Lazarfeld ā€“ 1955) the reader with the latest coverage of that particular artist/band/album etc. Maslowā€™s Hierarchy of Needs Explorers- The readers of my magazines would stereotypically be classed as ā€˜explorersā€™ as the magazine includes new stories and different artists every month in their new issues. The reader would want to know this because then they can become more interested in new bands and artists and want to enjoy new music types.
  • 25. Product Target Audience The target audience for my magazines are the younger generation, female and males aged 16 to 30 (Hartley) however the majority of the magazine readers are male. who want to learn more about music. However my magazine doesn'tā€™t appeal to many women is this age group as the magazine are the hip-hop genre and there aren't many female hip-hop artists. http://louisejaynehudson.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/q- magazine-reader-profile-analysis.html
  • 26. Target Audience Spending Power My target audience will be for BC1, this is because this is quite high up on the socio- economic needs table. Also I think that this people will have that spare money to spend on a magazine unlike people in E who need to budget their money so they donā€™t spend it on things they donā€™t need. This mean so will have a bigger spending power.
  • 27. House Style - PRESIDENT The color scheme to my first magazine is light blue and a light grey. As these two colours contrast each other. The colour blue connotes loyalty highlighting that my magazine will contain accurate information. The colour blue is easy to see and connotes my magazine will have pure and trustful information. The light grey denotes a neutral colour, the connotations behind the colour grey is that it is quite cool and contemporary. Furthermore, I will have social media logos on my page to keep up with the brand identity and it is an example of cross-media convergence, ā€˜digital nativesā€™ (Prensky 2001) will like being ā€œcourted across multiple media platformsā€ (Jenkins 2006).
  • 28. House Style - STATE The colours I am using for the ā€˜STATEā€™ magazine is red and light grey as these contrast well with each other. The colour red connotes passion therefore the editor of the magazine will be passionate about the information they produce will be passionate and full of energy. Furthermore the colour red connotes power which means that the whole magazine working force will be powerful in making the magazine and working together. The second colour light grey connotes cool which means that the magazine will be cool and trendy on the magazine market. Furthermore, I will have social media logos on my page to keep up with the brand identity and it is an example of cross-media convergence, ā€˜digital nativesā€™ (Prensky 2001) will like being ā€œcourted across multiple media platformsā€ (Jenkins 2006).
  • 29. Inspiration analysis Main Image- This main image is of Kendrick Lamar who is a well known star across the world. This is called ā€˜star appealā€™. As lots of people know who Kendrick Lamar is so they are more likely to by this magazine especially if they have a interview with him. Barcode- The barcode is there so they can sell the magazine Cover lines- The cover lines are used to attracted the reader to read more of the magazine. They are quotes from what people have said which are normally interesting and outrageous so the reader in drawn in by it. Masthead- The masthead is bold but very simple. However this is significant as you know that it is ā€˜Vibeā€™ magazine very quickly on the shopping shelves. The colours work well together as they contrast with each other. As it is called ā€˜Vibeā€™ this connotes that it is aimed at young adults people. Header- This informs the reader what types of articles are within the issue of magazine. In this particular magazine I is ā€˜Who is musicā€™s number one genius?ā€™. This is used to draw the reader in, as they would like to read more about it. The use of the superlative ā€˜number oneā€™ conveys these artists are the people to be listing to so this also draws the reader in. Strapline- The strapline for ā€˜Vibeā€™ magazine is ā€˜redefining hip hopā€™ which implies that you can find out about hip hop music in this magazine so this means more people will buy it.
  • 30. Inspiration Analysis (DPS) Headline- This head line is always the main heading on the front cover so this means that it is the main story in the magazine. This headline is particularly interesting so this will make the reader want to read more about it. Kendrick Lamarā€™s name is on the top in the colour black and bold as this is a contrast to the white background. Main Image- The main image is of Kendrick Lamar who is also featured on the front cover as he is well known and this is called ā€˜star appealā€™. There are two colours used in this image. Black connotes the hip hop magazine. The second colour is white which is a contrast to black so it stands out more. Further more Kendrick Lamar is wearing a gold chain as he is conveying himself as a hip hop artist.Quote from interview- This is a quote from Kendrick Lamar which is inspirational which will make the reader want to fond out more on Kendrick Lamarā€™s interview and his character.
  • 31. What will you repeat? (Steve Neale 1980) I will be repeating the masthead across the top of the front cover with the fade going down. Also I will be repeating the contrast of colours however I will be using blue and white. Also I will be having a main image of an hip hop artist on the front cover as well. The image will be a close up of the artist like the the image on the left. My front cover will also have cover stories going down he sides too. Also I will be having a barcode in the bottom corner like the ā€˜Vibeā€™ magazine does.
  • 32. What will I Repeat? (DPS) I will be repeating the large and bold heading on the top of the page and a large image of the artist that I will be talking about on the other page filling the page and the whole article underneath the main heading. Furthermore I will be having quotes from the artist underneath the image.

  • 36. Test Photography This is the photos that I took for my front cover and DPS. For my front cover photo is the second photo from the left and my DPS photo is the third photo from the left. I chose to use these images as they looked the best on the front cover DPS.

  • 38. Chosen Fonts Bad Stories by imagex yborg Rooster Ć  ā‚¬ by Iconian Fonts I have chosen this font as it is very similar to my magazine of inspiration. This is good as I am not re- inventing the wheel. As most magazines have bold fonts. I have chosen this font as it is similar to ā€˜Vibeā€™ but not as similar as the other font. However this font is more squashed together.

  • 47. Staff and cost (LOSS) As you can see from the table on the left it shows the staff jobs and how much they will be paid. The salary is a fair amount due to the nature of the job and the higher the hill level the higher the salary will be. For example an publisher and editor is a much more higher skilled job then a photographer for the magazine. Staff Position Salary Publisher 37,500 Editor 32.500 Journalists 32,500 Writers 37,500 Photographers 30,750 Marketing 32,500 Finance 37,750 Design 37,500 HR 32,500 Total 311,000 https://www.totaljobs.com/salary- checker/salary-calculator

Obviously the most expensive bit of equipment will be the office space leading right down to the paper which will be used for most things around the office.
  • 49. Marketing the magazine (loss) I will market the magazine on all platforms possible which includes apps, also I will be marketing my magazine on billboards and other magazine advertisement which is a form of below the line marketing. One major platform would be Facebook. This is because Facebook has millions perhaps billions of users who use it and it is without a doubt that someone would come across the advertisement on it. Another major platform is Instagram. I will try and advertise on it because millions of people are on it and there is always and advertisement or two when scrolling down to look at other peoples stories. Snapchat is also another major platform, however not everyone looks at the news side on it therefore we do not want to waste money on advertisement on a platform that no one even looks at. These are all forms of above the line marketing which is good as the possible amount of people that will e able to see the magazine is so much more higher hen any other type of marketing. To advertise my magazine on Facebook it will cost Ā£28.72 a month Ā£344.64 a year.
  • 50. Printing Quotes and Costs (loss) I will be printing about 15,000 copies and it will all add up to Ā£3907.63. http://print24.com/uk/product/magazines/
  • 51. Advertising revenue ā€“ this is how you are going to make money!! In my magazine 17 full pages of advertisement which comes to 5,005 pounds a page so in total it will come to 85,085. Also 15 half pages of advertisement which are 2,752 and the total comes to 41,280. All together comes to 126,365
  • 52. Subscription sales (profit) Subscription for 12 months for the cost of 8 months. 8x3.00= Ā£24.00 If I sold 8,000 subscriptions I would make 192,000 I did this by doing 8,000 x Ā£24.00
  • 53. How many magazines will I sell ā€“ budget summary If I sold 12,000 magazines in a year at the cost of Ā£3.00 I would make Ā£36,000.
  • 54. Budget Summary OVERIEW Profit and loss break down Profit 1. Money from selling magazine - Ā£36,000 2. Advertising revenue - Ā£126,315 3. Subscription sales ā€“ Ā£192,000 TOTAL: Ā£354,315 Loss 1. Equipment cost- Ā£254,606.73 2. Staff cost- Ā£311,000 3. Printing- Ā£3907.63 4. Advertising the magazine- Ā£344.64 TOTAL: Ā£569,859 Profit minus loss = -215,544
  • 55. Distribution to retailer ā€¢ http://www.frontlinedistribution.co.uk I am going to distribute my magazine to all of the big superstores like Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda etc. As thousands of people shop here every day, which means that lots of people will be able to see my magazine and are able to buy the magazine. There will be no set cost to distribute.
  • 56. Future Plan for the magazine I would like to sell at least double the amount so 30,000 in the next 2 years from the launch date. If was to happen I would earn Ā£90,000 just from the magazine sales. Therefore I would earn Ā£408,315 in that year of selling double the magazines.
  • 58. End of Pitch - Survey monkey https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/MRJYGFT
  • 59. Environment of presentation I have taken images of the environment of where I presented my pitch. Firstly, I used a clicker to help to guide myself through the pitch. This enabled me to click through the slides without looking at the board the whole time. The clicker also has a laser which helped me to point important things out about my magazine on the board. Secondly, I used a camera and a tripod to film my pitch. I filmed my pitch so that I can review myself presenting and improve upon my presenting skills. Also I used a smart board to present my pitch on as it is a very big board so my audience is able to my work clearly.
