6. Sound Effects/Dialogue
Sound Effects
I will need sound effects of machine guns firing for the entirety of the game. I will get them
off freeSFX.com or I can use Beepbox to make them.
I will need a loud roaring sound effect for the monster running loose in college. This is very
important as it will make my monster sound and feel more real. I will probably need sound
effects websites for the roar.
I will need cheering and applause at the end for when the monster dies and other students
are applauding its defeat.
There needs to be music playing during the fighting to add tension and excitement to what’s
happening.
7. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
All my work/data could somehow get
lost.
Back up work onto memory stick,
save it in H: Drive or I could email it to
myself.
Computer could crash and I lose saved
work.
Save work constantly so it doesn’t get
lost.
Can’t access work at college. Take memory stick home so you always
have it with you.
Memory stick gets lost. Save all my work onto my personal
computer at home so I always have it with
me.
Don’t have enough time to finish work. Take work home so I have time to work on it
there or just don’t rush what I’m doing.
8. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Back could hurt from sitting on the chair for
too long.
Stand up and walk around for a bit.
Eyes could hurt from looking at the screen for
too long.
Take a break from looking at the screen and
come back to it after a few minutes.
I could start to feel tired from being motionless
by sitting on the chair for too long.
Have a walk around for a bit and/or get
something to eat/drink to give you more
energy.
I could get a headache from the screen. Leave the screen and get something to
drink.
Getting an electric shock. Stay away/don’t touch any live wires.

Explore colours and pixel art styles similar to what you want to produce. Discuss these elements in relation to why you chose them and where you may use them in your project. Go over as many pages as you need to.
Mock up of a potential design using the colours and sourced images. Alter this slide to make it appropriate for your planned product types. Use the content established in your style sheet to do this.
