2. Process
The first thing I did was to type my title in then come up
with appropriate font to go along with it. I then knew what
I was going to do with my design and create a little logo to
go at the bottom of it and because the font I picked had a
fishing element I put the fish logo and the title together to
make them look like there connected. I then picked the
main background photo for it because I though it looked as
if he was trying to catch the fish. I then put it in to position
of where it was to be, and then put the bar code in the
bottom left corner, and blended the whiteness in to make
it stand into the magazine a lot more. I then using a
different font to make it look more of a print form, did the
date, the issue number, UK and Canada price range as it
looked more realistic, and then did the website address on
the top. Then I researched various things to put in my
fishing magazine with short teaser sentences and used
them as and used a faint cover to make it look it
recognizable.
I then typed up what my main head lie and and anchorage.
then I got a blank red picture form the internet and
cropped it to make it my menu strip.. Then I gathered a
random photo and used “struggle” as my kicker and used
the short bio as my cover line for that being in the
magazine. Then for the banner I used the blue writing at
the top., and found a random picture on the internet of a
new fishing rod with its details, and used it as the plug, for
a chance to win.
3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• The main element I will include in my final
product that I got an idea from the fishing
magazine is to have logo hanging or sitting on
the title.
• Also to retain the same font because its very
artistic in a musical way.
