The questionnaire responses showed that respondents preferred a magazine front cover with a single focal image. They also felt the contents page should have a similar look and theme as the front cover. All respondents agreed the magazine should have a consistent color scheme throughout rather than different colors on different pages. While most felt the front cover should feature an image of a music artist, one respondent suggested it could show a building image, which the creator will try to incorporate elsewhere in the magazine design, such as in a double page spread photograph. Respondents also felt front cover strap lines providing relevant information can be effective but not too many which may deter readers.

2. The questionnaire shows that the respondents believe that one image is more
beneficial and works better on a music magazine. This could be for many reasons, one
being that they prefer one image to be the focus of the magazine. This is is something I
will take onboard when making my own front cover.

3. The majority of the votes found for this question show that the respondents are females, therefore this could
mean that the rest of the results are biased due to the fact that they women. However, because of this result it
shows that the music magazine I will be making should be focused on appealing more to women.

5. Again it shows that the respondents of the questionnaire believe that the contents page
should be similar to that of the front cover, this means they should look similar, hold the
same information as stated on the front cover and portray the same theme and colour
scheme.

6. As this will be a music magazine based on a music artist, it is obvious that the results will show that a picture
should be used. However, there was one result that shows it should be of a building, this would be a hard
aspect to show on the front cover of magazine, however I will try and incorporate this within my magazine,
perhaps a photograph against a brick wall on my double page spread.

7. The results shown above suggest that strap lines on the front cover are
effective, however not too many – this could suggest that too much text
puts the reader off or that it can ruin the look of a magazine. When doing
my own magazine I will take this information onboard and try to use strap
lines which only show relevant information that is interesting, which the
reader can then find more about within the magazine when purchased.
