3. Positives
“Will he wont he” questions the audience allowing them to
become engaged into the interview before they have
initially started reading. This is a real eye opener for many
people, giving them an incentive to carry on reading.
The size of the photo gives the reader a true idea on how
big the stars which are being interviewed actually are. This
gives the audience a genuine reason for wanting to read the
article.
4. Negatives
The layout of the questions and answers could be quite
confusing to a reader. If they have reading difficulties, there
is no indication of a difference between question and
answer, if added with different colours then this problem
may be removed.
There is no feel of comfort for the audience, if a different
colour scheme was applied, then it may allow the reader to
feel more engaged with the interview, and give them a
feeling that the stars are just like them, rather then a
feeling that there miles apart.
5. Conventions which could be used.
The “will he wont he” quote really stands out, this
could be very appropriate for the creation of my end
product, since it may give the magazine a professional
look to it. Whilst engaging the audience with the
interview.

7. Positives
The clear difference between question and answer is a
perfect layout for a double page spread, the audience can
quickly scan for an individual question that they most
particularly want to read.
The colour scheme is very inviting, bright colours with a
range of tones, this gives the magazine a look like its
designed for a younger generations.
The use of a quote on page two gives the audience a
possible feeling that there idols which are being
interviewed are just like them, giving them an incentive to
carry on reading to gain a higher understanding of the
group.
8. Negatives
The use of five different pictures really gives the magazine a
over crowded feel. The use of one or two pictures would
have been more effective for the double page spread.
Again the colour scheme is good, but it attracts a more
female audience, possibly giving the magazine a label
which alienates the male audience, causing them to retract
there interest in the magazine it self.
9. Conventions that could be used
The layout scheme of the question and answer is very
attractive, a different range of colours and fonts may be
adapted for my product, but will be very similar.
The use of a quote in a completely different colour and font
gives a good design to the magazine, and would benefit my
end product highly, since it may attract the target audience
causing them to take a higher interest in my end product.
