2. Q1: What is your opinion of the magazine name?
My results for question
1 show me that each
member of my target
audience has a positive
opinion of my
magazine name. With
comments including it
being memorable,
suitable for the genre
and stands out.
3. Q2: Does the artist on the front cover attract you?
My results show me that more
than 50% of my audience
approved of there being a
female on the front cover.
However, just under 30% of
my audience would have
prefered there to be a group
on the front cover, with 7%
preferring a male on the front
cover. This suggests to me
that in the future I could
include more images on the
front cover, to suit the needs
of my audience.
4. Q3: Does the image on the front cover suit the genre?
My results show me
that nearly all of my
audience think that the
image I used for the
front cover is suitable to
the rock genre, however
1 member of my
audience did not think
this image was suitable
for the genre.
5. Q4: Do the coverlines interest you?
My results show me
that once again nearly
all of my audience
thought the coverlines
were interesting, to
avoid members not
being interested in the
future I could add
different bands to my
coverlines.
6. Q5: Do you think £2.50 is a suitable price?
My results show
me again that
nearly all of my
audience thought
that the price of
the magazine was
suitable, to
improve on these
results I would
have to alter the
cost.
7. Q6: What is your opinion of the colour scheme used?
The results for this
question show me that all
members of my target
audience think that the
colour scheme I used
suited the magazine
genre and was
eyecatching.
8. Q7: What is your opinion of the imagery used?
The results on this question were
all positive which shows me that
my audience thought the images
were suitable, well positioned
and effective.
9. Q8: Would you read the double page spread article?
The results to this question
shows me that nearly all of
my audience would read the
double page spread.
However, to improve these
results I could have made the
double page spread more
appealing or used less text.
10. Q9: Do all the pages in the magazine work together?
The results for this
question shows me
that all of my target
audience thought
that my pages
worked well
together.
11. Q10: Would you buy this magazine?
The results for this
question show me
that nearly all of my
audience would
purchase my
magazine, with one
member not buying
my magazine this
might be due to the
cost of the product
or the lack of
interest.
12. Q11: What improvements do you think could be made?
These results show me that the
improvements that I could make
are adjusting the price, including
different bands on the front cover,
decrease the size of the image so
the masthead is fully visible,
experiment with the colour
scheme and reduce the amount of
text on the double page spread to
increase the chance of people's
interest.
