The BSE Sensex ended at 18537.01, up 30.44 points or 0.16%. The 30 share index touched a high and a low of
18590.33 and 18508.79 respectively. 19 stocks advanced against 11 declining ones on the benchmark index.
The S&P CNX Nifty gained 9.30 points or 0.17% to settle at 5635.90. The index touched high and low of 5649.20 and
5623.45 respectively. 31 stocks advanced against 18 declining ones on the index.

The volatility as denoted by INDIA VIX lost 0.07% at 14.67 from its previous close of 14.68 on Friday.
