I intend to use mise en scene to appeal to the target audience which is ages 16-25 and AB. This means
that the mise en scene must appeal to this specific target audience, so it must be varied in style and all
the elements must appeal to the 16-25 year olds in the AB bracket. Following this, the lighting in all my
pictures are going to be high key lighting and setting must be exciting and interesting to look at, and
most importantly appeal to the audience.
The camera angles used must be interesting also to appeal to the 16-25 year olds, so to comform to this I
am going to use a range of camera angles and shot types, for example close ups with a shallow depth
focus, long shots with everything in focus and collages of items that appeal to an AB audience between
the ages of 16 and 25.
The pictures used on the cover and contents page must be conventional to fashion magazines, so
following this the pictures I use on my two front covers are going to use direct address, be a medium to
long shot - showing the full outfit on the model - shallow depth and use a model that appeals to the
audience.
The font type and font size must be consistent throughout the two front covers and contents pages to
keep the magazine neat and appealing to an AB target audience. Therefore I am going to use the font
Chaparral Pro Light and differ font sizes according to relevance, for example coverlines font size being
bigger than the subline explaining what the article is about.

To follow the brief I must represent a social group. The social group I chose to represent is ethnicity
therefore I am intending to use my Asain friend on the cover of one of my front covers. The articles
included in the magazines are going to represent the social group as well while also appealing to the
target audience.
The website must also follow the brief of appealing to an AB bracket and ages 16 to 25.
I will follow this by my website homepage being neat and tody making it easy to navigate. I will do this by
having the name of the magazine at the top of the home page being the biggest font on there,followed by
a videoof a winter lookbook. I chose to do a lookbook because it appeals to ages 16-25 because it gives
the audience ideas of outfits and how to put an outfit together while also being stylish and looking good,
which is what the target audience - AB, ages 16 to 25 - will want from the website.
The website will also contain pictures of trending outfits and current runway fashion, which are topics of
interest for the target audience while also staying conventional to fashion websites.

I intend for the website and magazine to be linked in some way, therefore I am going to put the link to the
website in the skyline of the magazine front covers expressing that the websitehas additional content to
offer that the magazine does not have.
I will also put the magazine front covers on the website as it promotes the latest edition of the magazine
and persuades website viewers to buy the magazine as well as read the website.
Finally, I will have a code on the front cover og the magazine that the audience have to enter into the
website where they will be entered into a competition.
