2. My goal is to create an active webpage
for Texas Women’s Rugby.
• This group currently
has a Facebook page
and inactive Twitter
account.
3. Key Points
• Potential visitors should care because this
website could be shared with UT recruits and out-
of-state rugby players who’d like an inside look at
the club.
• My target audience would be rugby players of
any skill level or rugby fans who have a general
interest in the sport.
• This website is needed because one does not
exist for Texas Women’s Rugby and it would help
reach a broader audience.

5. Included Features
• I would include an updated calendar with
upcoming matches.
• Video highlights and photos.
• Officers page with email links to make contact
easier.
• Donation page for alumni and fans.
• FB/Twitter feed for live updates.
6. Marketing
• The marketing channels I will use are
Facebook and email.
• Facebook- post on the TWR page and
encourage others to share.
• Email- I will email family members our page to
keep up with the team and encourage other
players to do the same.
7. Why: The Rationale
• Sharing this page will help our team look more
professional.
• It helps more potential players see who we are
as a team and what kind of
events/tournaments we participate in.
8. Campaign messages
• Facebook- “Follow us here for tournament
updates, photos and contact information!”
• Email- “Hi (friends/family), you can stay
updated with the team and I at our website
here: www…org”
13. Marketing Results
Implemented April 29, received 43 sessions.
Next four days only had 21 views.
However, Monday May 4 had 54 views. Possibly due to tournament results being
made public nationally.
14. My goal was 500 total views. I fell just short at 496.
90 percent of my visitors were new.
My bounce rate was 57.69%. I can correct this by possibly posting more and
having even more promotion.
15. Access Locations
My most popular country was the US with 142 sessions, a bounce rate of 55.63%
and a 00:41 duration.
Third most popular was Germany with 29 sessions, a bounce rate of 79.31 percent
and a 00:14 duration, possibly due to the language barrier.
