2. Themes
• Pregnancy- This would be a prominent theme in soap operas as it
would demonstrate to audiences that there is a baby on the way
and more drama to come.
• Stalking-The theme of this may make the audience feel on edge
that something may happen to them which could cause uneasiness.
• Violence- This theme would stereotypically attract the male
audience as they stereotypically watch action packed programs. So
by making the violence more intense would attract more audiences
as there are more women then males who watch soap operas.
• Killing-This would also attract the male audience stereotypically as
they enjoy watching drama such as killings using blood and gore.

3. Tagline
• ‘Seeking the truth is harder then it looks’-This tagline
connotes the something has happened in the soap
opera such as a death. This could make the audiences
know that a big lie is being held in the soap opera.
• ‘Trouble Starts again’- This illustrates that the soap
opera has lots of drama and something may happen
which has previously happened on the soap opera.
• ‘The place of Revenge’- This connotes that something
mysterious is going to happen as people are going to
get ‘revenge’ on one another.
This will be positioned either at the top or bottom of the page so you can clearly see the
main image in the middle.

4. Images
• Characters looking at camera by road sign- This shows all the characters
and also some characters maybe holding hands therefore you would know
who is in a relationship. Also by the faces they could connote weather
they are happy or sad so audiences know what to expect.
• Layering images on silhouette- This means you could have the story's on
the poster so your know what themes are going to come up and it may
give an indication of which characters this is going to happen too. Also I
could have a main character as the silhouette so they fully stand out and
have trees in the background to add an eerie nature to the poster.

5. Software
• Adobe Photoshop CC 2015.5- This software is
useful in order to produce my poster. This will
enable me to edit images and add text to my
poster using different tools to create
something which represents my soap opera
trailer. I may include different themes on my
poster by adding it over a silloete to show the
darkness of the soap opera.

6. Other
• Synergy with social media- This means that audiences
can discuss both before and after about the magazine
such as what is going to happed which creates ‘hype’.
• Point of call information- This lets audiences know
where to watch the program and when which is curial
otherwise people won't know what channel to watch it
on so will miss the program.
• Synergy with the magazine- This means both the
magazine and poster follow the same storylines so
people can be ‘informed’ (Katz) about the magazine to
find out extra information.

7. Conclusion
• What I need to do: I need to make sure I capture
photos of scenes in my soap opera trailer and a
main image which could be edited for the centre.
• What I need to organise and arrange: The images
I take need to be people in my soap opera trailer
so people recognise the face which could have
some significance in my trailer.
• I will use: To edit my poster I will use Photoshop
CC 2015.5 as it is easy to edit photos and text
onto a background. This means the poster can be
professional looking for the audiences.
