2. DO YOU THINK THE COLOUR
SCHEMES FIT WITH MY MAGAZINE?
I asked my target audience whether
they thought the colour schemes that I
had used throughout my magazine fit
well together. 100% of respondents
said that they did fit well with my
genre.
I researched what colours I should have
used in the questionnaire I made
before production where II asked
which colours fit best with my genre, I
used this feedback which helped a lot.
3. DO YOU LIKE THE FONT CHOICES
THROUGHOUT THE MAGAZINE?
In this question I asked my target
audience whether they agreed with my
choices of font so I could find out
whether or not they fit with my genre
and other aspects of my magazine.
4. DO MY ARTICLES SUIT THE GENRE
OF MUSIC?
In this question I asked whether the
articles on my contents page and
front cover fit with the genre of my
magazine, I think it is important
that the articles do suit the genre so
that they please the target
audience.
The majority of respondents said
that my articles do suit the genre
although 12.5% said that they do
not.
5. WOULD YOU BUY THIS MAGAZINE
FOR £3.50?
For this question the answers
between the respondents were mixed
and split between yes and no.
This shows me that is is 50/50
whether my magazine is worth £3.50
or not.
6. DO YOU LIKE THE FONT USED ON
MY DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD?
As I struggled with the choosing of
my font for my double page
spread I decided to ask what my
audience thought of the nes of
chose.
The majority of my respondents
said that the font I chose was
good.
7. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE
COVER LINES?
When choosing the cover lines
for my front cover I chose 5 of
which I thought fit best with my
genre and magazine.
I got a mix response from my
respondents when I asked this
question. 12.5% of people said
that there were to little cover
lines, where as the majority said
that there were enough.
8. DOES MY DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD IMAGE
FIT THE MAGAZINE’S GENRE?
It was important that my front
cover image fit the genre of
rock music as it is the first thing
people see when they look at a
magazine therefore when they
first see this image they must
relate it to the rock genre.
The majority of my respondents
said that they think the image
does fit the rock genre.
9. DOES THE FRONT COVER CATCH
YOUR ATTENTION?
As stated on the previous
question it is important that the
image catches the eye as it is
the first thing a reader would
see and it should make
someone want to read the
magazine. ¾ of respondents
said that my front cover is eye-
cathing but if I were to re-do
the magazine then I might use
a less dull coloured image.
10. DO YOU THINK THERE IS ENOUGH
CONTENT ON MY FRONT COVER?
The amount of content that I
added to my front cover was
important as I did not want to fill
the page with information or put
barely anything on but 100% of
the respondents said that there
was enough content so therefore
I would not need to change this.
11. DO YOU LIKE THE NAME OF THE
MAGAZINE?
As in my questionnaire that I
produced earlier on I asked my
audience what I should call my
magazine I think this helped the
results of this question as 100%
of my respondents agreed that
the name ‘Plugged’ was a good
name.
