of your main product and
ancillary texts?

2.  When planning my ancillary texts I wanted to
achieve the same level of mystery I planned on
creating in my music video and therefore didn’t
necessarily want to stick to the general conventions
of existing digipaks.
 I also wanted to ensure that there was clear
continuity between both the digipak and the
website as well as continuity with the music video
as well.

3.  The combination of my music video and digipak
was successful because the digipak was designed
in black and white predominantly which tied in well
with the flashback sequences in the music video.
 It was also successful combined with the website
as I designed the website with a black, white and
grey theme meaning it linked well with the digipak
and again with the flashback sequences.

4.  The website was the most successful of the
ancillary products with the main product as I was
able to tweak things and add pages to show stills
from the actual music video, giving it a more
successful combination with the music video than
the digipak was.
 The website did link well with the digipak as well
with the continuous colour theme, however it was
far better combined with the music video.
