2. - What aspects of the video link with the digipack/magazine ad?
MusicVideo
Digipack
The same
costume is also
seen throughout
the music video,
as well as the
digipack and
magazine ad,
showing a clear
link between the
three.
The use of close up shots are seen
in both, the digipack and music
video allowing the audience to
identify with the artist and
recognise him through the use of
shots.

3. - What aspects of the video link with the digipack/magazine ad? …continued
MusicVideo Digipack Magazine Ad
Throughout all three, video, digipack
and magazine ad, the background
colour is the same (grey/off white)
linking all three of them together. It
gives them a professional look and
links with the earthy tones of the
video.
On both the digipack &
Magazine ad the same font is
used to make a clear
connection between the two,
making it become a
recognisable logo linked with
the artist.
4. - How successful do you think your main and ancillary
texts are?
■ We think our main text (MusicVideo) had a good
outcome and looked professional. By sticking to
having a simple location and only 2 locations
throughout the whole video may seem re-occurring
however we feel it comes across as effective and
straight forward,Although to make this successful
you would need to have a artist that fits the genre
and is good in front of a camera which we believe we
had (Henry).
■ We also believe both of our ancillary texts (Digipack
& MagazineAd) were successful as we used synergy
to link all of the products together by using the same
theme, for example colours, costume and font
making them look professional and effective.
5. - Do you think your target audience would be attracted to them?
■ We believe our target audience will be attracted to our texts,
as they fit with the genre and are not too over the
top/complicated. By having a simple yet effective theme fits
with the slow pace song and acoustic sounds giving the image
of our video and ancillary texts as earthy and down to earth.
