3. Fincher worked with a high budget, therefore
worked with big stars. Many videos with pop icon
Madonna. Here is an example of a music video with
Madonna; the setting, camera angles and general
mise-en-scene connote her as the star and the
ultimate sexy symbol
4. This JustinTimberlake music video by Fincher is one
of my favourites as it his most modern video and
appeals to my target audience. This video is
evidently a very high budget, therefore would be
hard for me to replicate. However, I really liked the
black and white edit, as it gives it a very ‘cool’ and
vintage look.
I also like how there is a performance element as
well as narrative.
5. His video for Don Henley's "The End of the
Innocence" won Henley the MTVVideo Music
Award for Best MaleVideo in 1990.
He also earned back-to-back MTVVideo Music
Awards for Best Direction in 1989 for "Express
Yourself" and in 1990 for "Vogue".
In 1990, he earned three of the four available
nominations in the Best Direction category.
On January 26th, 2014 he won the Grammy
