1. David Fincher
David Fincher was born in 1962, he grew up in Marin county, California.
When he was eighteen he got a job at korty films in Mill Valley ran by John
Korty.
He worked at ILM from 1981-1983. He then left to direct music videos and TV
commercials. He later went on to find propaganda in 1987 with fellow
directors; Dominic Sena, Greg Gold and Nigel Dick.
David has directed TV commercials for Nike, Coca Cola, Levi’s and
Chanel. He has directed music videos for Madonna, Sting, George
Michael and The Rolling Stones.

2. His films often end in suicide, either attempted or successful. He
uses low key lighting with green or blue tinted colour
temperature. Wide shots and single frame inserts are used in his
films.
Posters almost always feature close-ups of character’s faces.
Frequently starts his movies with creative title sequences that
express the theme/genre of the movie.
