Work Experience
May 2012 – Two Week Work Experience at Salford City College Business Centre
During my time at the Business Centre I gained knowledge and experience in handling both
incoming and outgoing telephone calls, dealing with customers who came into the centre to
book courses, emailing course information to employers and general office duties.
2011 – 2012 Part time Waitress - Greyhound Public House, Boothstown, Manchester.
My duties as a waitress involved showing customers to their table, taking their order and
relaying this information to the kitchen staff, serving food and handling money.
2012 – Present – Part Time Childcare Assistant. WASP Childcare, Boothstown, Manchester.
As a part time assistant at WASP I am responsible for ensuring the children in my care are
happy and safe. I work alongside several other staff to organise activities and to monitor the
children closely at all times. I liaise frequently with parents to inform them of their child’s
progress or any issues that may have occurred during their session at the afterschool club.

I am a polite, trustworthy and confident individual who can work well bothon my own and as a
member of a team. I have excellent customer service skills and am confident to talk to people
