Personal Statement
I am looking for customer service supervisor position which offers me the opportunity to
develop new skills as well as move on my career ladder.
During my degree, I successfully combined my studies with work and other commitments
showing myself to be self-motivated, organized and capable of working under pressure.
Moreover I have been working as a Customer service representative at JW Marriott Hanoi
for nearly 3 years where I’ve got so many skills such as communication, time management,
problem solving, training, etc.
I always try to learn something new from every experience because I believe there is
always room for self-improvement both personally and professionally.

2012- 2013: Trainee at Hotel Windsor, Singapore

 15/08/2013- Now: Senior At Your Service agent, JW Marriott Hanoi hotel
 Key responsibility
 Receiving external calls to handle and divide to different departments.
 Receiving in-house customer requirements.
Reservation/ Upselling
Giving customer directions
Taking room service order
 Receiving and replying all email of customers.
 Consulting hotel service for customer: Room types, F&B services,
outlet information, menu, and promotion.
 Supporting and back up of reservation, concierge, sale, and event
departments.
 Working closely with other departments to ensure the quickest
service for guests.
 Using multi hotel software to support multi-tasks.
 Skills
It is an enormous school for me to be trained. I learn so many essential skills
here. I know how to work as a team and how to work individually as well. I
also learnt how to communicate with our co –workers and with managers,
how to work under strong pressure, etc.
 02/2013-04/2013: Receptionist, Calypso Grand hotel
It is 3-star hotel at the corner of Hanoi French Quarter. Although it is small hotel but
supply the best quality for guest.
Receptionist will do everything for guest from check in, check out, concierge and
tour consulter also.
I was learnt so many skills there as communication, teamwork, attentive…
 06/07/2012- 04/01/2013: Waitress, Café Windsor , Singapore
Work in a busy restaurant sometimes under pressure with multi races co-workers.
Hence I got not only working skills but also life skills. Besides I had chance to
communicate in English with so many people from India, Malaysia, Philippine,
Singapore.My English speaking and listening has been improved so much.
 08/2007- 12/2007: Waitress staff, True Viet restaurant
Welcome and instruct guests to the restaurant, receive orders from guest
Monitor incoming/outgoing guest stream, ensure highest service, decoration and
sanitary standards of the restaurant
Work closely with chef to deal with special requests from guests
ACTIVITIES
2008-2011: Volunteer student club
It is a club of tourism faculty of Social Science and Humanity University where every
studentcan improve English as well as communication skill and tour guide’s skills.
INTERESTS
Training: love training for new comers all the knowledge and experiences and help them
get on with their jobs.
Sports:I believe that a healthy body is the key to have a focused and perspicacious mind. I
love dance sport as well as walking.
Living life: We only get one shot of this life so I aim to get the most out of it. I love spending
time with my friends, chatting with them about life, travelling all around the world. I’m also
more than happy to help other people and then see their smiles, feel their happiness.

 Languages: Excellent speaking, listening, reading and writing English
