S- The fourth grade students will locate where the Amazon Rainforest is on a map with 90%
accuracy by the end of the lesson. The students will be able to describe with 85% accuracy what
the Amazon Rainforest looks like.
S- Materials used will be a QR code that leads to a virtual tour of the Amazon, a Voki
introducing the Amazon Rainforest, and a poster depicting where the Amazon is on a map, as
well as a blank map of the world. A YouTube video all about the Amazon.
U- After seeing the Voki, students will scan the QR code and go on the virtual tour of the
Amazon Rainforest. The poster will be shown to the students and hung on the classroom wall.
Students will receive the blank map that they will have to fill in. Students will view YouTube
video.
