2. In the holistic perspective of universe, everything is
categorized on the basis of relative proportions of
five elements pruthvi, aapa, teja vayu and aakasha;
three characteristics or properties viz. of satva, raja
and tama. Depending on their proportions and
consequent particular qualities, characteristics,
potentials, capabilities and limitations; the human
beings are categorized as; brahmana, kshatriya,
vaishya and shudra. There is another classification,
which is not mutually exclusive; based on the above
mentioned elements and properties leading to
physiological governing characteristics viz. vata, pitta
and kapha. Further; the human beings are classified
on the basis of their stages of inner growth and
development; viz. baddha, mumukshu, sadhaka and
siddha.
These classifications merely differentiate. They DO
NOT discriminate .They only identify, organize and
harmonize. They DO NOT divide.
If we wish to retrieve the in built unity which we have
forgotten or forsaken; then we have to return to and
3. re-adapt and use the holistic and unprejudiced
taxonomy of universe and mankind.
We must get rid of arbitrary, inaccurate, biased,
prejudiced, grudged and divisive classification,
terminology or semantics based on region, race,
color, religion, ideology etc. as it is full of sectarian
perspective, thoughts, feelings and passions and
consequent sectarian actions. It has in the past and
continues even today; to create; indiscrete and
indiscriminate fanaticism, fundamentalism, division,
and violence.
The empowering, enlivening and enlightening
awareness of being “eternal omnipresent one” (or
rather being beyond the concept of time, space and
counting) and all the transactions flowing from it;
and following it; constitute the individual and
universal blossoming viz. superliving, the core of
which is namasmaran.
