We “Felt” 
1.In our village we face scarcity of drinking water in-spite of average rains 
every year. 
2.Insensitivity of people towards saving water 
3.insensitivity of people towards storing rain water. 
4.The women of the village have to bring water from 1 k.m. far. 
5.In social functions and other events villagers spend on hiring water 
tankers.
We “Imagined” 
‘’JAL HI JEEWAN HAI’’ 
We discussed with fellow students and teachers to make a concensus to 
work over this issue. We chose it because village is suffering from lack of 
water while clean rain water was wasted and cause waterlogging too, which 
can be tapped for a low cost effective solution. 
The children decided to approach the teachers to find a solution of problem. 
We were also required to approach an expert for more information and 
suggestion. 
Finally we decided to connect the nearest gram panchayat Sarpanch with 
NAREGA Yojana.
We“Did” 
1-The students met with villagers to spread awareness on importance of water. 
2-The students conducted rallies and door to door visit to aware on water issues. 
3-The children gave informations and suggestions to villagers to save water. 4- 
Some students and teachers went to the desert and dig some small tanks to store 
and save rainy water. 
5- Student explain it’s importence. 
6-Finally some women went with students and make a “MED” around farms to store 
water. 
7-At last - Sarpanch ordered to make a DAM in the DESERT area in the scheme of 
NAREGA. 
8- Started the work to make a DAM. Many men and women got ROJGAR in this 
work.
SHARE 
1-People got motivated by our campaign and moved to saving water by 
various means e.g. 
[a].Wall around the water tank to catch spillage for cattle’s drinking. 
[b].Roof Top water collection systems installed. 
2-The DAM is fully-filled with rain water. 
4- After that hard work all villagers and youth motivate them and commit 
to support to save water at household levels as well. 
5-Children regular connect with villagers and take stock of their behavior 
change towards water conservation. 
----Water is Gold of Future or Blue Gold---

We “Felt” 1.In our village we face scarcity of drinking water in-spite of average rains every year. 2.Insensitivity of people towards saving water 3.insensitivity of people towards storing rain water. 4.The women of the village have to bring water from 1 k.m. far. 5.In social functions and other events villagers spend on hiring water tankers.
  • 3. We “Imagined” ‘’JAL HI JEEWAN HAI’’ We discussed with fellow students and teachers to make a concensus to work over this issue. We chose it because village is suffering from lack of water while clean rain water was wasted and cause waterlogging too, which can be tapped for a low cost effective solution. The children decided to approach the teachers to find a solution of problem. We were also required to approach an expert for more information and suggestion. Finally we decided to connect the nearest gram panchayat Sarpanch with NAREGA Yojana.
  • 4. We“Did” 1-The students met with villagers to spread awareness on importance of water. 2-The students conducted rallies and door to door visit to aware on water issues. 3-The children gave informations and suggestions to villagers to save water. 4- Some students and teachers went to the desert and dig some small tanks to store and save rainy water. 5- Student explain it’s importence. 6-Finally some women went with students and make a “MED” around farms to store water. 7-At last - Sarpanch ordered to make a DAM in the DESERT area in the scheme of NAREGA. 8- Started the work to make a DAM. Many men and women got ROJGAR in this work.
  • 5. SHARE 1-People got motivated by our campaign and moved to saving water by various means e.g. [a].Wall around the water tank to catch spillage for cattle’s drinking. [b].Roof Top water collection systems installed. 2-The DAM is fully-filled with rain water. 4- After that hard work all villagers and youth motivate them and commit to support to save water at household levels as well. 5-Children regular connect with villagers and take stock of their behavior change towards water conservation. ----Water is Gold of Future or Blue Gold---
