To whom it may concern;
I am writing this letter of reference to you on behalf of Mrs. Deena Terrell. I have known
Deena for several years and gladly recommend her for any position in which she pursues.
In her position as a “Social Worker”, Deena was employed with Emory University
Hospital from 2001- 2004. During her employment she worked on our Neuroscience
floor and it was immediately evident, that we had chosen the right Social Worker. Deena
is a natural; she is a great communicator between the patients, their families and the
physicians.
My colleagues and I knew throughout the day the status and disposition of all our patients
which allowed us to do our job without worry, leaving discharge planning and case
management in the hand of this very competent, self driven, professional. She is the
genuine article - committed, efficient and professional. Mrs. Terrell takes the initiative to
place patients and it was always in the best interest of the patients and/or their families.
I cannot say enough good things about her, for I have worked as a physician at a number
of hospitals including: Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Sloan
Kettering Memorial Hospital, Grady Memorial and Crawford Long Hospital, and Deena
has been one of the best social workers I have had the pleasure to work with and know.
I am honored to write this letter of recommendation, character reference, for Mrs. Deena
Terrell, not simply because she asked, but because I think excellence should be
acknowledged.
