I am writing this letter to recommend Zoila Alvarado for the position of Patient Access/
Registration. I am currently a Medical Director for the ER at Torrance Memorial
Medical Center and have had the pleasure of working with Zoila over the past 6
years. Mrs. Alvarado is skilled in all the qualities needed for her job and would be a
great asset in any similar position.
Our Emergency Department is one of the busiest in LA County, seeing over 200 patients
a day. We rely heavily on our Registration staff to provide timely and accurate patient
information. This involves covering a lot of ground as well as working with a wide
variety of personalities. Zoila gets the job done quickly with friendliness and
professionalism. She takes pride in doing her job well and makes those around her better.
While Zoila's departure would be sad for TMMC, we understand her decision to leave. I
recommend her highly and without reservation.
