2. Jonas became the receiver .
He found color and joy.
He realize that no one would understand him.
Jonas is now charged with the enormous job of
maintaining all the memories of the community
from snow, colors, grandparents, love, and Christmas
to grief, broken bones, horror, and war.
3. He over came his adversity by running away.
Jonas and Gabriel depart for Elsewhere, a place where
there is difference.
The Giver explains that if Jonas leaves the community
that all the memories that he has received will return
to the community so that is the reason why he run
away.
4. Zebra broke his arm by running so fast that he would
fell his legs so light it was as if he had no legs at all and
was flying.
5. A man named John Wilson changed his life by making
him draw so it changed his life by drawing since he
can’t draw.
6. Victor has a crush on Theresa but does not know what
to do so that Theresa will like him.
He is making a lot faces so that Theresa will like him
but still it not working.
7. He became his adversity by lying to say he can speak
French.
So since Theresa does not know how to speak French
he ask victor if he can help.
8. The characters were so brave to over come their
adversity.
