  2. 3. <ul><li>The National Anthem was sung by Smethport students: Chelsea Becker and Karrissa Stuck </li></ul><ul><li>Opening comments were made by Mary Colf, IU9 Executive Director </li></ul><ul><li>Institute participants were welcomed by Jenny Lent, IU9 Director of Curriculum, Technology and Resources </li></ul><ul><li>Area educators packed the Smethport High School auditorium for the opening ceremony. </li></ul><ul><li>IU9 Directors and staff were in attendance. </li></ul>OPENING CEREMONY
