2. Camera
• Canon HV40
• This camera is of a very high quality and is
capable of capturing very good quality film,
which is something that we were looking for as
during last year’s project, one of the camera’s
we used was so bad we had to re-film the
whole thing, something that we are definitely
trying to avoid this time round.
• It requires tapes to capture footage which is a
slight downfall as this may become more of an
issue and time consuming task when importing
the footage on to a computer.
3. Tripod
• SLR Camera Tripod
• We will be using the tripod for the majority
of our scenes as we also star in the teaser
trailer and this is the only way we can
capture a lot of our shots.
• Having this tripod means that we can create
professional panning shot’s, thus removing
any chance of jerking and shakiness in the
footage.
• It isn’t too heavy or too big which means we
can easily transport to different locations
and carry it around the house easily.
4. Lighting
• 500W Lamp
• This lighting equipment will be very useful
during the filming process as last year we had
the problem of many of our shots being too
dark for our camera, and this large lamp
should eliminate this issue this year.
• We will use it to bounce the light off ceilings
or walls during when filming so it doesn’t
completely wash out our actors but instead
adds a more natural and warm light to our
shots.
• We will have to be careful when using this as
the lamp can get very hot and this could be a
health and safety issue whilst filming.
