Introduction
Australia has taken from English Law in adopting the cab rank rule, encoded in The Victorian Bar Incorporated
Practice Rules 2009 (Vic). This essay will discuss the application of the rule, the strengths and weaknesses and will
conclude to discuss why the rule should remain an integral part of the Bar despite many calls for its abolition.

The cab rank rule states that a lawyer practicing solely as a barrister must accept a brief in a field they profess to

Through the years of school students go through many teachers which are all very different in their teaching methods
and how they grade. Some teachers offer a lot of opportunities to significantly boost a student's grade while others
are very strict about how they grade, for example, Student A is the exact same as Student B, but one of them has a

But there is one simple way to fix that problem that a lot of us lower enlisted seem to have. If the person you are
about to talk to is not your chief or one of the other chiefs in your platoon. Do not talk to them unless they speak to
you first. And all you really need to say to them is check, roger, hooah. In the past year and three months, I have had

Abstract
This paper is about the problems the military is having on the fairness of military awards and the bias towards junior
officers and junior soldiers not getting the higher awards. First, should military awards be based on rank or merit
because hard work and merit is the reason for the award? Even though rank may play a small factor, should military

As Senior NCO?s we need to come up with ways to help fix the awards process to make it fair and based on merit
not rank or position.
According to ?AR 600–8–22 / 25 June 2015 para 3–1 c: The decision to award an individual a decoration and the
decision as to which award is appropriate are both subjective decisions made by the commander having award
approval authority. Awards for meritorious achievement or service will not be based upon the grade of the intended
recipient. Rather, the award should reflect both the individual?s level of responsibility and his or her manner of
performance. The degree to which an individual?s achievement or service enhanced the readiness or effectiveness of
his or her organization will be the leading factor?.
I think the AR 600–8–22 is very clear on the guidance for awards and we need to change the way awards are written
and ensure the commander knows and understands the process.
My Personal Frustration with the Awards Process
As a Sergeant Major I have sat on numerous military awards boards and have written many recommendations for
awards for my soldiers and military personnel in my units. I was deployed to Farah, Afghanistan with a combined
joint force on a Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) in 2007 as the Civil Affairs Team NCOIC and Forward
Operating Base SGM. The PRT missions was civil affairs and helps set–up governance and build schools in the
Farah, Afghanistan area of operation, with a Navy Commander and joint

This is also one of the most important reasons for the rank structure to have been created is that any time a
commander can find out the condition of his troops. And this of course is something that every commander
especially if the commander is going in to a wartime environment would like to know what strength he is has. Rank
structure is vital to the Marine Corps or any military organization because rank structure is the basis of where all
discipline in the ranks comes from. Without a rank structure know one would know who is in charge of who and
everyone would start to trying to take charge in their own way cause confusion and disorder through the ranks. Also
without rank structure, when rules or orders are broken in a military organization it is up to the superior of that
person to discipline that person, no one would know who was supposed to merit the discipline or who is supposed to
carry out the discipline thus cause more chaos and anarchy. Therefore in conclusion we see that without rank
structure, military organization such as the Marine Corps could not function. Without rank structure the Marine
Corps would be in disorder and disarray, because it would have no idea who was in charge and who was suppose to

Is the biggest issue of OPCraft. You will be temp–banned for 48 hours. The staff that banned the player needs clear
evidence, if it shows the player hacking, it will result into a permanent ban.
Advertising

Racism spamming racist words, or better known as "racially obnoxious" results into a warn, if repeated a 15 minute

Rank and Yank When dealing with performance improvement tools, an organization must focus on finding ways to
strengthen their workforce. An organization must find ways to motivate their employees. This must be part of the
organizations culture, the combination of motivation and organizational culture will lead the group into great success.
Organizational culture is the personality of the organization, this involves values and norms (McNamara, 2000). Part
of the idea of creating such culture will give an organization structure, this assembly must involve supporting the

Another side to why I would like to obtain the rank is to make other Staff members job easier. With another Helper
being added to the team it would lower the workload/stress off others so they don't end up panicking. Another reason
I would like to be a Helper is to help the community grow. I have worked on events on past gaming sites for example
when I was working on an MLG Partner company. I would arrange events with giveaways to try and bring more

within the military is not a new concept. Gender inequality is particularly well–known and everyone is familiar with
the concept of military rank; benefits increase as rank increases. Lower ranking military service personnel receive
smaller, lower quality base houses, are expected to work longer hours, receive less BAH (Basic Allowance for
Housing) regardless of family size, and may not receive all of the support services entitled to them. How does the

The forced ranking is a very harsh rating system in my eyes. I believe the forced ranking system is unethical.
Eliminating the bottom ten of an organization ever year can be costly to a company. It promotes employee turnover
